"My Blog for Testing"
I already changed the header image , it will bring me to the homepage when I click it.
However, I would like to know how can I link to another site when I click the header image ?
Thanks a lot....
Go to your blogger account > Themes > Edit HTML and search for this class header-image-wrapper and change attribute link.
i.e : <a class="header-image-wrapper" href="#link">…</a>

I want to navigate a site using watir. I can't find nor focus on an element to click on it. It's the Next link on top right of this url:
Companies
How can I test that the link exists and can focus on it to click it?
The link HTML is:
<a id="view:_id1:_id258:pager6__Next__lnk" href="#" title="Go to next page:">Next</a>
The identifiable attributes seem to be the id (being careful of the auto-generated portions) or the title. The link could be located by either:
browser.link(title: 'Go to next page:') # using title
browser.link(id: /Next__lnk/) # using partial id
You can check if the link is available by checking if it is present:
browser.link(title: 'Go to next page:').present?
You can click with:
browser.link(title: 'Go to next page:').click
I'm trying trying to link to specific sections of the page below using the ID anchor tags. You can see they work when you're on this page: http://lastergroup.com/epe/epe19-240/dev/education.html, but when you navigate to other pages of this site, and click on any of the links on that dropdown menu, none work. What am I doing wrong? I have my IDs and links in place:
<div id="solarenergy">
Solar Energy
I found what was happening. After some research I learned that I have to use the anchor right before the div section I want to link to:
<a name="div1"></a>
Link
I want to add an hyperlink or a button in my FitNesse page.
On click of this link or button a popup window with some HTML content should open.
Please let me know if this is possible in FitNesse? If yes, how to achieve this?
I tried to search on FitNesse website but could not get information.
Adding a link to a wiki page is easy: just type the link, or use [[word or phrase][url]]. But this will not open a pop-up. I don't know how to achieve that by just using the wiki.
In a Slim fixture's result you can return any HTML (sometimes you will have to surround it with <div></div>), so you can return ... and in the test result there will be a hyperlink that will open in a new tab...

I am a new coder/web designer and i am trying to add a the youtube logo that when clicked confirm subscription to the users channel
i have a php file with the following coding within...
<div id="youtube">
<img src="/images/YouTube.png />
</div>
this links to confirm subscription and the image directory is correct
however the problem is that whenever i add this into the coding it stuffs everything up!
if you go to any page and right click and go 'inspect element' you will see that the like box for facebook has a box around it which has the room for the youtube picture link
but it doesnt work, as said, when i add it in everything just clumps up together and/or the menu clumps up and goes all weird
You had two problems by the looks of things. The first issue was your include filename was wrong and the second was that you missed the closing inverted comma "
This was on the img src= tag
Try to change your id to something else - like <div id="youtube-confirm">
The youtube id might be reserved in FB script and it messes up your and their stuff
