iOS Local Biometric authentication dialogue called again and again - ios

Below is my code. When ever I run this code and validate the app using TouchID, TouchID Authentication dialog is dismissed and viewDidLoad() is called again which in turn shows the TouchID alert again. So I am not able to leave this page and stuck in a loop. Any help would be appreciated.
Note: Same code was working fine 2 days ago.
override func viewDidLoad() {
super.viewDidLoad()
initialSetup()
checkAuthenticationMethod()
}
private func checkAuthenticationMethod() {
let biometricsEnabled = UserDefaults.standard.bool(forKey: LocalDefaults.biometricsEnabled.rawValue)
if biometricsEnabled {
OperationQueue.main.addOperation {
self.setupLocalAuthentication()
}
}
}
private func setupLocalAuthentication() {
var error: NSError?
context.localizedCancelTitle = "Login using your PIN"
if context.canEvaluatePolicy(.deviceOwnerAuthenticationWithBiometrics, error: &error) {
if let err = error {
self.showAlert(message: err.localizedDescription, withTitle: "Error", willViewPop: false)
}else {
self.localAuthenticationMessage.isHidden = false
context.evaluatePolicy(.deviceOwnerAuthenticationWithBiometrics, localizedReason: "Unlock App") { (success, error) in
DispatchQueue.main.async { [weak self] in
self?.view.isUserInteractionEnabled = !success
if success {
self?.showHUDLoader(containerView: nil,message: "Logging in", enableInteraction: false)
self?.pinImage.image = UIImage(named: "PIN_4")
self?.updateUserLoginToken()
}else if let err = error {
self?.pinImage.image = UIImage(named: "PIN_0")
let errorCode = (err as NSError).code
if errorCode != -4 {
self?.localAuthenticationMessage.isHidden = true
}
}
}
}
}
}
}

google sign in sign in flow canceled iOS

I'm writing an iOS app that has to use google sign in. It compiles fine but when it runs and I try to sign in with a button, the sign in flow is interrupted:
This is the error: Optional("The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.google.GIDSignIn error -4.)")
error with signing in: Optional(Error Domain=com.google.GIDSignIn Code=-5 "The user canceled the sign-in flow." UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=The user canceled the sign-in flow.})
In the simulator, when I press the button, it will show the dialog box asking whether it is ok for the app to access google and then it will just disappear after a second or two.
Here is my ViewController:
//
// ViewController.swift
// frcscout
//
// Created by Elliot Scher on 12/20/22..
//
import UIKit
import GoogleSignIn
import GTMSessionFetcher
import GoogleAPIClientForREST

print("Issues with signing in...")
}
}
}
#IBAction func signInPressed(_ sender: UIButton) {

Can anyone help me fix this? Thanks!!

