I started a new rails project yesterday and everything worked fine. When I tried to run rails server or bundle install.

Bundle update is run but gem is not showing up in gem folder?

I have included gem 'actionpack' in my gemfile. I then run bundle install.
When I run 'gem list' I see 'actionpack'.
However when I go to /Users/sharatakasapu/.rbenv/versions/2.4.0/lib/ruby/gems/2.4.0 I don't see a folder for actionpack.
I keep getting this error

GEM ERROR - Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "rails" -

Getting a funky error when trying to run my Rails server.
Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "rails":
In Gemfile:
rails (~> 5.2, >= 5.2.1)
trix (~> 0.11.1) was resolved to 0.11.1, which depends on
rails (> 4.1, < 5.2)
I tried checking if it was an issue with the version in my Gemfile and make sure it's the latest, but this didn't help. Also tried installing trix by itself, and updating my version of Ruby, but no luck. Any tips on how to move from here?

It appears you're trying to use Postgres in your local environment, but your pg gem is in your production group. Bundler allows you to specify different environment groups for your gems, and you've specified that it should be used only in production. If you run bundle install it will still be installed, but it will not be required and used by the application. (You can skip installing the gems in your production group by running bundle install --without production)
If you are indeed trying to use Postgres locally, which you have not stated but I am inferring, you should move gem 'pg', '0.20.0' outside of the production group. You should also remove the sqlite3 gem, the default database adapter for new Rails projects, if you're not planning to use it.

From this = gem 'pg', '0.20.0'
To this = gem 'pg', '~> 0.20.0'
This should be an easy syntax error.
Hope it helped.
