'oTrans' is not a member of 'Script' - epicor10

I encountered this really bizarre error in Epicor. I was trying to modify my tree options and I encountered the error 'oTrans' is not a member of 'Script' upon saving the tree options. I tried to check the customization code but by default oTrans is already instantiated in the custom code. Is this a known bug in Epicor? I am currently using Epicor 10.1.

Vaadin: after upgrading to v23.0.1 (from 22.0.2): Error with Binder opening a Form

After upgrading to Vaadin 23.0.x (from former 22.0.2) I now keep getting the following error when opening a certain dialog:
2022-08-01 18:56:25,977 ERROR [http-nio-8085-exec-5] net.mmo.utils.kism.ui.views.nodes.NodeView: java.lang.IllegalStateException: All bindings created with forField must be completed before calling readBean
at com.vaadin.flow.data.binder.Binder.checkBindingsCompleted(Binder.java:3070)
at com.vaadin.flow.data.binder.Binder.readBean(Binder.java:2110)
at net.mmo.utils.kism.ui.views.nodes.NodeForm.readBean(NodeForm.java:487)
at net.mmo.utils.kism.ui.views.nodes.NodeForm.setNode(NodeForm.java:211)
This dialog has worked perfectly fine since I wrote it (using version 18.0.x about 2 years ago) and up to v22.0.2. I can't make sense of that error message and I don't understand what the issue could be here. I verified that issue going back and forth and the difference is really only the Vaadin version upgrade. Before it, the dialog works just fine and after it I get the above Exception when opening it.
I also can't quite believe what I think the message is stating here: if it would indeed check that I define or complete any bindings AFTER calling Binder.readBean() - how could it know that already in that very moment, i.e. when the code calls readBean() - as indicated by the stacktrace?
If there would indeed be any bindings being defined afterwards, IMHO it could only find that out AFTER said readBean()-call, i.e. when any additional bindings were actually defined, couldn't it?
So, could someone please try to "translate" or explain that issue or the background behind it to me?
The error basically states the problem: in the process of binding a field to a property (or getter/setter in general), the finishing step of actually binding was not undertaken. So the process was started with .forField() but never finished by .bind().
Since the error message as of now only states the fact, but not the culprit, a developer would be in need of a debugger to inspect the private state of the Binder, where the map incompleteBindings holds the current state of the Binder. The content of this map may help to find the culprit, e.g. by only holding one entry and by inspecting the flow of the program so far, that would conclude, what binding attempt failed. Or e.g. via the included field types.
Other than plain "bugs" by the developer, there are some potential reasons, why this suddenly happens by like an update or what places to look for:
multiple (re-)binding was recently added (e.g. to first bind "automatically" and then hand-tune the result); this holds potential, that older versions of the code just kept the initial binding and ignored the dangling second process.
the binding process uses a builder pattern; builder must build up on the result of the previous steps. This means, that in imperative code, there is the chance, that this chained call miss reassigning the build step. E.g.
var b = binder.forField(field)
if (predicate)
b.asRequired() // XXX: should be `b = b.asRequired()`
b.bind(...)
(this may or may not be a source for this kind of problem, but it's good to point out here, since the binder builder implementation actually switche(s|d) the builder (in the past)

what's causing this Entity Framework 6 runtime error - type or namespace does not exist?

This is an ASP.NET (Framework v. 4.5.2) website currently running reliably in production. A new requirement called for adding a new column to an existing SQL Server table (apProduct) which has been done. I then made the necessary changes to the .edmx file, controllers, views, etc., and everything is compiling fine. However I'm now getting the runtime error below:
When I debug and set a breakpoint where apDepartment is first getting created, I expand the created objects and see this:
My attention is drawn to: "The metadata for 'EntityFrameworkDynamicProxies-AnkoMVC' is invalid."
Here is where apProduct is defined, clearly within the AnkoMVC.Models namespace:
Lastly, here is the DbContext class:
Can anyone offer suggestions on how to overcome this?
I found the problem in the #model reference in many of the views. Here is the faulty code:
This is the corrected #model reference:

coldbox event.setView method not working as expected with module attribute

I am new to ColdBox so please be understanding :)
In the documentation I found the option of setting a view from an external module in coldbox, by providing the "module" attribute.
When in my controller I set for example event.setView (view="test_view", module="contentbox"); I get the following error:
Application Execution Exception
Error Type: missinginclude : 0
Error Messages: Page //views/test_view.cfm [C:\(...path...)\slawek_contentbox\views\test_view.cfm] not found
It seems like coldbox is ignoring the module setting and is looking in the main views path \views\, but I would expect it to look inside \modules\contentbox\views\.
I would really appreciate if anyone would be able to help me with this issue!

Error: An error occurred while skipping data rows

I am getting these errors in flat file connection manager.
Error: [SSIS.Pipeline] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_PRIMEOUTPUTFAILED. The PrimeOutput method on Flat File Source returned error code 0xC0202091. The component returned a failure code when the pipeline engine called PrimeOutput(). The meaning of the failure code is defined by the component, but the error is fatal and the pipeline stopped executing. There may be error messages posted before this with more information about the failure.
I am reletively new to ssis and I am finding it quite hard to figure out the issue. Please let me know your views.
On your flat file connection properties - Look for the property "AlwaysCheckForRowDelimeters" - SET it to FALSE.
Hope that helps.
"An error occurred while skipping data rows" - I had this error in a package and found the problem was reading files inside a for loop. More files matched the criteria than intended, so a file with an invalid schema was also matched.
More generally I think this is related to either the file not matching the connection definition, I have also seen people online saying it is related to the flat file using a text qualifier (i.e. " in a csv) but having no closing quote.
I had this error today, and my package was looking for more files than existed based on the conditions of the for each loop. The text qualifier wasn't the issue causing this particular error.
near the Start button press drop-down menu arrow
choose package_name Debug Properties
than under Configuration Properties open Debugging
than under Debug Options choose Run64BitRuntime and turn it to False

cakephp highchart fatal error while rendering

Here I am, again. With another question concerning cakephp-2.5 and the plugin 'highcharts'.
I've been looking at the demo's an all the different things I could find were the extendings from the controllers. But... that isn't required because it's a plug, am I right?
So, I have included th plugin to my loadings inside the bootstrap file, and when I'm trying to render my HighChart I'm receiving the following error;
Error: Chart: "1" could not be found. Ensure that Chart Name is the same string that is passed to $this->HighCharts->render() in your view.
But the demos are working fine! Any idea what I f*cked up? The names are the same, I even renamed them to 'asd' ( both! ) and it still doesn't work. ^^"
I know this is an incredibly late response but for the benefit of those still experiencing problems with this, the CakePHP 2.* Highcharts plugin has been updated and is compatible up to CakePHP version 2.5.7.
Do note however that in order to maintain product name consistency throughout the repo, all previous references to "HighCharts" have been changed to "Highcharts" and "high_charts" is now simply "highcharts" . So for eg. you now have to call $this->Highcharts->render() where before you would have used $this->HighCharts->render().
The plugin was not yet compatible with CakePHP 2.5. Right now as we speak the developer is working on a new release for 2.5. :)
In CakePHP 2.5, you can avoid the error above and render your chart by calling it.
For example from within index() within your controller, use:
$this->bar();
In this example, bar() is the name of the function containing your chart.
