Xamarin Android CardView in Visual Studio 2017 using NuGet - xamarin.android

I'm trying to install Xamarin.Android.Support.v7.CardView package via NuGet, but it fails with this error in Error list window:
При попытке установить необходимые компоненты Android для проекта "App1" произошла ошибка.
Для проекта "App1" на вашем компьютере должны быть установлены следующие компоненты:

Double click on this error shows a little window that is trying to dowload these packages and disappers through second and that's all, error still there. I've tried to delete AppData\Local\Xamarin\zips folder, but it didn't helped.

The error message tells us pretty explicitly, this problem occurred because of failing to unpack m2repository file (a >200MB file).
Ошибки установки: XA5209 Сбой распаковки.
Google Translate: Installation errors: XA5209 Unpacking failed.
If for some reason you exited Xamarin Studio/Visual Studio or your network slowly running when you download or unpack that zip file, that file would be damaged.
To resolve this issue, the commonly used method is to delete the root folder of the package where the error come from (...\AppData\Local\Xamarin\Xamarin.Android.Support.v7.CardView) and all the .zips inside the folder (...\AppData\Local\Xamarin\zips).
If it does't work, please try to manually download android_m2repository_r32.zip and put it into (...\AppData\Local\Xamarin\zips ) folder. VS will do the rest (including extracting and installing the file).
Note: In some cases you might need to rename the file into it's MD5 hash of URL. (for me VS was a little stupid and doesn't do anything unless I renamed the m2repository file to it's MD5 hash).
See Resolving Library Installation Errors for more details.

I've set target framework to 8.1, updated all packages and install CardView, it's worked.

In general, like #Ittai, I would suggest you open an issue in the intellij plugin github repo.
Unfortunately, your version of the plugin is no longer supported. I, too, previously ran into an issue with an older version of the plugin and was recommended to upgrade to the latest version. Which resolved the specific issue I was facing.
When reporting the issue make sure to include the following bits of information:
intellij build number
plugin version number
rules_scala version
operating system (it seems your using Windows, while most users use unix based systems)
bazel release number
how you have opened the intellij project (BUILD file, WORKSPACE, .blazeproject)
Additionally, to verify this is in fact an issue with the plugin, I would also suggest you try to reproduce this issue on a Unix based system. It seems you are using Intellij
compile on Windows. This may be Windows specific issue with aspects not being recognized.
When attempting to reproduce, make sure to clone your repository in a separate directory, close the intellij project, and reopen the project

Why have I errors when installing from Luarocks?

I am the developer of this small library: https://github.com/martin-damien/babel and I have a problem with Luarocks releases.
From source
When I install from source with Luarocks I have no problem:
$ luarocks make --local rockspecs/babel-1.2-2.rockspec
From internet
But when deployed (using: tag master, add new rockspec release and publish to Luarocks), I can't install using
$ luarocks install --local babel
Because I encounter the following error:
Installing https://luarocks.org/babel-1.2-2.src.rock...
Using https://luarocks.org/babel-1.2-2.src.rock... switching to 'build' > mode
stat: malsukcesis eltrovi statinformon pri «locales/zh-HK.lua»: No such > file or directory
Error: Build error: Failed installing locales/zh-HK.lua in /home/damien/.luarocks/lib/luarocks/rocks/babel/1.2-2/lua/locales/zh-HK.lua: locales/zh-HK.lua: No such file or directory
As you can see in https://github.com/martin-damien/babel/issues/14 the error occure on different files (but until now, only with locale files, not with the babel.lua file).
I have no idea why it randomly crash like this, so if someone know why or have an idea from where it could come from...
Thanks in advance,
Damien
The location of the files in the build.modules table is (from the docs on the rockspec format):
relative to source.dir
Where source.dir is
source.dir (string) - the name of the directory created when the source archive is unpacked. Can be omitted if it can be inferred from the source.file field. Example: "luasocket-2.0.1"
and source.file is
source.file (string) - the filename of the source archive. Can be omitted if it can be inferred from the source.url field. Example: "luasocket-2.0.1.tar.gz"
You don't specify source.dir or source.file in your rockspec but you do set source.url (because you have to).
So you have source.url = https://github.com/martin-damien/babel/archive/v1.2-2.zip which (presumably) ends up with source.file = v1.2-2.zip and then source.dir = v1.2-2 but your zip file extracts into a babel-1.2 so luarocks can't find your source files. (The screenshot in the linked issue seems to indicate that luarocks uses source.file = v1.2.zip and the archive extracts to babel-1.2 but I'm not sure how that's possible.)
Add dir = "babel-1.2" to your rockspec's source table an I expect it will work.

