Open page in silverlight out of browser - silverlight-3.0

Is there any way to open a page in the browser by clicking the app in out-of-browser mode?
Thank you

HyperlinkButton works. I was trying with HtmlPage.Window.Navigate with no success. And because the button supports content it is simple to create something like a linked image.

Agreed with Artur and simple way to do this is :
1) Put HyperLink Button in your Silverlight page.
2) Generate Click event and provide :
hyperlink.NavigateUri = new Uri("Url",UriKind.RelativeOrAbsolute);
3) Simply Run the Application and Click on HyperLink Button.

split button outlook command add-in

I am designing a menu for an outlook add-in using Node.js
I would like that menu to behave like these SplitButton (a button that can trigger events adjacent to a dropdown menu). If you look at the splitbutton picture, It shows the paste button you see on Office Word as an exemple; if you click paste, it will paste by default but the the dropdown menu next to it has a seperate action that gives you different pasting options in the form of a dropdown menu.
I am using this the manifest found in this tutorial https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/dev/add-ins/outlook/manifests , unfortunately the menu button cannot have any event attached to it, just give the dropdown menu.
A description of what I am trying to achieve can be found here https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/18447/SplitButton-a-NET-WinForm-control-Part-1, the button part and the split part can have their own actions. Is there a way to do this inside the outlook add in manifest? I am using node.js
Currently the whole button works as a dropdown.
Thank you

How to Auto Login to a web-site?

Hello,
I need to login to a web-site automatically. It is a dashboard. Is there a URL link code which I can create as shortcut link or VBScript code to achieve this? Also is there a AppleScript for MAC?
Here's an example of a javascript bookmarklet that creates a form hidden in a div at the bottom of the current page and then submits it. (I included a time stamp cause many dashboard logins include a hidden timestamp field in the form.)
javascript:self.moveTo(0,0);self.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight);document.body.appendChild(document.createElement('div')).innerHTML='<form%20name="BletForm"%20method="POST"%20action="https://secure.mysite.com/index.asp?action=login"><input%20type="hidden"%20name=“domain”%20value=“mydomain”%20/><input%20type="hidden"%20name="username"%20value=“myname”%20/><input%20type="hidden"%20name="password"%20value=“mypassword"%20/><input%20type="hidden"%20name="hidDateTime"%20id="idhidDateTime"%20value=""%20/></form>';document.getElementById('idhidDateTime').value=+new%20Date()%20/1000%20|0;document.forms%5B'BletForm'%5D.submit();
You can use that code along with do javascript in safari for an Applescript solution. Something like:
set jsCode to "document.body.app..."
tell application "Safari"
do JavaScript jsCode in current tab of window 1
end tell

opening default browser with delphi at specific position

I want to open a web page at default browser at a specific position and also open another webpages at that one, not new task of that browser. maybe user opens new task of that browser but by clicking a button in my delphi program the selected web page have to open at first one. is that possible? my company wants me to program such thing BUT I do not know how to do. I really appricate any help. thanks.
There are instructions here to open the default browser, but you may even be able to "run" a url, as you can from the Windows run command. You then need to retain the handle of that process so that you can do something with it.
To open a web page at a particular point you would ideally use a named anchor in the page, ie, the bit after a hash: http://www.w3schools.com/TAGS/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_a_name If you don't have control of the page and there are no named anchors you could try scrolling: How to scroll the scrollbar in external application via WinAPI?

How do I create a confirmation dialog in jQuery Mobile?

I want to have a confirmation dialog (not plain javascript) show when the user clicks a button, but I'd rather have it embeded instead of referencing another page.
How do I embed a dialog for use on a jQuery Mobile page?
You have 2 options really - if you want it to popup and fill the page, you can create a JQM dialog page (even dynamicaly), and switch to it. JQM dialogs are explained more in detail here:
http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.0b1/docs/pages/docs-dialogs.html
It is quite possible to append a new dialog to the same page (simple append it to the container above the one with data-role="page") and switch to it with $.changePage(...)
Another option, if you want it to popup "over" the existing content (modal mode from UI dialog), this plugin will do that:
http://dev.jtsage.com/jQM-SimpleDialog/
Full disclosure: I wrote the second one, so I am biased. However, it does employ a bit of option 1 above, and you are of course welcome to rip the code apart to see how it works if you'd rather roll your own.
Edit:
Another option is to use the builtin popup interface, added in the last major version (1.2.0 I think). It can be found here, and is included in the default:
http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.2.0/docs/pages/popup/index.html

Can i redirect_to in a new window

I have a list of links that users can click. When a click is made, I want to increment a counter (to track how many users clicked that link) and then open the link in a new window.
Right now, in the 'show' method method, I can do all that except the "new window" thing. Is there a way to achieve this in pure rails or do I have to do put some additional javascript to launch an ajax request (for the incrementation) and then open the link in a new window?
thanks,
Pierre
I would think the easiest solution would be to just have your link contain
target="_blank"
The window would open, go to your counter page, and get redirected to the correct page
You need to use AJAX, either to return javascript from the server or just a success code, and then open in a new window from javascript.
HTTP provides no way to open a new window.
A note! Be SURE you're a tags still have hrefs pointing at the URLs for your SEO!
Good luck!
A simple javascript may do:
window.open('filename.php?var=' + varvalue, 'resizable=1, scrollbars=1, left=80,top=60, width=650, min-height=400');
If you are using any jquery libraries, you can look into modals.
I do know about how to do this in Rails.
