Enable push notifications on YouTube vanced - youtube

Hello anyone that can help. I recently downloaded youtbe vanced. YouTube vanced is a modified version of the original YouTube which blocks all AD's on the app. The app works great only one thing. The thing is that I am not getting push notifications when new content is added from the subscribers. Can anyone help with this issue thank you in advance.

Try these steps:
Go to Settings >> Apps >> VancedMicroG (i am assuming you have non rooted phone and have installed MicroG for Youtube vanced.).
You might see a Gear Icon or Additional Settings in the app depending on your android version. Click on that.
There will be a highlighted text saying Battery Optimization is On or something like that. Turn in off and you will get Youtube vanced Notification.

In YouTube you get a push notification for the channels that you have subscribed and have the bell ringed. If you have that done already go to
settings -> apps -> YouTube vanced
and check the box saying show notification. If it is already ticked go to app's setting and enable notification.

How does iphone Notifications on Websites works? Is need to install Application?

I have problem with understand how "Push Notifications on Websites" works on Iphone, Ipad, etc.
Default Browser Notifications don't work on mobile, but this: https://developer.apple.com/library/content/documentation/NetworkingInternet/Conceptual/NotificationProgrammingGuideForWebsites/Introduction/Introduction.html
should be work fine!
There is good documentation how to install it, but how it works on user?
As i see, it`s 2 variants:
1) Modal Window to allow using notifications in browser like it`s working with default JS Notifications.
or:
2) Link to install application in AppStore. So, user install to device application.
So, if user download application, does this application add to desktop on device as other applications? What happing when user click on icon? Does click on application on desktop activate safari and open web-site? Or is it hidden application without icons on desktop?
I try to find some sites to check examples how it will work with my iphone, but i didnt find any sites. All popular sites say: "download application and active notifications THERE and use application for website".
So, i don't need special application for my site, adaptive design is awesome for me, but i want to use notifications on iphone!
Please, help me :) Thank you!
As you noticed the document states that this feature is available on OSX not on iPad, iPhone.
We see this notifications when we open a website on Safari. For instance,
As soon as we click the allow button, our Macbook communicates with Apple Push Notification Service to establish a persistent IP connection (along with a token exchange). When the website servers send notifications to the Apple Push Notification Service it forwards that notification to our Macbook/iMac.

How to get notification badge number from one app to another ios

I have an app with a tableView which have the entries with names whatsapp, messenger, slack etc. Now take Whatsapp for example when you tap on it it'll open whatspp via deep linking.I want to show notifications sum, which user has received on his whatsapp, onto my app. After searching around I came to knew that this is not possible to get push notifications of one app to another it's a server to server thing and many other explanations. But my question is if notifications have been received on whatsapp can I get the badge number and sum it and show it in my app? This screenshot will show more:
So the 12 is coming from whatsapp as a sum of total unread messages you can say. So how to achieve that?
UPDATEI found these links which says that it might be possible. How to catch all push notifications from other apps on iOS using private frameworks? How can I receive push notifications of an other app?
No it is not possible. Because Whatsapp is another app. So there is no linking between them. The apple security your app can not gets any other app information.
In latest iOS, they've loosened that up a bit. For example, the iOS programming guide now has a section on passing data between apps by having one app claim a certain URL prefix, and then having other apps reference that URL. So, perhaps you set your event app to answer "event://" URLs the same way that a web server answers for "http://" URLs.

Deep link in to iOS Settings' Notifications page?

I know that I can deep link into the Settings page on iOS via UIApplicationOpenSettingsURLString. However, this takes me to a page such as this:
Now if I want the user to enable notifications, they have to find Notifications in the list and then enable it. Is there a way to instead directly link them to the Notifications page? (i.e. Going to the same exact page as though they had tapped notifications in the screenshot above.)
If not, is there a way to take them to the global notifications iOS Settings page? (See screenshot below for an example)
No, there is no way to go to any other page in the Settings app from a third party app. Using UIApplicationOpenSettingsURLString is the only option available.

Allow user to select notification sound in iOS Notification Settings

I have an app that is properly posting notifications with the default iOS notification sound.
I would like to allow my users to choose their own sounds. I know I could do this in my app, but I'd rather do it in the Notifications area like one can with the standard Messages app.
I have looked and don't see anything new talking about this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

In Newsstand app how do I find a list of devices that are subscribed?

I can't afford UrbanAirship so I'm trying to program the server side of a Newsstand app myself.
I plan on using the JavaPNS API.
The one thing I can't seem to figure out is how to find a list of users who have a subscription in my app.
Can I query this information from Apple some how?
If I can't then I guess that means that each time a user subscribes they send their device token directly to my server. I hope this is not the case because I was hopping to run the server on my laptop and send out pushes myself without having to keep the laptop running all day listening for new subscribers.
Thanks!
Looks like I do need to register each device with my server: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/web/library/mo-ios-push/index.html#resources
You kind of found your answer but just in case you really need a server for not only handling the push notification (for telling your app in Newsstand to check the new issue and download it in the background) but also for subscription and in-app purchasing.
Every time you launch the app you should check few things before you refresh the UI. You should check if the user is a subscriber or has user already bought the issue so you can show view/download button instead of Buy button.
Check out these tutorials if they help to understand these communications better but believe me you will end up with one of those services like Urban Airship (Which I think UA is the best option because it handles all in one not just push notification):
http://ios-blog.co.uk/tutorials/how-to-make-a-magazine-app-in-ios-part-i/
this one is more focus on server part:

http://www.viggiosoft.com/blog/blog/2011/10/17/ios-newsstand-tutorial
http://www.raywenderlich.com/2797/introduction-to-in-app-purchases
And as always this is the best place for start (it has everything you need):
https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/newsstand/
These are some resources to help you in developing app for Newsstand but still there are not enough people out there to share their experience.
Best of luck.