Firebase email verification always return false user not verified. iOS

I am implementing firebase email verification, but when user received an email it's redirecting to app which is fine. When I am trying to sign in with verified email Auth.auth().currentUser?.isEmailVerified always return false. Below is my code:
class ViewController: UIViewController {
#IBOutlet weak var emailTextField: UITextField!
#IBOutlet weak var signInBtn: UIButton!
var link: String!
override func viewDidLoad() {
super.viewDidLoad()
if let link = UserDefaults.standard.value(forKey: "Link") as? String{
self.link = link
signInBtn.isEnabled = true
}
}
override func touchesBegan(_ touches: Set<UITouch>, with event: UIEvent?) {
self.view.endEditing(true)
}
#IBAction func didTapSignInWithEmailLink(_ sender: AnyObject) {
if let email = self.emailTextField.text {
Auth.auth().signIn(withEmail: email, link: self.link) { (user, error) in
if let error = error {
print("\(error.localizedDescription)")
return
}
}
} else {
print("Email can't be empty")
}
print(Auth.auth().currentUser?.email)
if Auth.auth().currentUser?.isEmailVerified == true {
print("User verified")
} else {
print("User not verified")
}
}
#IBAction func didTapSendSignInLink(_ sender: AnyObject) {
if let email = emailTextField.text {
let actionCodeSettings = ActionCodeSettings()
actionCodeSettings.url = URL(string: "https://example.firebaseapp.com")
// The sign-in operation has to always be completed in the app.
actionCodeSettings.handleCodeInApp = true
actionCodeSettings.setIOSBundleID(Bundle.main.bundleIdentifier!)
actionCodeSettings.setAndroidPackageName("com.example.android",
installIfNotAvailable: false, minimumVersion: "12")
Auth.auth().sendSignInLink(toEmail: email, actionCodeSettings: actionCodeSettings) { error in
if let error = error {
print("\(error.localizedDescription)")
return
}
print("Check your email for link")
}
} else {
print("Email cant be empty")
}
}
override func didReceiveMemoryWarning() {
super.didReceiveMemoryWarning()
// Dispose of any resources that can be recreated.
}
}
I've found the solution we need to reload the user, which will update the current user status. Call Auth.auth.currentUser.reload in didTapSignInWithEmailLink button func:
Auth.auth().currentUser?.reload(completion: { (error) in
if error == nil{
if let email = self.emailTextField.text {
Auth.auth().signIn(withEmail: email, link: self.link) { (user, error) in
if let error = error {
print("\(error.localizedDescription)")
return
}
}
} else {
print("Email can't be empty")
}
print(Auth.auth().currentUser?.email)
if Auth.auth().currentUser?.isEmailVerified == true {
print("User verified")
} else {
print("User not verified")
}
} else {
print(error?.localizedDescription)
}
})

CXCallObserver is not working properly and App getting crash when running the app more than one (when includes contacts image data)

I am facing two major problem first one is :
1. I am trying to detect incoming call, outgoing call , dialing call for this i am using this code :
import UIKit
import CoreTelephony
import CallKit
class ViewController: UIViewController,CXCallObserverDelegate {
let callObserver = CXCallObserver()
var seconds = 0
var timer = Timer()
override func viewDidLoad() {
super.viewDidLoad()
callObserver.setDelegate(self, queue: nil)
}
override func viewWillAppear(_ animated: Bool) {
print("viewWillAppear \(seconds)")
}
fileprivate func runTimer(){
timer = Timer.scheduledTimer(timeInterval: 1, target: self, selector: #selector(self.updateTimer), userInfo: nil, repeats: true)
}
func updateTimer() {
seconds += 1
print("Seconds \(seconds)")
}
#IBAction func callButton(_ sender: UIButton) {
if let url = URL(string: "tel://\(12345879)"){
UIApplication.shared.open(url, options: [:], completionHandler: nil)
}
}
func callObserver(_ callObserver: CXCallObserver, callChanged call: CXCall) {
if call.hasEnded == true {
print("Disconnected")
seconds = 0
self.timer.invalidate()
}
if call.isOutgoing == true && call.hasConnected == false {
print("Dialing call")
self.runTimer()
}
if call.isOutgoing == false && call.hasConnected == false && call.hasEnded == false {
print("Incoming")
}
if call.hasConnected == true && call.hasEnded == false {
print("Connected")
}
}
}
It working fine when i am dialing a number it shows "Dialling" but when i cut the call then it shows "Disconnected" then again "Dialing" State.
Another problem is when i am fetching all contacts information from the device it works fine when i am not fetching imageData but when i am fetching contacts image it works fine for the very first time . Then if i run it again app become slow . then next it crash shows found nil while unwrapping a value.
i wrote my contact data fetching function in AppDelegate . it is calling when the app start . this is the code :
func fetchContactList(){
let loginInformation = LoginInformation()
var contactModelData: [ContactsModel] = []
var profileImage : UIImage?
let store = CNContactStore()
store.requestAccess(for: .contacts, completionHandler: {
granted, error in
guard granted else {
let alert = UIAlertController(title: "Can't access contact", message: "Please go to Settings -> MyApp to enable contact permission", preferredStyle: .alert)
alert.addAction(UIAlertAction(title: "OK", style: .default, handler: nil))
self.window?.rootViewController?.present(alert, animated: true, completion: nil)
return
}
let keysToFetch = [CNContactFormatter.descriptorForRequiredKeys(for: .fullName),CNContactPhoneNumbersKey, CNContactEmailAddressesKey, CNContactPostalAddressesKey, CNContactImageDataKey, CNContactImageDataAvailableKey,CNContactThumbnailImageDataKey,CNContactThumbnailImageDataKey] as [Any]
let request = CNContactFetchRequest(keysToFetch: keysToFetch as! [CNKeyDescriptor])
var cnContacts = [CNContact]()
do {
try store.enumerateContacts(with: request){
(contact, cursor) -> Void in
cnContacts.append(contact)
}
} catch let error {
NSLog("Fetch contact error: \(error)")
}
for contact in cnContacts {
let fullName = CNContactFormatter.string(from: contact, style: .fullName) ?? "No Name"
var phoneNumberUnclean : String?
var labelofContact : String?
var phoneNumberClean: String?
for phoneNumber in contact.phoneNumbers {
if let number = phoneNumber.value as? CNPhoneNumber,
let label = phoneNumber.label {
let localizedLabel = CNLabeledValue<CNPhoneNumber>.localizedString(forLabel: label)
print("fullname \(fullName), localized \(localizedLabel), number \(number.stringValue)")
phoneNumberUnclean = number.stringValue
labelofContact = localizedLabel
}
}
if let imageData = contact.imageData {
profileImage = UIImage(data: imageData)
print("image \(String(describing: UIImage(data: imageData)))")
} else {
profileImage = UIImage(named: "user")
}
self.contactModelData.append(ContactsModel(contactName: fullName, contactNumber:phoneNumberUnclean!, contactLabel: labelofContact!, contactImage: profileImage!, contactNumberClean: phoneNumberUnclean!))
}
self.loginInformation.saveContactData(allContactData: self.contactModelData)
})
}
I have solved this two problems using this :
for number one when i disconnect a call then if unfortunately it goes to "Dialling" option again i checked the "seconds" variable's value if it greater than 0 in "Dialing" then invalidate the thread.
for number two problem :
I used Dispatch.async.main background thread and take the thumbnail image

