Credentials do not exist in Curve 8520 while using wi-fi - blackberry

I have the following exception while I try to login in my application in curve 8520 using wi-fi
"Credentials do not exist"
same application works before. but suddenly this exception comes.
I can access the internet services as well as open webpages using wi-fi.
but at the time of login my application "Credentials do not exist" exception comes.
I also cheched that at the time of clicked the application icon,device registration works. .
application works fine with using http connection without using wi-fi.
problem comes only when I try to login via wi-fi

Maybe post your connect URL? It sounds like you're mixing up the appenders for APN and wifi. "Credentials do not exist" sounds like APN fail.
Wifi should be:
deviceside=true;interface=wifi
APN is just deviceside=true, if you have default APN configured. If not, you get a credentials fail. So maybe you're just missing that wifi signifier?

Connecting using SnowSQL denied 403 error

I am trying to configure JDBC but kept getting the same error I am getting using snowsql:
250001 (08001): Failed to connect to DB. Verify the account name is correct: JG3409.canada-central.azure.snowflakecomputing.com:443. 000403: 403: HTTP 403: Forbidden
If the error message is unclear, enable logging using -o log_level=DEBUG and see the log to find out the cause. Contact support for further help.
Goodbye!
I have configured the config file, and I have double checked the account, company, region, reset password to only use alphanumeric.
I have used both forms of the URL
The only possibility is that I am using a trial account, but I can't imagine that this would limit external non-browser connections?
I use a simple user/password, I have whitelisted my IP and I don't have a problem with a proxy or a firewall. I can successfully connect using a browser.. using:
https://app.snowflake.com/canada-central.azure/jg63409
Important contents of the config file:
[connections]
accountname=JG3409
#accountname=uegxydq-pz20606
region=canada-central.azure
username=ASHSNOWFLAKE
any ideas?
Your account is not JG3409 but JG63409 based on this link:
https://app.snowflake.com/canada-central.azure/jg63409
Try in your browser:
https://jg63409.canada-central.azure.snowflakecomputing.com
I found out using snowcd that my computer could not connect via my home router.
When I used my personal hotspot on my (5G) phone, snowcd passed all the tests immediately. The problem then arose how to adjust the network security policy to allow a CIDR block of network addresses through since my phone uses a new address every time I connect, and I can't edit the policy to allow my phone while connected via my phone (for obvious reasons)
Catch 22
123.45.0.0/16 is not accepted in the new Snowflake UI, and 0.0.0.0 doesn't work for me, but the documentation gave me a clue.. the new UI doesn't separate by commas, so I switched to the old UI and voila!
Incidentally the OLD UI uses the same URL as SnowSQL so I picked up my error in my account number there as well (although I should have seen it earlier).
Diabolical but thanks #Sergiu too!

Sending Email from .NET using windows live smtp

I have configured smtp settings in web.config and I was able to successfully send email when working on my local machine. But when I uploaded the code on the server, its giving me following exception
Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.3 Requested action aborted
Meanwhile, I also received an email from Microsoft telling me that an attempt to login to my account from a new location was blocked. I clearly understand the problem that server is in a different part of the world than where I usually login to a Windows Live account. That's why it is blocking the account to login. But I want it to login and send email using my credentials on from remote server. There must be some settings in Windows Live account but I failed to find one.
Contacting Hotmail Support Center first to find out if its really possible what you are intending to do might be helpful. I think if hotmail web administration has put a security check, it must be for a purpose of stopping such remote login activities.

iOS8 Simulator: Proxy authentication pop up not being shown

The corporate network which I am using is having "proxy" set up to connect to internet. I made the necessary changes in Network settings in mac and I am able to see websites loading in Safari (I have entered the credentials and saved in KeyChain also), but when I try to access the sites via iOS simulator, the connection fails and asks for authentication but the problem is that no pop-up is being shown so that I can enter the username and pwd. I have seen the pop-ups in iOS6 simulator and it used to work. I would like to know whether I need to do some changes specifically to iOS simulator to get this working?
I tried turning on Settings -> Developer -> Allow HTTP services, this works when you are in an open network (home), but in corporate network auth error is being show in a plain html page and there is no pop-up to enter credentials. I also tried restarting the simulator none of this fixed the issue .
Below is the error
Error Code :407 Proxy Authentication Required. Forefront TMG requires authorization to fulfill the request. Access to the Web Proxy filter is denied. (12209).
Thanks in advance
-anoop
This is mentioned as a known issue in the Xcode 6.1 Release Notes:
iOS Simulator does not support the use of network proxy servers that
require authentication. (14889876)

iOS: itms-services with proxy authentication

I am using itms-services to install my app over the air. Everything is working fine if I donĀ“t use a proxy. The app installs properly in iOS6 and iOS7.
But if I use a proxy I simply get the message that the app could not be installed. I get no more information. There is also nothing in the device logs. I am sure that the proxy information in the settings are correct.
The proxy uses basic authentication. I used wireshark to have a look at network traffic.
The iPad sends the proxy credentials correctly when requesting the ipa file for installation.
But the proxy still sends an access denied back to the iPad. Once again I am sure that the credentials are correct.
Is it even possible to use itms-services with a proxy that uses proxy authentication? Has someone ever used itms-services with proxy authentication?
I hope someone can help me. Thanks for your help in advance!
It turned out to be a simple problem. Our provider blocked the CA of the server certificate. When the iPad wanted to check if the server certificate is valid it tried to get the root certificate. But the proxy blocked that request. Strange that apple does not give any hint on that in device logs or anywhere else.
So the "proxy authorization required" by the server had nothing to do with the real problem.
The answer to the actual question is: It is possible to use itms-services to install apps OTA with proxy authentication. (We used basic auth in this case?

IOS MDM denying checkin request not working

I have a custom mdm solution running for IOS.
during enrollment, I am using HTTP basic authentication to pass the user name and password to be verified against our db/AD.
if the user is denied access, I send a 401.
however, on the IOS side, it pops up an error that says "safari could not install a profile due to an unknown error". Seems like a pretty bad error where I want it to say access denied.
Also there's an issue that safari decides to cache the credential used, so I don't get a chance to re-enter the user/pass again unless I clear all the cookie/cache data.
Anyone have met this issue before?
Looks to be issue with my code.
I've sent a 401, but actually the specification calls for a WWW-Authenticate header to be sent as well. With that added it, it's working normally now.
Have you considered using a more widely tested MDM solution such as AirWatch? A solution such as this has integration with AD and would be an excellent option for you to evaluate.
