I am running React Native app and struggling with deploying my react native app to iOS devices. I always have the issue:
Code signing is required for product type 'App Extension' in SDK 'iOS 11.4'
I signed to my app by following this instruction but it fail again.
This is really simple.
Make sure your Xcode support the iOS version of your phone. In my case, Xcode 9.4 and iOS version is 11.4. If your phone is 11.3, you can choose the version inside Deployment Target in Xcode.
React native contains 2 projects: main and test. MAKE SURE both of them is signed with develop team and have correct iOS build version.
That solved my problem.

I have build my application two years ago but not submitted on App Store. Now I want to submit the app on App store. But when I try to install app using Xcode or through diawi link of its Ad hoc build, app is not installing on device.
When I try to install app through Xcode, sometimes it shows
this application does not support this device's cpu type
and sometimes
Could not write to the device
and when I try to install app through diawi link of its Ad hoc build, it shows
Unable to download application, <app-name> could not be installed at this time
This issue is only occurring in device with ios 11. I have checked my certificates as well as UDID of device in which i am trying to install. Also I have set Architectures of Build Setting of Xcode to Standard architectures (arm7, arm64) - $(ARCHS_STANDARD). It is completely working fine in device with iOS version below 11.
Finally I have find the solution of my issue. In my case I have to remove some old libraries which is not supporting in ios 11 and have to change some deprecated code.
If your code is deprecated or some libraries are stop working then Xcode will show you only error of
this application does not support this device's cpu type
or
Could not write to the device
So you have to check that which library is deprecated after launching of ios 11.
Also you have to check all other details like Build Active Architectures Only, Architectures, Valid Architectures, Required device capabilities from Info.plist.
I'm developing a app with the latest xcode. I configured xcode
to "don't sign" to install the app to my iphone without a developer account.
It was working fine, until i updated my iphone 6 to ios 8.3.
I removed the app from the phone, restarted it, did a "clean"(in Build-Menu),
but same error.
Also i havent changed the project settings in xcode.
There is a no solution for this with this xCode version,
because Apple restrictions.
I installed xcode 7.0 that allows installing apps without developer account to iphones/ipads, solved my problem.
I'm trying to build my Xamarin Forms app for the Apple store using Xamarin Studio on my MacBook. This worked fine until recently.
The only options available to me on the SDK version dropdown on the iOS Build tab are Default and 8.3. If I build using either of these and try to upload to the store I get the following error:
ERROR ITMS-90068: "This bundle is invalid. The value provided for the
key MinimumOSVersion '8.3' is not acceptable."
I guess this is due to updating all Xamarin and Xcode components to their latest versions recently.
I'm trying to figure out how to get the 8.2 SDK back.
I tried downloading the iOS 8.2 Simulator from Xcode > Preferences > Downloads but that doesn't seem to have added anything in the Xamarin SDK version dropdown.
Any ideas?
You're confusing the SDK version used to build your app with and the minimum iOS version your app requires.
It's perfectly possible to build an app using the iOS 8.3 SDK and target iOS 5.1.1 for instance.
You need to set the minimum iOS version for your app instead of changing the SDK version; this is done in the project's iOS Application options, by setting Deployment Target to your app's minimum iOS version.
This is what I did to resolve the issue:
Right click on the .iOS project > Options
Set Build > iOS Build > Link behaviour to Link Framework SDKs Only.
Need to to test my app on iphone 4 IOS 5.1.1. The provisioning profiles are ok. I get
"Cannot run using the selected device. No provisioned iOS devices are available with a compatible iOS version. Connect an iOS device with a recent enough version or..."
It may be iOS Version problem , I also encountered same problem Before and what i done is Just changed my Deployment target to Device OS version. To make This Use following Method.
Go to Target-->Summary-->Deployment Target -->Select the Version.
and Project-->info-->iOS Deployment target -->Select your Version.
After today's announcement that iOS 6 Beta is available to developers today, I am wondering if I jump on the iOS 6 ASAP will I still be able to build my apps in progress on my device(iPhone) from Xcode 4.3.2? or will there be a required update for Xcode as well?
Update: Currently I have iOS 6 on my iPhone and Xcode 4.5 installed. After that the organizer in Xcode (4.3.2 and 4.5) said 'could not support development' in the Provisioning. Then fixed that, and now I have 4.3.2 saying that it is running my app on my iPhone, but its not showing up on my phone. And 4.5 gets to the 'TakingInstallLock' point in the process, and just keeps trying, but getting nowhere. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone know of a solution?
You can push apps to your phone from Xcode 4.3.x if your phone is running the iOS 6 Beta.
You cannot, however, utilize any of the iOS 6+ frameworks such as the new Social framework from within Xcode 4.3.x
I can't comment yet so this is to confirm that installing Xcode 4.5 DP acutally installs the iOS 6 SDK for Xcode 4.3.2 as well. This is rather obvious as SDK files are installed in a general place (namely the Library folder) of OSX.
The steps to use your updated iOS 6 device for development with Xcode 4.3.2 thus are:
Download Xcode 4.5 DP from the dev area of apple.com.
Install Xcode 4.5
Start up Xcode 4.3.2
Open up the devices section, choose your device for development, wait for the process of fetching information to finish and you are good to go.
Regards!
Any apps that you write using beta software will be rejected. To translate, if you use iOS 6 SDK beta or the new Xcode beta that gets released today, your app will be rejected even if you make a build for just iOS 5.
I installed iOS6 and Xcode 4.3.2 didn't recognize my device. After installing Xcode 4.5 beta and letting it install a few things, 4.3.2 now recognizes my device and I can carry on building and testing on my iOS6 device.
I would say no!
I updated last night and now I can't run my app on my phone.