App is performing segue automatically (Swift 2.0, Firebase 3)

Been smashing my face against the wall all day trying to upgrade my app to the Firebase 3.x code.
I was having a ton of trouble with updating my original userAuth code and decided to just start from scratch. I haven't really been able to test it though because when I run the app it is calling the segue immediately upon loading the initial VC. Obviously I don't want it to do this and I don't know what is causing it.
I've tried deleting the app from the simulator and when I load it back up I get the same result.
Here is my code for the VC:
import UIKit
import FirebaseAuth
class SignInViewController: UIViewController {
#IBOutlet weak var emailField: UITextField!
#IBOutlet weak var passwordField: UITextField!
override func viewDidAppear(animated: Bool) {
if let user = FIRAuth.auth()?.currentUser {
self.signedIn(user)
}
}
#IBAction func didTapSignIn(sender: AnyObject) {
// Sign In with credentials.
let email = emailField.text
let password = passwordField.text
FIRAuth.auth()?.signInWithEmail(email!, password: password!) { (user, error) in
if let error = error {
print(error.localizedDescription)
return
}
self.signedIn(user!)
}
}
#IBAction func didTapSignUp(sender: AnyObject) {
let email = emailField.text
let password = passwordField.text
FIRAuth.auth()?.createUserWithEmail(email!, password: password!) { (user, error) in
if let error = error {
print(error.localizedDescription)
return
}
self.setDisplayName(user!)
}
}
func setDisplayName(user: FIRUser) {
let changeRequest = user.profileChangeRequest()
changeRequest.displayName = user.email!.componentsSeparatedByString("#")[0]
changeRequest.commitChangesWithCompletion(){ (error) in
if let error = error {
print(error.localizedDescription)
return
}
self.signedIn(FIRAuth.auth()?.currentUser)
}
}
#IBAction func didRequestPasswordReset(sender: AnyObject) {
let prompt = UIAlertController.init(title: nil, message: "Email:", preferredStyle: UIAlertControllerStyle.Alert)
let okAction = UIAlertAction.init(title: "OK", style: UIAlertActionStyle.Default) { (action) in
let userInput = prompt.textFields![0].text
if (userInput!.isEmpty) {
return
}
FIRAuth.auth()?.sendPasswordResetWithEmail(userInput!) { (error) in
if let error = error {
print(error.localizedDescription)
return
}
}
}
prompt.addTextFieldWithConfigurationHandler(nil)
prompt.addAction(okAction)
presentViewController(prompt, animated: true, completion: nil);
}
func signedIn(user: FIRUser?) {
MeasurementHelper.sendLoginEvent()
AppState.sharedInstance.displayName = user?.displayName ?? user?.email
AppState.sharedInstance.photoUrl = user?.photoURL
AppState.sharedInstance.signedIn = true
NSNotificationCenter.defaultCenter().postNotificationName(Constants.NotificationKeys.SignedIn, object: nil, userInfo: nil)
performSegueWithIdentifier(Constants.Segues.SignInToFp, sender: nil)
}
}
Can someone please help? Thank you in advance.

