MSN Messenger Add-in - add-in

Q1. I read that Add-ins are no longer supported in MSN Messenger, on the other hand i see articles talking about how to change registery settings to enable Add-in option. I am not sure what is right.?
Q2. If Addin is supported then how do i write my own add-in using .net 3.5 ?
What Library/SDK i need.?
Regards

Although add-ins are no longer supported, it does not mean that you cannot develop add-in. But it's discouraged by MS and can be a real pain (Poor or no documentation, API changes without notice, etc). Read the Patchou blog for more info (the developer of Messenger Plus)
The only extension supported by MS are Activities. More info at the Windows Live Messenger Activity SDK Center

How to use Microsoft's ios offline translation API?

If I find the offline translation of the ios system, I have not found any api about the azure ios offline translation on the official website.
It is not currently available for iOS. Seems like it was a feature that was available previously, but it is now limited. Their website doesn't include a section for iOS translation anymore.
I wish I could provide a valid source online but my information comes from several hours on customer service calls with Microsoft Representatives who either told me that (1) the feature doesn't exist, (2) the feature used to exist but they can't find the pages anymore, (3) that the feature never existed and that it will be coming soon to iOS.

What is the difference between SAP Fiori and Movilizer?

What is the difference between SAP Fiori and Movilizer?
They both are used to show SAP data in mobile phone, then where is the difference?
Fiori- Rich UI design which have a capability to adopt all the platform and have an easy way to develop complex sap business logic
Movilizer-A product from Honeywell, which have an offline and cloud integration to collect data from enterprise (SAP, MS, Oracle) to Mobile app
Regards,
Karthik A
The way I understood it:
Fiori: web based apps
Mobilizer: Hybrid apps
Best regards
Not sure if you are still looking for an answer but:
SAP Fiori: A collection of applications written using the SAPUI5
framework and Fiori x.0 guidelines. Applications can be
containerized for use on mobile devices in addition to browsers. (Link)
SAP Mobilizer: A Java-based platform with applications for Banking,
Mobile Money, Wallet etc. The platform provides a mobile enabled app for mobile money, wallet, account management etc. alongside a customer portal.
Honeywell Movilizer: A field - orchestration product for managing
equipment. I'm not sure of their mobile offerings. (Link)

Hope that helps.

What is the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 iPhone app custom url scheme?

Currently we're using two web applications in our sales process, one to create quotes and one to create customers and contacts. Both apps have been built as a HTML5 web application, hosted in Safari on an iPhone.
We're thinking of using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 for the creation of customers and contacts, thus replacing the previous app. We'd like to use the iPhone app for that.
When the users want to create a quote for a new customer it should be possible to start the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 iPhone app from within the quote app and direct the user straight to the CRM iPhone app (and preferably the screen were a user can add a customer).
I know it is possible to start native apps straight from Safari (see Opening Native App. from Safari).
However, I can't find any information about a custom url scheme for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 iPhone app and would be very happy if anyone could direct me to more information about ways to implement this. Thanks in advance for any information!
As far as I know there is no custom uri scheme support in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM mobile apps, at least I haven't been able to find any information about it.
There is a way to find the custom uri scheme from an ipa file as described here: How can I extract the Custom URL Scheme from a .ipa file?, maybe you can try that.

iCloud for web application

Has Apple provided public API for web applications?
I want to build an application which will be similar to dropbox.
I want the user to be able to manage files and edit them from their devices (iphone/ipad/mac) and from website (any browser based) too.
Is this possible now to see the list of files using iCloud API?
Thanks.
As I just stumbled across this thread while searching for a solution for iCloud contacts in my web-app, I just wanted to add that nowadays CloudKit JS seems promising for this use case. It's a bit unfortunate it needs an app on its side, but it's still better than nothing :)
Can I use iCloud API in web application?
No, Apple only provides APIs that can be used within native apps on iOS or OS X devices. There's no documented API that could be used for a browser-based interface to a user's iCloud account (some API apparently exists, since Apple uses it, but third parties do not have access).

kaazing... did anyone try it with Silverlight?

I wonder if anyone tried using Kaazing for client push with Silverlight? How did it go?
http://www.kaazing.org/confluence/display/KAAZING/What+is+Kaazing+Open+Gateway
Speaking as a representative of Kaazing:
Eikos Partners won an innovation award for their application, EPOC, which is an equity trading system running with Silverlight and Kaazing. They have screenshots of their application on their site.
Note that you need the commercial version of Kaazing Gateway to get access to Silverlight support. You can download it from here after you click on "Accept License Agreement."
You can also read up on Kaazing Gateway and Websockets here.
