Google Analytics HTTPS Status -1 - ios

I want to implement Google Analytics in my existing native iOS Application which is written in Swift. My Client company hasn't approved Firebase officially, so they're asking me to use Google Analytics only. For this, they provided tracking ID only. When I implement it, using this document https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/ios/v3 I receive HTTP Status -1 instead of HTTP 200.
My question is, is it possible to implement GA functionality in native iOS without Google-Analytics.plist file ?? If yes, what's the solution ??

Create a playlist with Spotify iOS SDK in Swift 5

Question says it all. I'm trying to interact with getting/creating/editing playlists using the Spotify iOS SDK in Swift 5. I can't find any documentation about it at all and all the other Stackoverflow questions I find are a few years old or not relevant. I'm using the SPTAppRemote, but I've got a feeling that I can't interact with playlists using this class?
The best way I found to interact with playlists and API endpoints was to use the access_token you receive from logging in and then sending regular API requests to the Web API with that token. It seems like the iOS SDK is more for authentication and playback while the Web API is used for manipulating playlists, searching, etc.

Google Voice via OAuth2.0

My goal is to retrieve Google Voice voicemail audio messages and download them.
On May 27, 2015 - Google permanently disabled the ClientLogin API for Google Voice and encouraged migration to OAuth2.0.
I created a project in the Google Developers Console, but I was unable to identify the API that should be used. I am not alone (Google voice PHP OAuth 2.0).
It seems unlikely to me that Google would permanently disable the Google Voice ClientLogin API without having a working solution available -
especially since they deprecated the GV ClientLogin API more than 2 years ago and left it available for use for so long afterwards.
After further research, I discovered that the GMail API permits downloading of attachments.
Theoretically, if I set Google Voice to forward all Voicemails to GMail, I could download the audio file using the GMail API
(gmail.users.messages.attachments.get).
NOTE: I am not certain that this will work! I worry it may not because when you click on Play Message in Gmail, it forwards to the Google Voice
page - where you can choose to download the message. It seems this approach may result in needing a Google Voice API as well.
How are we supposed to retrieve Google Voice voicemail audio messages and download them using OAuth2.0?
I own a Google Voice app for Windows 8 (GVoice) which very recently broke due to the removal of ClientLogin. From my research it looks like there is now no longer a programmatic way to authenticate to Google Voice. ClientLogin is gone, and Google Voice is not a select-able API in Google's (OAuth) Developer Console.
I'm going to interpret this question as "how do I programmatically access Google Voice now that the ClientLogin service is no longer available?"
My app uses the unofficial google-voice-java API, and that API also broke in June 2015 when the ClientLogin service stopped working.
I was able to get it working again by having it log in using a different method, but not with OAuth 2.0. See the comment thread for issue 60 (see comments 6 and 9 in particular) for an outline of the solution.

Google Directions API failing to return results in iOS

I’m trying to use Google Directions API. I have the SDK all set up. I have enabled Google Maps SDK for iOS under the Services in the developer console. Below is the URL I've built to get the directions.
There are two types of keys in the developer console.
First I tried with the Key for iOS apps.
https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/directions/json?origin=-37.814107,144.96328&destination=-31.953004,115.857469&key=<Key for iOS apps>
But I got the error This IP, site or mobile application is not authorized to use this API key.
When I searched for a solution to this error I saw in a few StackOverflow answers (1, 2) that iOS keys are not supported. In the answers they're talking about the Google Places API but I thought it might be the same case with Directions because the error was the same.
So I replaces the Key for iOS apps with Key for browser apps and ran it again but I got a new error This API project is not authorized to use this API. Please ensure that this API is activated in the APIs Console.
My question is are there any other APIs I have to activate in the Services to get this working? These are the other map related Google APIs in the list.
The API "Google Maps SDK for iOS" - it is only for integrating the "Google Maps SDK"...
If you want to “use” Directions.. you have to “activate” in the Google console: "Directions API” , too developers.google.com/maps/documentation/directions
Happy coding!
Are you using
https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/ios/ also there is a nice documentation there.
Yes you need to activate the IOS Maps SDK in the google api center when you log in

iOS apps and Google Geocoding API

I'd like to make use of the Google Geocoding Json api (http://maps.google.com/maps/api/geocode/json?address=%#&sensor=false) in my iOS app, but I don´t find if the use of this URL has any restrictions and/or this may be rejected when submitted to App Store.
Thanks in advance
There are some restrictions, read the documentation in particular the Usage Limits and Maps API Terms of Service License Restrictions.
This would not be a problem for the app store. Apple does not restrict what geocode service you can use.
First thing I noticed is you are using Non-secure URL to access google geocode API, which will give no data from Google side.
Second thing, Apple has rollout some guideline during WWDC 2016 to use always secure URL if you want to access it withing from APP please check out the link so there are chances about maybe they found you are using non-secure link to communicate with web service, and your application will be rejected from Apple.
We are using Google GeoCode and reverse Geocode API within Unity using C# HTTPWebRequest class with the Secure link. our app pass out through Apple Review

Is Google Cross-client Auth possible with iOS, and if so, how?

I'm using oAuth2, and I have a project in my google API console with an iOS client and a Web client registered.
I'd like to auth in from my iOS app, and have my web backend retrieve an access token so it can do the heavy processing work with the Google api.
I've tried following these instructions which are for android: https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/CrossClientAuth
But I keep getting an invalid scope when I assign the scope as:
oauth2:server:client_id:MY.WEB.CLIENT.ID:api_scope:http://www.google.com/m8/feeds/ https://mail.google.com/ https://www.googleapis.com/auth/plus.login
Anyone successfully implement a similar set up for iOS? If so please explain or share documentation? What libraries or SDKs did you use to get the code from google on the iOS app that the web backend could use to generate a proper access token of it's own?
As of June 18th, the google iOS SDK 1.7.0 supports one-time authorization code which is consistent with the Android feature: https://developers.google.com/+/release-notes/
