How can I upload database data to Neo4j? - neo4j

Using an pan-genome building tool I've ended with a database in an unfamiliar format to me which in theory should be explorable by the Neo4j browser.
Nevertheless I can't seem to find any way to achieve so and any mention on how to do it in any bibliography besides the instructions of the manual provided by the author of said tool.
I've tried to do this using Neo4j community edition server (v. 3.5.3) with the example file same as the instructions suggest but it just doesn't seem to detect the database showing only the default one.
The mentioned part of the tutorial can be found here: https://www.bioinformatics.nl/pangenomics/manual/tutorial_part3/

So, copy the database content to the neo4j data folder. Once you have that, open the neo4j.conf file and set the following configuration:
dbms.default_database=chloroplast_DB
I am not exactly sure that is the database name, use the same name as is the database folder and then start the database.

Neo4j Desktop - Difference between Database and File?

I'm new to Neo4j. I've just opened the Desktop application. Starting a Project, the dashboard lists "Add Database" and "Add File". If data is stored in a database then what's a file? I don't get what a file does. Off hand, when I click on each (either the sample database or the sample file) they open the database browser thing so this doesn't help to understand the difference either..
You would use Add File to reference a file with a Cypher query (or series of Cypher queries).
When you open a file that you've saved here, it will open the browser window (associated with the currently running Database) and paste the file contents into the query box.
So this is a more portable way to save important queries saved in files (such as already established scripts in Cypher) that you expect to run often or reuse/test across databases.
Add Database is used to create a new database instance (technically "dbms" would be the better term, since this doesn't have to do with multi-database features in Neo4j). You can select the version of Neo4j to use for the database, and configure and manage it as needed.

How to find Couchbase Mobile DB file in iOS?

I want to find Couchbase Mobile DB file location in iOS and please also describe how to open db file?
Thanks
If you are using CBM 1.4 or earlier, you can locate the location of the cblite2 db file as discussed here
https://developer.couchbase.com/documentation/mobile/1.4/guides/couchbase-lite/native-api/manager/index.html#dude-wheres-my-database-file
To view the database , you can use CouchbaseLiteViewer which is (not officially supported ) Mac application
https://github.com/couchbaselabs/CouchbaseLiteViewer.
You could also use any sqlite browser such as http://sqlitebrowser.org to browse the sqlite content
CouchbaseLiteViewer is not updated for checking data in Cblite 2.0 , i
waiting for it so as of now following way check Cblite db data and it
will work.
Latest solution Couchbase 2.0 db check:
There is a command line tool which I believe is inside the zip file that you download to get Couchbase Lite (look in tools) called "cblite" which is similar to the sqlite command line tool. It can perform operations on a database such as listing documents, querying, etc.
Download Couchbase sdk from the website
It comes with the folder inside this, there is a folder called Tools .
Screenshots for reference :
3.Inside tools cblite is there , just launch it . now suppose i have cblite db .
Use following way to query and this tools provide you comannd terminal way to search data/document :
I tried this and it works 👍
shobhakar$ ./cblite /Downloads/mobile-travel-sample-master/ios/TravelSample/TravelSample/prebuilt/travel-sample.cblite2
Opened database /Downloads/mobile-travel-sample-master/ios/TravelSample/TravelSample/prebuilt/travel-sample.cblite2/
This is the current solution and this is awesome.

pgadmin 4: Exporting .tar file

I am trying to use pgAdmin 4 on my personal laptop (Windows operating system with PostgreSQL 9.6) to export a database as a .tar file. I had issues importing csv through the Import/Export tool as well, and could only import successfully when doing the following:
COPY public.build_info FROM 'C:\time_table.csv' CSV HEADER;
I have read a few questions that resort to backing up a database through the command line, but I am hoping to complete this within pgAdmin4.
My current steps are:
right click my database (in this case Housing_DB)
Choose my directory to save (same place the csv files were imported from)
Add additional information (encoding, file type, name, etc.)
I get an error immediately connected to Permissions, but have struggled to determine how to fix this issue:
Does anybody know how I could go through and provide permissions to be able to back up this database? I have looked at the documentation pertaining to backup/restore but did not see anything covering permissions (https://www.pgadmin.org/docs4/1.x/backup_dialog.html).
It looks like your C:\ is protected by administrator account which can't be written by user postgres. Can you try again with locations like your 'Desktop' or 'Temp' folder.

Style sheet (.grass) on the server?

I'm using Neo4j 2.2.0, community edition, installed on a server. I have been able to successfully download the .grass style sheet, modify it, then drag it back to the browser. This works great, however it only changes the style on my local machine. Seemingly the .grass file lives in the local resources of the browser.
I would like to keep my style sheet on the server & apply it to all users of my database. Can anyone guide me through how I can do this please? I couldn't see anywhere obvious in the db files or the help documentation.
The closest related question I could find is this one Edit or Create Graph Style Sheets for WebAdmin, which seems to imply that it's not really possible.
Cheers,
Andy
As of version 3.2, now you can set your own .grass file as default stylesheet for your Neo4j browser visualization. You can set the configuration in the neo4j.conf file as:
browser.post_connect_cmd=style <path to your .grass file>
More info here
Right now it's not possible automatically (except for copying / reading out the local browser storage and updating it in the other browsers).
The feature is being worked on but not ready for public usage yet.

See images in SSMS?

I was browsing around and found this blog post:
http://erikej.blogspot.com/2010/04/version-3-of-exportsqlce-now-available.html
(It is for a great add in if you user SQL Server CE.)
On that post I saw an screen shot of SSMS with images in the results.
How is this done? I have images in my database (PNG files that are serialized via memory stream), but I just see numbers when I select the image column.
If you are asking how this is done, I'm not sure how it is implemented exactly. I know that you can create ssms plugins in visual studio, and I'm sure that there is a way to take a filestream object and decode it.
If you are looking for a way for you to do this besides the plugin you mentioned, there is a great freeware plugin I use. You can find a plugin ssmsboost at http://www.ssmsboost.com. This plugin has a community version and a pro version. The only difference between the two is that the community version needs to be renewed every 120 days. This plugin has a lot of nice features, but the one you're asking for is
SSMS Results Grid Visualizers:
Feature allows to export & view files or some big amounts of text or XML data from tables (like files from document storage of sharepoint services). Required data should be simply output to ResultsGrid. By right-clicking the cell with required value and selecting "Visualize As->.." you can tell to save data to file with predefined name and open it with custom or default application. No matter than SSMS truncates long data from VARBINARY/VARCHAR fields when outputing them to ResultsGrid: SSMSBoost works with internal storage of SSMS and extracts complete cell value. Below you can see how a picture from [LargePhoto] field of [Production].[ProductPhoto] table from [AdventureWorks] database is being visualized:
I'd like to recommend the MiniSQLQuery browser that is free and opensource to achieve this.
