But the class is already there as part of other slf4j jars:
# grep LoggerFactory lib/*jar
Binary file lib/log4j-1.2-api-2.17.1.jar matches
Binary file lib/log4j-slf4j-impl-2.17.1.jar matches
Binary file lib/netty-all-4.1.30.Final.jar matches
I also tried adding another supported jar log4j-slf4j18-impl-2.17.1.jar
But no luck so far.

Migrating curity idsvr from log4j2 to logback

Curity is currently using log4j2 as the default logger. Is there a way to change it to logback.?
Currently I have build a custom Docker image doing the following steps. (base image used curity.azurecr.io/curity/idsvr:6.7.2 )
Replaced the log4j2.xml file with a logback.xml file with logback configuration in the path /opt/idsvr/etc/
Removed existing log4j jar files in the path /opt/idsvr/lib and replaced with logback jar files downloaded from https://logback.qos.ch/download.html
After doing above steps I launched the custom image as a container. But I got the following error messages.

Any help would be kindy appreciated. Thanks..
No, replacing Log4j with Logback is not supported. The use of Log4j runs very deep in the product, and cannot be replaced by users. I'd recommend asking another questions about the issue that led you to want to replace the ❤️ of the logging subsystem. Perhaps that has a solution that doesn't require heart surgery.

Actually there was an interface resolution problem inside the docker container which was causing this
Make sure following points for resolution :
1) Cat /etc/hosts should have entry corresponding to localhost
2) docker0 interface should be in up state

Error with bulk-loading in cassandra

Good Morning,
I'm trying to implement the massive data dump cassandra example using the bulk-loading (http://www.datastax.com/dev/blog/bulk-loading) as a guide.
In the example resolve dependencies with the script (http://www.datastax.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/DataImport) but I find that the dependencies to be covered with cassandra libraries not located in the directories listed here because the version I'm working with dse with cassandra 2.0. Well then trying to cover such dependencies get the following script.
#!/bin/sh
# paths to the cassandra source tree, cassandra jar and java
CASSANDRA_HOME="/usr/share/dse/cassandra"
# CASSANDRA_JAR="./apache-cassandra-2.0.10.jar"
JAVA=`which java`
# Java classpath. Must include:
# - directory of DataImportExample
# - directory with cassandra/log4j config files
# - cassandra jar
# - cassandra depencies jar
CLASSPATH=".:/usr/share/dse/dse.jar:./slf4j-1.7.7/slf4-nop-1.7.7.jar:./slf4j-1.7.7/slf4j-simple-1.7.7.jar:/etc/dse/cassandra"
for jar in $CASSANDRA_HOME/lib/*.jar; do
CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:$jar
done
$JAVA -ea -cp $CLASSPATH -Xmx256M \
-Dlog4j.configuration=log4j-tools.properties \
CassandraDataBulk "$#"
CASSANDRA_JAR is commented and I use "cassandra-all-2.0.8.39.jar" located in the folder "/ usr / share / dse / cassandra / lib" and is already included.
I solve slf4j dependencies downloading that in 1.7.7 version.
Due to the difference of cassandra version also I had to accustom SSTableSimpleUnsortedWriter builder.
IPartitioner partitioner = new RandomPartitioner();
SSTableSimpleUnsortedWriter sourcesWriter = new SSTableSimpleUnsortedWriter(
directory,
partitioner,
keyspace,
table,
AsciiType.instance,
null,
64
);
It seems that the problem today is that there are still dependencies.
Under, the trace error I get.
There is a dependency but it seems that being "org.apache.commons.configuration.ConfigurationRuntimeException" the real problem could be another, Could have a bad configuration "cassandra.yaml"?
Thanks,
A greeting!

You are missing a "javaagent" parameter in your java call. Add the following:
-javaagent:$CASSANDRA_HOME/lib/jamm-0.2.5.jar
Your final call should look like:
$JAVA -ea -cp $CLASSPATH -Xmx256M \
-Dlog4j.configuration=log4j-tools.properties \
-javaagent:$CASSANDRA_HOME/lib/jamm-0.2.5.jar
CassandraDataBulk "$#"
NOTE: Adjust the path to jamm.jar as necessary
Reference
As for the runtime configuration error, download apache commons 'lang' library and include it to your classpath.
Download here
If you receive NEW exceptions after implementing the fix, download google-common.jar and guava-16.0.1.jar and include them as well to your classpath. These are all of the JARs that my own bulk loader required so far.

How To Run Grails 2.4.1 With Servlet 2.5

Grails version 2.4.1 was recently released. One of the bugs fixed was restoring the ability to use servlet version 2.5. See https://jira.grails.org/browse/GRAILS-11466
I created a new grails app. Without changing anything, I was able to compile it and run it. When I changed the grails.servlet.version to "2.5", I was able to compile but when I ran it I got the the following stack trace error.
Does anyone know if there are other settings I need to change to get Grails 2.4.1 to run on a servlet 2.5 container? Specifically, tomcat 6.

This error would happen if you didn't do a grails clean prior to running Grails after changing the version to 2.5
What happens is that when the version is 3.0 Grails adds extra dependencies to the classpath that result in new behaviour being added to the compiled classes.
If you then change the version to 2.5 and just do run-app the extra dependencies are gone, but the new behaviour is still compiled into the classes. Doing a clean resolve this.
