I have a working application with notifications that appear well. Now I would like to handle some event on notification like when the user tap on the banner.
My iOS Deployment Target is 11.0 and the same for my deployment target.

Most part of my code is copied from website. But my actual behaviour is that, when I click on the notification banner nothing happen ...
I see the nofication banner so I think there is no problem with my APNs registration. I don't know why didReceive is not trigger on click event.
Do I miss something in my implementation ? My notification payload is wrong ?
Does someone can help me to figure out where is my mistake ? I've read an infinite number of tutorials without results. Some help would be really appreciated thank you :)
To support a background update notification, make sure that the payload’s aps dictionary includes the content-available key with a value of 1.

When a background update notification is delivered to the user’s device, iOS wakes up your app in the background and gives it up to 30 seconds to run. In iOS, the system delivers background update notifications by calling the application: didReceiveRemoteNotification: fetchCompletionHandler: method of your app delegate.

I am trying to make push notifications work on iOS. They come through just fine when using "send", but don't come through when using "sendToDevice". It is really weird. I have followed all of the instructions here (https://firebase.google.com/docs/cloud-messaging/ios/client), but it is still not working. I have set up the APNs file in my developer account as well as in the Firebase console and I am able to send a push directly from the Firebase dashboard. I have attached my firebase functions code as well as my AppDelegate. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for the help.

It turns out that iOS requires you to pass a title and a body or it won't show a notification. Something like this works.

I am working on an app in which I'm using FCM to send a push notification. On did receive method I've implemented printing the received message and instantiating a viewController which is working fine and whenever I'm sending a notification from postman if the app is running, it is opening up the targeted view controller, but notification is not coming.
I've checked many solutions in StackOverflow but can't figure out the problem. I'm stuck here for like 2 weeks, can anyone please help.

This is code shows both native and RNNotifcation usage, i have kept in one code so you can use when it is needed(ios9/ios10).
You will need to change the aspect that needs to be displayed according to your payload.
For below iOS10
The default Push Notification will not be shown when your App is in the foreground.
Push Notification gets displayed when your App is closed or is in Background. For Push to be shown when an app is in the background, you must select "Remote Notification" in "Background Mode".
Now to resolve your concern,
You can create a view identical to push notification,
Display
content of notification in it.
Animate your view same like push
notification, you can also keep action when notification tapped.

Here is my AppDelegate (made from a developer in Xcode 8.3, iOS10), it is working perfectly to send notifications, but I would like to add a badge to my iPhone dashboard.
I tried to add application.applicationBadgeNumber = XX but the XX never updates, it stays on XX no matter if there are 5 new notifications or none (which should delete the badge at this point).
How can I make badge icon flows correctly to show if there is a new notification or not in the app?

I've been breaking my head on this today and yesterday, for some reason my iOS application is not receiving any firebase notifications. For as far as I know I have done everything as it should be.
I have checked the certifications in my Apple developer account and everything is set up correctly (see screenshots).
I am testing on a physical device
Firebase is set up properly and the logs show it connected to firebase correctly
I have enabled push notifications, background fetch and remote notifications in the capabilities tab of the project
I have added my APN key from my Apple console to Firebase
When sending a notification through the Firebase console to a topic or to all iOS apps nothing happens. I have the same app running on android smoothly which is receiving all notifications when targeted.

As you say that you are receiving notification in Android and having issue with iOS, then there is possibility that this issue comes because of Payload format. I also met with this issue earlier.
Please make sure that your Payload format must be like below.

To register to receive push notifications via Apple Push Service you have to call a registerForRemoteNotifications() method of UIApplication.
If registration succeeds, the app calls your app delegate object’s application:didRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithDeviceToken: method and passes it a device token.
You should pass this token along to the server you use to generate push notifications for the device. If registration fails, the app calls its app delegate’s application:didFailToRegisterForRemoteNotificationsWithError: method instead.
