I have been working on an app to submit to the apple app store. It is almost finished, however, I am experiencing a bit of confusion on integrating admob in my final submission. I have tested the app and confirmed that the admob service work with the admob test codes. However, I see in admob that I need to link my ad units to an app in the app store already in the store order for it to work. But, I need the ads need to be working when I submit my app for review in order for apple to accept the app and allow it onto the app store. So how should I proceed?
A few days ago, my app was published on the app store. At the development stage, I added an advertisement in the form of a regular banner. With the test identifier, the test ad was displayed successfully. But with a real identifier, the app was showing a blank banner. I read that in iOS apps with real identifiers , Ads are not shown until publication in App Store. But even a few days after the publication, the advertisement is still not shown. How to fix it?enter image description here
Google Admob was having some trouble lately, but normally it must take around 1~2 days for the ads to be provided and it always depending on the user location, and check in the phone settings if the Ad limitations are disabled.
Until you link the app from the AppStore in the app settings within abmob, the ads will not be shown. Normally Google takes about 7-10 days from the publication in the AppStore, to allow you to select the app from the AppStore within the admob settings, but in my case, with my last application it has already been 2 weeks and it still does not appear.
Take a look at https://developers.google.com/admob/ios/ios14.
You may need to add SKAdNetworkItems key to your app's .plist.
I implemented a Admob banner ad in my app while in development and it worked perfectly as I tested it with Googles test id and I tested it with my own id which worked but once I published it on the App Store devices that downloaded my app do not display the ad. My personal phone which I set as a test device on Admobs website displays the ad. Since I published the app about 3 days ago I I have recieved 100 Admob network requests which doesn't make sense as an ad is not displayed. I have researched everywhere and haven't found a solution as of yet.
I have the same problem. It could be that Admob is not recognizing the AppID or is thinking that the AppID has a problem. I am planning to create a new AppID and Ads Id and re-publish to the App Store.
It eventually displayed ads once I was able to link my app to the Admob website, so I guess it was just a waiting game.
My app is ready for sale on the App Store but, on the Google AdMob I can't link my App as it says it will take a few days before it is showed up on the the list at Google AdMob. I wanted to ask whether I can still distribute my app to people and still see the ad analytics. Or will it affect the my ad earnings if I don't link it with my iOS app? Also it won't lead to blocking of my Google AdMob account right? Thanks for the help!
I was trying to submit my updated version of app for review. The problem is, I have included Admob Ads (Google Mobile Ads SDK) in this build. will it affect my app ratings? i already have 4+ ratings for my app. i have a dilemma whether to check or uncheck Unrestricted web access in the ratings section. it goes between 4+ and 17+ ..
