Google Assistant not working after integration with IFTTT

I connected IFTTT with Google Assistant in order to test some custom commands.
The idea was to tell the assistant:
Ok Google, this is, John
And I wanted the Assistant to reply, saying:
Hi John, nice to meet you!
Note: this is an example of the command I created. As I said before the original command was deleted (around November 2018) in IFTTT the same day I disconnected my account from the service.
It worked as expected but then I noticed that all the core commands were replaced by the custom command created in IFTTT.
For example, simple commands like:
Ok Google, what time is it?
Returned:
Hello what time is it, nice to meet you!
Since then (November 2018) I have tried all sort of things:
I have deleted the custom commands in IFTTT
I have disconnected IFTTT from my Google Assistant Account
Deleted the cache in Google App in my android handset
Delete the history of voice commands at https://myactivity.google.com
Restored Google Home device to factory settings
Looked into https://developers.google.com/actions/ to see if there was a way to DEBUG or RESTORE my Assistant. Unfortunately this only allows me to create apps to be used with the Assistant.
But nothing seems to fully restore the Assistant's behaviour to where it was before the integration with IFTTT.
Update: After all the things I have tried it seems to be improved (although not totally fixed).
I mean, now it does not reply with the custom command created in IFTTT but instead it replies saying Sorry I cannot process that request
For example, when asking simple commands like thew the following:
Ok Google, what time is it?
Ok Google, what day is today?
Ok Google, what can you do?
It replies saying:
Sorry I cannot process that request.
This only happen in the language I created the custom command for. If I ask the same question in another language it works fine.
Also, this only happen in the Google Account I used to created the custom commands. If I create a new Google Account and activate the Assistant in there it works fine in any language.
Same issue reported in Google forums
https://support.google.com/assistant/thread/252800?hl=en
https://support.google.com/assistant/thread/662913?msgid=662913
So here are the questions:
Is there a way to DEBUG/Fix this issue? (apart from creating a new Google Account which is my last resource)
Is there a way to restore the Google Assistant to its defaults?
Update2: I recently noticed (maybe I am going mad) that if I replace the word what with something else, the commands actually work.
For example if I say:
Ok Google, what time is it tell me the actual time?
Ok Google, what day is today which day is today?
Ok Google, what can you do how can you help me?
I get the right response from the assistant.

Branch.io Generate the link at web end and then retrieve in app

Looking to integrate the branch.io in such a way that the admin gets the deep link at web end where he adds the content. And then he manually post the link to some social media say Twitter,Facebook etc. then user clicks on that link and it will take the user to app or app store.
Is it possible, please guide how to handle this. I am quite confused about branch.io. As far i understood branch.io creates the link send via sms and user clicks and gets redirected to app or app store. Is my requirement valid? How to achieve this please guide. Already spent more than a half day on it.
(Full disclosure: I am on the Branch.io team)
This is actually a very common Branch use case, so it's fairly straight forward to implement.
1. Sign up for Branch
Easy step!
2. Integrate the SDK into your app
This is a fairly simple process that should take less than half an hour, and the latest step-by-step docs for doing this are always at the link above. I won't include the full instructions in this answer because Apple creates new roadblocks fairly regularly, and we often have to make small tweaks to the guide.
After you complete this step, any time a user opens a Branch link associated with your app, either your app will launch (if installed) or that user will be sent to the App Store page to download it.
3. Create your marketing link
The link above takes you to the Branch dashboard. From that page, you can create a new Marketing Link, and use the Deep Link Data section to specify a key/value pair. For example, you can set a key of content and assign it the value mycustomvalue:
When your app launches after a user opens this link, the content : mycustomvalue pair will be magically returned to you.
4. Configure Deep Link Routing and Universal Links.
These methods are what actually call back to the Branch API every time your app opens, returning the content : mycustomvalue pair that you encoded in the link. You can do whatever you like with these values, but here are two common approaches:
Route the user to the content that you specify corresponds to mycustomvalue.
Use the values directly to display something customized (for example, if you encoded content : You've been sent a special invitation!
5. Share the link wherever you like!
The link you created can be put anywhere. Email, Twitter, Facebook, paid Google Ads, etc.

Do iOS App Short Links Take a While to Activate?

I know that once your app is ready for sale, it can take a while to propagate to all of Apple's servers. Is the same thing true of short links of the form http://appstore.com/myapp?
I can find my application on the store through search, and it can be downloaded. Direct links using the Application ID lead to the app perfectly. However, using the short link created following the directions here gives me an "Item not Found" error.
My app has been up for about 7 hours. This is rather important, because I use the short link from within the app to invite new users.
Thanks in advance!
It seems that it does indeed take a few hours for Apple to link the short URL to the full one. In my case, it took 12 hours.

How to track User Conversion Rate by iTunes Affiliate Link within an iOS App

Given the following scenario:
An affiliate link is clicked to route the user to the iTunes App Store
Shouldn't matter if the link is clicked on the device itself or on a Mac/PC.
(Whereas the links are those links from LinkShare for instance)
The app is then being installed on an iOS device.
As soon as the user starts a certain action (for example buying in-app-purchases), this action will be logged together with the original Id of the affiliate ID, which made the user install the app.
The goal is to be able to track "converting users" (aka conversion rates) in dependance of the affiliate. Example: "60% of the users brought by Affiliate XY converted from non-paying to paying users".
What would be the best practice to achieve the above?
Pretty much every campaign analytic service should allow you to set this up just fine. One I know for sure does as I set it up last week for a project is
AppsFlyer: Mobile Apps Installation & Conversion Tracking
In issue 101 of iosdevweekly there was a Tapstream promotion so I took a look at that and they look like they'd do the job fine as well:
Tapstream: App Marketing, Unified.
If neither of those look perfect, here's a bunch of other competitors you can check out too.

Submitting Open Graph action: not authentic Open Graph story

I'm trying to submit an Open Graph action ('share') with an Object ('post') and have been asked to supply screenshots of the published story on the test user's timeline.
When performing the action, this is posted to the timeline:
and when clicking on the time ('2 minutes ago' etc) this view:
I have been told by the submissions team that this is not an authentic open graph story and they are unwilling to help beyond referring me here. So I have no idea what exactly they mean by 'not authentic' or what exactly is wrong.
Could anybody shed any light on this?
(tagged iOS as I'm performing the action from an iOS app - but the same thing happens via JS - but I need to use a non-fb tag)
Many thanks,
Jon
I believe that the issue here is that the "Share" verb is already used by Facebook to mean a specific thing so it is disallowed as an Open Graph verb. Perhaps you could come up with a different verb? Are you sharing this to Facebook or only with in the scope of your app? If you are sharing to Facebook via the APIs or dialogs then Facebook will automatically create a share story.