Facebook Login Swift

I wrote a basic Swift Class for Facebook login handling.
I want to check if the user already authorised the App, because in my case, the user gets asked everytime if he authorises the app - it switches to safari everytime instead of simply logging in. Sometimes the login completely fails - no error message, but also no success.
Here is my code:
class FacebookLogin{
private var data : NSMutableData? = nil
init(){
}
let facebookReadPermissions = ["public_profile", "email", "user_friends"]
func loginToFacebookWithSuccess(successBlock: () -> (), andFailure failureBlock: (NSError?) -> ()) {
if FBSDKAccessToken.currentAccessToken() != nil {
return
}
FBSDKLoginManager().logInWithReadPermissions(self.facebookReadPermissions, handler: { (result:FBSDKLoginManagerLoginResult!, error:NSError!) -> Void in
if error != nil {
// Process error
FBSDKLoginManager().logOut()
failureBlock(error)
} else if result.isCancelled {
// Handle cancellations
FBSDKLoginManager().logOut()
failureBlock(nil)
} else {
// If you ask for multiple permissions at once, you
// should check if specific permissions missing
var allPermsGranted = true
let grantedPermissions = Array(result.grantedPermissions).map( {"\($0)"} )
for permission in self.facebookReadPermissions {
if !contains(grantedPermissions, permission) {
allPermsGranted = false
break
}
}
if allPermsGranted {
// Do work
let fbToken = result.token.tokenString
let fbUserID = result.token.userID
println(fbUserID)
successBlock()
} else {
//The user did not grant all permissions requested
failureBlock(nil)
}
}
})
}
func login() -> Void{
if(self.alreadyLoggedIn() == false){
self.performLogin()
}else{
self.getFBUserData()
}
}
private func performLogin() -> Void {
let fbLoginManager : FBSDKLoginManager = FBSDKLoginManager();
fbLoginManager.loginBehavior = FBSDKLoginBehavior.SystemAccount
println(FBSDKAccessToken.currentAccessToken())
fbLoginManager.logInWithReadPermissions(["email"], handler: { (result, error) -> Void in
if (error == nil){
var fbloginresult : FBSDKLoginManagerLoginResult = result
if(fbloginresult.grantedPermissions.contains("email"))
{
self.getFBUserData()
fbLoginManager.logOut()
}
}
})
}
private func alreadyLoggedIn() -> Bool {
if (FBSDKAccessToken.currentAccessToken() != nil)
{
return true
}else{
return false
}
}
private func getFBUserData() -> Void{
if((FBSDKAccessToken.currentAccessToken()) != nil){
FBSDKGraphRequest(graphPath: "me", parameters: ["fields": "id, name, first_name, last_name, picture.type(large), email"]).startWithCompletionHandler({ (connection, result, error) -> Void in
if (error == nil){
println(result)
}
})
}
}
}
Thanks
In your view controller viewDidLoad() you can add this code :
if (FBSDKAccessToken.currentAccessToken() == nil)
{
// User is not already logged
println("No Logged")
}
else
{
// User is already logged
println("Already Logged")
}
