Twilio Autopilot - Field Values are cumulative? - twilio

I'm exploring Twilio Autopilot. I trained a task with an annotated field to collect the user's first name. However it seems like every time I submit a request to this task, the new first name just gets added to an array. E.g. I have the sample set up as something like:
Hi there, my name is {first_name}.
If I submit it 3 times like this:
Hi there, my name is Frank.
Hi there, my name is Bill.
Hi there, my name is Jim.
By the third time, it is submitting an array of [Frank,Bill,Jim] for the Field_first_name_Value request parameter.
Is there any way to configure it so we overwrite the value every time we submit the field?

At the moment, there is no way to configure it so the value is overwritten each time the field is submitted. I've passed this on to the product team as a feature request!

jira createmeta not showing all customfields

If I navigate to /rest/api/2/issue/createmeta/PROJ/issuetype/N (in this case, I'm getting Task), the list of fields returned is incomplete. There are a number of customfields that are in use (I can see them both in the tickets themselves, and also in /plugins/servlet/project-config/PROJ/fields ) that are in the createmeta data.
I'm really trying to do this in python jira, where I'm using "expand='projects.issuetypes.fields'" in the createmeta() call, but I figured I'd double-check the results in the rest API directly, and I'm getting the same results there, too.
This is happening in jira 8.20.7.
Essentially, what I'm trying to do, is to programatically get a name/id mapping of all fields in the ticket type. I'm having far more difficulty doing that than I thought there would be. I would do it based on /rest/api/2/field but the jira admins have allowed some duplicated names...
EDIT: I realized that it might be worth noting that some of the fields I'm looking for are coming from a ServiceDesk form, although, as far as I can tell, there's no way to determine that, since one of the missing fields contains the name of the form.
Why are you using createmeta endpoint?
Instead of that, in order to get all of the customfields and their values; just note their id and get the values from /rest/api/2/issue/{issueKey} endpoint.
When you send a GET request to /rest/api/2/issue/{issueKey} endpoint, you will get a JSON object which contains "fields" object in it.
And using the "fields" you can determine all of the values that include system fields (description, assignee, etc.) and custom fields (like customfield_<customfieldid>).
And for a general approach, you may want to look at the field types in that response.

Zapier - Zap, How to call an Action on a list one by one

I'm configuring a zap which does the following:
Get a list of emails from an API endpoint.
Subscribe each record to Mailchimp
My problem here is that the subscriber email takes in a list of emails and this returns the following error message:
Bargle. We hit an error creating a subscriber. :-( Error: Invalid
Resource - Please provide a valid email address.
This is because Mailchimp aparently doesn't allow multple subscriptions in one single form.
So my question is, is there a way to perform an action per element in the list ?
Some sort of
emailList.foreach(function(email){
performAction(email);
})
Note that I cannot use the cli, is this possible with some sort of funnel action in zapier or maybe using the scrpting ?
Thanks
David here, from the Zapier Platform team.
By default, when a trigger returns a top-level list of objects, subsequent actions occur for each. I'm not sure what type of trigger you're working with, but make sure it returns an object like this:
return [{email: 'email1#gmail.com'}, {email: 'email2#gmail.com'}, {email: 'email3#gmail.com'}]
and it should work as expected.

cumulocity mqtt measurement

I am pretty new to Cumulocity and I am trying to get data into the platform from my own device using mqtt and the smartrest templates. I can get data in using the static templates but they only support certain data types. I am struggling to create the appropriate smartrest template in the UI and the documentation doesn't go into much detail.
I get that the template name goes in the MQTT topic (or selected on login as part of the username) in s/ut/template_name and the messageId of the messages in the template get matched to the first CSV field of the MQTT publish payload. What I don't get is the template terminology. In the UI I choose API->Measurement and Method->POST and I am presented with required values $.type and $.time. My questions:
Is $.type the "measurement fragment type" name or do I have to make it "c8y_CustomMeasurement"? Can I call it whatever I want?
$.time has a value field. Is this the default value if one is not supplied in the publish?
I assume I need to add a numerical value in the optional API values. To link it to the value of the data point should I make the key "c8y_CustomMeasurement.custom.value"?
Am I way off base here?
Every time I publish to my own smartrest template the server drops the connection so I assume its an error in my template setup but I don't see a way of accessing debug messages (also nothing is published back to me on s/e or s/dt).
For the sake of an example, lets say I wish to publish a unitless, timestamped pulse count with payload format "mId,ts,value" with example data "p01,'2017-07-17 12:34:00',1234"
What you wrote so far is mostly correct just to be a bit more precise:
The topic is s/uc/template_id (not the template name, this is just a label)
The $.type refers to the 'type' fragment in the measurement JSON. It is a free text field
In 99% of cases you want to leave the $.time empty. If you set something here it is not the default but fixed to that timestamp and you cannot change it when using the template. If you leave it empty and still not send something in
Example: p01,2017-07-17T12:34:00,1234 (no quotes arounf timestamp and ISO8601 format
Example without sending time: p01,,1234 (sending empty string as time results in server time beeing set. The template is the same)
Hope these points help you to find you issue

SurveyMonkey: How do you determine a survey's ID?

For a given survey, how do you determine its survey_id for use with the SurveyMonkey API?
A list of all IDs is returned by the API method get_survey_list, and you could subsequently call get_survey_details on each survey to determine which one is the intended one, but that seems needlessly complicated. There has to be a way to get a survey's ID from the My Surveys page, right?
Edit:
Whoops, get_survey_details isn't actually necessary, since get_survey_list can take a fields parameter that includes the survey's title.
If you want to get the survey ID via the web page you can:
Right click on the survey in the "ALL SURVEYS" surveys view, and press "Inspect Element" or "Inspect" depending on your browser.
In the bottom of the browser, you will see a highlighted block that starts with:
<a href="/summary/...
Scroll up a few lines until you see a line that starts with:
<tr class="survey-row" id=`
The number that follows id= is the survey id, which you can then use in the API.
Nothing much to add to what Tony & Miles said, just that my UI form contains these fields:
1) An Age limit - eg the past 365 days
2) A keyword in the title - typically all the surveys for one client have that client's name in the title. Hint: if you can be organised enough to enforce a convention, and put keywords in the nickname, the nickname is what the API looks in for Title, although what the user sees is the other title.
3) A start date to get responses only after a start date - the first day may have been only a test.
4) A combobox with all the matching surveys is presented showing the title, number of respondents, date created and date recently modified, pretty much the same as what appears in the SurveyMonkey web UI. That's where they pick the one they want.

Sort by number of Customers Jira

We currently have a Jira instance and I have had another odd request to sort the posts by the number of customers affected. Is this at all possible or will this require some custom work on my part?
Simplest is to add a customer impact number to your configuration (a custom field of type number) and bump it each time a new customer is added to the company name field.
You might even add a simple javascript which automatically sets the field if the company name field is modified ...
