Can I compile Capacitor apps for iOS on 2019 Intel MacBook Pro

I have the opportunity to buy my used Intel MacBook Pro 2019 from work for a very good price. I would like to use it to compile my Capacitor apps for iPhone/iOS but I heard and read different things about whether this possible or not.
Some fellow developers told me that XCode won't install on Intel Macs anymore, but I was able to install it from the App Store.
I haven't had the chance to test the setup with Capacitor and XCode thoroughly yet (as it is not my machine yet), but one issue I imagine could be that I might not be able to compile for the latest iPad models (which have a M chip themselves) and possibly upcoming iPhone models.
Is this a legitimate fear? Are there other reasons why a Intel MacBook Pro 2019 may not be a feasible option to compile Capacitor apps for iOS? And what would be the alternatives to get such a setup that doesn't cost me thousands of €?
You can install the latest version of macOS and Xcode on the Intel MacBook Pro 2019, so the 'XCode won't install on Intel Macs anymore' part is incorrect.

Delphi 64bit mac os app

is there a fix for the app store for the Mac OS platform? I create my apps with Firemonkey but it's been a while that I am NOT able to upload my works. There is the warning about the compatibility from apple but still nothing!
From June 1, 2018 the 64 bit version is needed but we are in august and still nothing.
I have seen that David Nottage put a temporary fix to android sdk target. I have tested that because I need android too. It changes some libraries and the manifest. Do I have to do something similar with mac os apps?
Is there any tutorial online?
I have googled a lot but I didnt have success. Maybe it's me that I am weak at googling stuff but nothing.
Per Embarcadero's current roadmap, support for Mac OSX 64bit is planned for RAD Studio 10.3:
Key roadmap themes for 10.3 (and 10.3.x) include macOS 64-bit support, C++17 support, consolidating our debuggers and updating the IDE UI/UX, in addition to FireMonkey z-order support on Android and more.
Note that 10.3 is scheduled to start beta testing soon (invites went out a few days ago), so it will likely be released sometime this Fall. Users with an active Update Subscription have early access to betas for "hotfixes, updates, and major “next” versions". Otherwise, contact Embarcadero to become a beta tester if you can't wait for the final release.
Update: Embarcadero has just released a new roadmap, and clarified their plan regarding OSX 64-bit support:
One roadmap change you may notice compared to the September 2017 roadmap is that we removed macOS 64-bit platform support from the initial 10.3 release.
This doesn’t mean that we don’t think macOS 64-bit is important. We removed it from the 10.3 release to focus on providing more quality and stability for the other key features that are in flight. With that said, our intent is to provide support for macOS 64-bit, including support for targeting the iOS 11 (and iOS 12) simulators, in a follow-on 10.3.x release. We know that developers looking to target the macOS App Store or leverage 64-bit APIs require macOS 64-bit support.
We have a number of customers today who distribute their existing 32-bit applications through their own web store and are currently not impacted by this Apple requirement.
There is no fix at the moment because there is no 64 bit Delphi compiler for Mac OSX. You smply have to hope that Embarcadero release one soon.

Searching for iPhone SDK for iPhone OS 2.2.1 (Build 9m2621a)

I am searching the last SDK for the iPhone OS 2.2.1 (last in the 2.x series) for Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard:
"iPhone SDK for iPhone OS 2.2.1 (Build 9m26211) - Final"
Exact Data of the searched SDK:
type: DMG
file name: "iphone_sdk_for_iphone_os_2.2.19m2621afinal.dmg"
md5-checksum: "9d0a818f41be507537495920cd0ef9bc"
file size: 1.75 GB
original (non-working) link: original link to SDK (not working
anymore)
Unfortunately, Apple has deleted most of the old developer stuff lately, so I cannot download the SDK anymore !
But I need it urgently for a project.
If you have a backup of the DMG file, could you please provide me a copy of this ?
Send me an e-mail. (my address is: "Kitchen2010 (AT) web DOT de")
Thanks in advance !
If you go to Apple's Xcode page and click on the link that's next to "Looking for additional developer tools? View downloads", you'll be able to get to older copies of Xcode that are compatible with older versions of MacOS & iOS.
You do need to be a member of Apple's Developer Program to authenticate to get in there, though.
#Michael Dautermann:
Thanks for your answer, but unfortunately, the oldest Xcode release with iOS/iPhone OS SDK included and still available for download is "Xcode 3.2.3 with iOS SDK 4.0.1" for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard on this site. All earlier Xcode releases are for Mac OS X development only.
Apple used to distribute the iOS/iPhone OS SDKs with a suitable Xcode as a seperated download. They started to combine the Xcode releases later with the 3.2.x releases.
I still hope that someone has made a backup of the early iPhone OS SDKs and can provide me a copy.

net_rim_crypto error in blackberry

I'm developing a blackberry application to encode and decode some important information. For this I'm using the net.rim.device.api.crypto.* package in my application. I'm developing in blackberry OS 7.1 simulator but my blackberry device has OS 5.0 . When I try to download the app in my device, it gives me the following error:
"This application requires the following module, which is not installed: net_rim_crypto"
Also I'm not able to use the update site and install previous blackberry Os versions as the installation fails whenever I try to install it.
So, my question is mainly: How can I make my apps backward compatible in this case? Also, I'm not able to install and run my app (mentioned above) on the device. How can I accomplish this? Please help. Thanks in advance.
Please note that BlackBerry apps are not backward compatible, that is to say an app built on OS 7.0 will not work with OS 6.0 or OS 5.0. However, an same app built on OS 5.0 will work on handsets with OS 5.0+. Considering you are developing your app in OS 7.1 simulator indicates you are using BlackBerry JRE 7 and net_rim_crypto that you implemented seem to be missing in OS 5. In order to develop apps for OS 5, please work with JRE 5.

Iphone SDK for Tiger MAC

I am running Mac Tiger on my VMware, trying to install iphone SDK and Xcode, and then I found out I have to have leopard in order to be able to develop for Iphone. I was wondering is there any Iphone SDK and Xcode for MAc Tiger 10.4 ??? many thanks
Apple stopped supporting Mac OS 10.4 quite a long time ago. In fact, new iPhone 3.2 SDK is available only for Mac OS 10.6. So you'd either have to get a newer version of the system, or search for older SDK over the Internet (some third party sites can still host it).
The 10.5.x version is still available on Apple's developer connection, however it's SDK 3.1.3 only.
Hope this was helpful, Paul
