I'm doing this tutorial
https://www.zabbix.com/integrations/postgresql#postgresql
https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/4.4/en/manual/config/templates_out_of_the_box/requirements/postgresql
When I copy the file "template_db_postgresql.conf" to "/etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.d/"
agent service doesn't work
when I remove "template_db_postgresql.conf" the agent service it works (but without getting the data)
I'm using zabbix_agent2
Service Agent error image
I don't know is the problem "template_db_postgresql.conf".
Tried expanding file permissions.
I reinstalled the agent.
The agent on postgres server does not work when this file is put.

our Nexus (Nexus3 3.38.0) is currently down and just keeps on restarting, we use docker to run nexus as a container and when we check the container logs, we get this error:
javax.validation.constraintViolationExceiption: attributes[httpclient].authentication.password: must not be blank
We got this error logs after shutting down nexus and restarting docker service.
we suspect it might be due to one of the proxy repository password field that became blank (which we usually update using curl by a jenkins job)
Can you please suggest if:
There is any workaround for this issue
Since we can’t open into nexus portal, can we fix this using backend / config files?
Is there any way to disable / delete docker proxy repository using nexus data / config files?
Any other suggestion which might help us here
When I try to link a jenkins project to my gitlab project, I have the following error :
Here is the form and the error message.
The jenkins project "test" does exists and the credentials are good.
The issue is probably not about the credentials but that gitlab seem to not be able to read the fields.
I tried with both chrome and Firefox.
I also tried to use webhook, but for services hosted on the same network, doc says it may be hazardous. So I'd rather use the first method.
Some information about my environment:
Linux Centos 7
jenkins and gitlab are built by docker-compose
hosted on localhost
jenkins and gitlab use different ports (8080 and 8081)
I found only one thread on the internet about it here but no answer were given.
Any ideas?
Thanks
This is my first post, I hope I did not make any mistake.\
Can't set up an agent on the same machine as the master node in Jenkins. The Jenkins instance is on localhost as is the agent. The main problem I'm getting is:
at
yah de yah.....
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: http://192.168.0.1:8080/
Here's what I tried:
1 - Configure agent launched via ssh, Host is http://192.168.0.1:8080/ (also tried 127.0.0.1 and localhost here but the URL in Jenkins config is as shown) with Jenkins admin password. Used 'Known host file Verification Strategy' Advanced setting uses port 22. Tried Jenkins Global Security settings with fixed port 22, 50000 and random port setting.
Also toggled Windows OpenSSH for client and server with the above combinations.
Configure agent by Connecting it to the master; other options as default. Got 'Agent is offline because Jenkins failed to launch the agent process' and got the 'Launch' button for webstart. Clicked on that; nothing happened (that I saw) but the file did appear in my downloads folder.
Copied the file to another directory, opened a command window in that directory and entered the 'headless' command shown in the window with the webstart button. Got:
Error: Unable to access jarfile agent.jar
Seems no matter what I try I can't connect to http://192.168.0.1:8080/
Is this some sort of tunneling issue where I need to expose localhost even though I'm not going over the Internet? I needed to do that to get my localhost Jenkins install to talk to GitHub.
Been reading numerous articles, watched videos - seems most of the material out there is for a 'real' use of creating agents on separate machines.
Any advice would be MOST appreciated.
I'm trying to configure the Jenkins Master/Slave on our AWS windows server. I looked at other posts and researched online and followed the steps. I installed Jenkins on the server, and changed the jenkins url to the ip address of the server by command ipconfig: http://x.x.x.x:8080/. On the Jenkins xml file, I added the line to the argument: --httpListenAddress=0.0.0.0.
I followed the online tutorial step by step guide to set up master and agent. On the agent computer, when i try to access the url, it shows This site can’t be reached. I added the port 8080 to the firewall. I also tried to ping from the agent to the master and it failed, said lost 4 100%. I am not sure how can I access jenkins master url outside of the server. Any help is appreciated.
The root cause is hidden in the comments, so for clarity posting it as an answer - looks like the problem was that the agent is running on a users laptop and it's trying to connect on a private IP of the jenkins server running in AWS. Things should hopefully work after connecting the agent on a public IP of the master instead.
My question is - to copy files to remote machines from the Drop folder, do I need that remote machine registered as an agent?
My remote machine is in the same network but still, I'm getting an ERROR to copy files.
No, it is not required to have a TFS Agent on the target server in order to copy files over to it, but you do need to have permission to write to it. See the screenshot of what I did. Notice that I am storing the credentials as variables in the build definition. The password is "locked" so no one can see the clear text password. I have the Build Agent running under the same service account that has Admin privileges on the target server, but leaving them off did not help. To test this out, try to log into the build server via RDP and then try to open file explorer and connect to the Target Server using the network path (\SomeServer\C$\SomePath\dir) and using the credentails (domain\login or just login) and see if it works, along with the password.
