Jenkins Rollback - jenkins

I'm new to jenkins. I wanted to know how can we rollback to previous build if the build got failed. I'm using SVN as my version control and my jenkins is installed on AWS ec2 instance. I've read a lot of articles but none of them were satisfying.
Someone please help....

Automatic creation of ticket in remedy when Jenkins pipeline deploys successfully

I am new to Jenkins and Remedy and I would like to know if any of you managed to create automatically a ticket in Remedy using Jenkins when a Jenkins pipeline deployed successfully.
If any of you knows how to or has some hints please let me know.

Jenkins multi-branch pipeline missing a branch

I have a Jenkins system. It runs build jobs for our company. We run multibranch pipelines. Yesterday one of the builds mysteriously dropped the devel branch from the build.
I looked through the Pull Requests for the branch and I can not find anything that affected by the Jenkins file in the time frame where this branch drop occurred.
I have looked through the Jenkins system log and I do not see any errors. Here is a copy of the relevant parts of the scan repository log:
Examining Bo**a/pro-***-ter
Checking branches...
Getting remote branches...
Checking branch devel
Getting remote pull requests...
Checking branch master
‘Jenkinsfile’ found
Met criteria
I have validated that the devel branch has a Jenkinsfile and that the Jenkinsfile is valid.
I can't figure out how to solve this. Any suggestions would be great.
Some plugin information:
github 1.28.0
branch 2.0.11
docker-common 1.13
docker-pipeline 1.17
git 3.6.0
git client 2.7.0
git server 1.7
SCM API 2.2.3
Jenkins version 2.73.2
I had this same problem with BitBucket Server and Jenkins when using Blue Ocean (BitBucket Server plugins). The branch would not create in Jenkins. I noticed that the branch commit and the pull request (PR) had a successful build. It seems that if Jenkins detects a PR is opened for a branch, it will not create the branch on the Jenkins side. Once I deleted the pull request from BitBucket Server, Jenkins registered the branch and it showed up. Would be better if the branch showed up, had no builds and referenced the Pull request Jenkins job!
Sorry for taking so long to answer this:
I did a plugin upgrade to the latest version of all of the plugins in my Jenkins.
That solved my issue.
I think we might found an answer (or problem causer).
In our case we automatically restarted Jenkins once a day in either in the shut down or boot up process branches went missing.
The amount of missing branches declined significantly after keeping the Jenkins running all the time.
Detected unsupported subitem repo » develop, skipping
In my case I just deleted the develop pipeline(by clicking its link on scan branch log page) and rescan, all worked.
It seems while performing scan it probably point to an obsolete hash in Git preventing Jenkins job to scan correctly.

Can Jenkins used with python project?

I'm developing a web application using python django. I want a CI service which can automatically pull the latest code from my github and run some test then deploy. I'm not familiar with CI, after searching for a while I found Jenkins seems to be a good solution. Can Jenkins be used for this?
Jenkins can be used with any project.
Regarding pulling the latest code, add the Jenkins GitHub plugin in order to be able to check "Build when a change is pushed to GitHub" under "Build Triggers".
That will launch your job on any new pushed commit on the GitHub repo.
From there, a Jenkins job can execute any command that you would do in command-line, provided the agent on which said job will be scheduled and executed has the necessary tools in its PATH (here python)
An alternative (which does not involved Jenkins) is to setup a webhook and a listener on your server which will detect a "push event" sent by said webhook.

Jenkinsfile not getting updated in jenkins workspace even though Git is updated

I am using Jenkins 2.73.2 with Blue ocean 1.3.1 in the Linux Redhat. I wanted to build maven project located at GitHub repository. I have created a JenkinsFile for a blue ocean pipeline and recently updated it with some changes which were saved successfully on GitHub repository. But when I am running the pipeline again it is still running the old JenkinsFile.
So I checked the workspace of Jenkins and found that the folder for that pipeline was not updated and has old JenkinsFile which is causing this issue. Now I am stuck and don't know where did I go wrong or what I have missed in configuration/settings?
As susmit says in a comment,
This issue got resolved when I used the option available in the jobs where we can clear the workspace before running any jobs.
to avoid this problem you can use the option "Clear Workspace before running job" available in the jobs parameters.

Jenkins & Artifactory

On a server running ubuntu 12.04 I have installed jenkins 1.532.1 and artifactory 2.6.4.
Both of then are running fine separately. I also have maven 2.
With jenkins, I can build maven java project with sources on subversion.
With maven I can use Artifactory.
The problem is with the artifactory plugin for jenkins.
I added an artifactory server with credentials. Using connection check tell me : "Found Artifactory 2.6.4". It seems to be ok.
But when I create a maven job, in post build actions, I choose Deploy artifacts to artifactory. My server is already selected in the artifactory server but nothing is available in the repositories.
What can I do. Do I have to configure something special in Artifactory ?
I had also this issue, the problem comes from a refresh of Jenkins Plugin.
To deal with that issue, you should:
open your job
add a task for artifactory
save your job
Open again your job
Now you should be able to see your repositories.
Conclusion: You should add/save and reload your job to see your list of repo of artifactory.
I also have this problem, when switching from one artifactory server to another and it looks like a bug for me.
But if I save the settings once without a "non-selectable" repository and access the configuration of the job again, the repositories will be shown.
Ok, so after a very long time I tried again and ... I don't know why but now (I'm quite sure it was not working few months ago) the solution given by aorfevre and user3424040 are working.
I have also upgraded jenkins to 1.565.1 and the artifactory plugin to 2.2.3 and now there is a Refresh Repositories button in the Deploy artifacts to Artifactory task.
For the "Generic-Artifactory Integration" I had to configure Artifactory a bit. I added a group 'deployers' and a user 'deploy' in that group. Also I added a Permission Target for the LOCAL repositories where the group was granted deploy permissions.
