Capistrano deployment - bundle exit status: 1 - ruby-on-rails

Question

I recently deployed a rails 6.1 project to AWS with capistrano, all seems to be working well but when trying to deploy a new version including pdfkit and wkhtmltopdf it breaks at the bundler:install stage and I'm struggling to make much of the error verifying the gem. Nothing I've tried everything seems to improve the situation.
I've updated the rubygems/bundler version on the server and still no luck
caused by:
