Convert scn to glb - ios

I am trying to covert an scn file to GLB format. I used assimp and get the following error. It is in the supported import format
param = test.glb
assimp export: select file format: 'glb2' (GL Transmission Format v. 2 (binary))
Launching asset import ... OK
Validating postprocessing flags ... OK
ERROR: Failed to load file: COB: Could not found magic id: `Caligari`
Anyway to get past this? Or would any other CLI or API help in the conversion?

Could you please open an Issue-Report on Asset-Importer-Lib with a small issue, which can be used to reproduce the issue? The COB-Format is not so stable in the Assimp and it would be great to make this more stable.
I think this issue is caused by a not correctly parsed magic-token at the beginning, which needs to get fixes.

Inp(Abaqus) mesh file conversion into .msh file via meshio

I'm using meshio to convert an .inp mesh file into compatible form for Gmsh (.msh file type).Αlthough the conversion (meshio convert input.inp output.msh) generates a .msh file, Gmsh can't read it because it appears unusual characters. Please check the attached .pnj. Does anyone have an idea or even better a solution to fix it?
thanks in advance
output.msh file
I tried to convert the .msh output file into ascii but it did not workded

error: (type 1): cannot open file for reading 'ugmm8a.pfb' in LaTeX (font depreciated)

I have been trying to compile my latex code in overleaf.com, but it keeps giving the errors as follows, and it does not point in which line of the code the error is located in:
It seems like a font issue there and here is the raw log of the error:
{/usr/local/texlive/2021/texmf-dist/fonts/enc/dvips/ly1/texnansi.enc}
! error: (type 1): cannot open file for reading 'ugmm8a.pfb'
! ==> Fatal error occurred, no output PDF file produced!
I need to solve this error to get my output document.
The urw-garamond fonts works just fine with texlive2021, you just need the ugmr8a.pfb from https://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/fonts/urw/garamond
https://www.overleaf.com/read/cmvfrqrkrnrq
(... however it might give better results not to use such a legacy font if you're already using lualatex, overleaf has many good fonts installed https://www.overleaf.com/learn/latex/Questions/Which_OTF_or_TTF_fonts_are_supported_via_fontspec%3F)
I have found the solution to this problem by myself.
Turns out the solution was just to change the Compiler (TeX Live) version of the overleaf.com project from 2021 to 2016 (since the 'ugmm8a.pfb' font got depreciated in the later version).
Hence I had to press the Menu option in the Top Left of my project, and then change the "TeX Live version" from 2021 to 2016 as shown in the screenshot below:
And after this one change when I recompiled, my document was successfully outputted without any errors.
As an additional info to people who are facing similar issues check this post by overleaf.com on how to add new fonts that do not exist on their server to your project: https://www.overleaf.com/learn/latex/XeLaTeX#Using_fonts_not_installed_on_Overleaf.27s_servers:_Google_Fonts_example

How to use HMAC in Lua - Lightroom plugin

First thing I have to mention is I'm really really new to Lua and please be patient if you think my question is too dumb
Here is my requirement
I need to use HMAC-sha256 for Lightroom plugin development as I'm using that for security.
I was trying to use this but with no luck
https://code.google.com/p/lua-files/wiki/hmac
These are the steps I followed
Got the code of
https://code.google.com/p/lua-files/source/browse/hmac.lua and saved
as 'hmac.lua' file in my plugin directory
Got the code from this
https://code.google.com/p/lua-files/source/browse/sha2.lua and saved
as 'sha2.lua' file
Now in the file I use it like this
local hmac = require'hmac'
local sha2 = require'sha2'
--somewhere doend the line inside a function
local hashvalue = hmac.sha2('key', 'message')
but unfortunately this does not work and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Can anyone advice me what I'm doing wrong here? Or is there an easier and better way of doing this with a good example.
EDIT:
I'm doing this to get the result. When I include that code the plugin does stops working. I cannot get the output string when I do this
hashvalue = hmac.sha2('key', 'message')
local LrLogger = import 'LrLogger'
myLogger = LrLogger('FlaggedFiles')
myLogger:enable("logfile")
myLogger:trace ("=========================================\n")
myLogger:trace ('Winter is coming, ' .. hashvalue)
myLogger:trace ("=========================================\n")
and the Lightroom refuses to load the plugin and there is nothing on the log as well
Thank you very much for your help
I'd first make sure your code works outside of Lightroom. It seems that HMAC module you referenced has some other dependencies: it requires "glue", "bit", and "ffi" modules. Of these, bit and ffi are binary modules and I'm not sure you will be able to load them into Lightroom (unless they are already available there). In any case, you probably won't be able to make it run in LR if you don't have required modules and can't make it run without issues outside of LR.
If you just need to get SHA256 hash there is a way to do it Lightroom
I posted my question here and was able to get an answer. But there there was no reference of this on SDK documentation (Lightroom SDK)
local sha = import 'LrDigest'
d = sha.SHA256.digest ("Hello world")
but unfortunately there was no HMAC so I decided to use md5 with a salt because this was taking too much of my time
Spent quite some time trying to find a solution :-/
LrDigest is not documented, thanks Adobe!
Solution:
local LrDigest = import "LrDigest"
LrDigest.HMAC.digest(string, 'SHA256', key)

erl_tar can't extract files made with make_tar

I'm putting a release file together, which seems to work fine
1> systools:make_tar("rel/project-1.0").
ok
at that point, I get the expected file at rel/project-1.0.tar.gz, however, trying to extract it errors for some reason
2> erl_tar:extract("rel/project-1.0.tar.gz").
{error,bad_header}
Trying to extract the same file with tar from shell, or with the equivalent os:cmd/1 call, works fine. What's going wrong here?
The archive is gzip compressed (notice the .gz extension). You will need to use extract/2 and provide the compressed option:
erl_tar:extract("rel/project-1.0.tar.gz", [compressed]);

Convert sxw to rml error

When I try to convert sxw file to rml file using OpenOffice , this error occurs :
Exception: 'asci' codec can't encode character u'\xe9'
what's the meaning of that error? and how can I fix it?
please check this link UnicodeEncodeError when trying to convert Django models to XML This is the same issue that we got here.
You can use yourfield.encode("utf-8") or use format() in openerp. [[format(obj.your_str_field or '')]]
We have Similar issues posted on lp: https://bugs.launchpad.net/openobject-server/+bug/956798
and it has been fixed on linked branch you can take the patch apply, which will make your report to tolerate the Unicode encoding.
Thank You