Delphi Seattle, Compile Error: F2051 Unit System.SysUtils was compiled with a different version of "".GetMappedFileName

since some days, something weird happened.
Problem:
I always get "Compile Error: F2051 Unit System.SysUtils was compiled
with a different version of “”.GetMappedFileName" No precise code line
to mention. Also the same problem if I make a simple project with
only one call to a sysutils command.
Our situation: me and my collegueare developping on the same project. We use JEDI to exchange our sources and to keep track of changes.
LAst, I was downloading his changed sources. Everything went well and I was ready to go on.
I refreshed all my files and tried to compile, build and run the new sources on my computer.
Then it got weird. While compiling, I got this error:
F2051 Unit System.SysUtils was compiled with a different version of "".GetMappedFileName
I checked our versions of delphi standard lib's and also the versions of our other components installed and everything matches.
Then I went on internet-tip-shopping. I found some similar problems, but non of the possible solutions worked for me...
This are some things I tried yet:
setup a smal simple project with only the beep-function from sysUtils
repair of delphi Seattle
Looked at my Library path, browsing path, ...
Cleared the dcu's of my project
I also tried a "dir /s" search to find different (wrong?) versions of System.SysUtils.*
Found .PAS

For every export system (android, ios, ..)

You an find my library and browsing path at the end of this post.
Some of the internet sites I used to try to solve this:
Why are my units "compiled with a different version" of my own files?
F2051: Unit %s was compiled with a different version of %s
https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=auto&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fdelphi4arab.net%2Fforum%2Fshowthread.php%3Fmode%3Dlinear%26tid%3D4700%26pid%3D24332
[DCC Fatal Error]: F2051 Unit ApFileIO was compiled with a different version of ***.{ApCollections}TLinkList<uPublic.TApObject>
Does anyone have an idea or a clue to get out off this. Cause I can't go on with any of my projects since this happened.

Problem solved, There was one instance in the library path that was responsible for the problem.
I disabled "C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\17.0\source\rtl\win;" from the library and all seems to work now.
My job now is to look why this file was in my library from my predecessor and try to look if there are any "strange" pas/dcu files in that directory so it should be needed in the path.
But that is now my job, Thx to all who helped me with sending some clues to get it solved.
So, it looks that I lost a lot of time by searching at other things
first instead of disabling 1 by 1 of the instances in my Library path.
This is the tip for today :-)

Printer on Raspberry pi : Yaourt can't build the driver

I'm trying to use my hp laserjet p1006 printer with my raspberry pi (archlinux, Linus 3.18.9).
I already set up the cups server, I can manage my printer through the web interface, and added my user to sys and lp groups.
I can "install" my printer through this interface, choose a "model" (driver?) amongst hpcups and hpijs (none works).
I can manage my printer, but when I try to print something with it, it ends with a "filter failed" error in my cups interface and my printer doesn't react.
I didn't find a PPD file (on openprinting.org, they say : "PPD files (and the Foomatic XML files to generate them) come with the driver (foo2xqx), therefore we do not supply PPDs here on the OpenPrinting site.").
I tried to install foo2xqx by installing foo2zjs (in which it's included) with yaourt.
I also edited each PKGBUILD to replace the architecture ('i686' or 'x86_64') with 'armv6h'.
But It fails to build and install a dependency : foomatic-db-foo2zjs.
Here is the output of yaourt :
==> ERROR: Failure while creating working copy of foomatic-db-foo2zjs bzr repo
Aborting...
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build foomatic-db-foo2zjs.
I also tried to add more swap but it solved nothing.
What could I do?
Thank you for your help!
EDIT : I tried to add space to /tmp (as this tutorial explains : http://www.boxtutorials.com/how-to-increase-the-size-of-disk-space-tmp-usrtmpdsk-partition-in-linux-server.html) and it went further.
But I still have an issue :
If I try to build the package with yaourt :
I got an error with the PKGBUILD file :
pkgname=foomatic-db-foo2zjs

package() {
cd ${srcdir}/${pkgname}

echo $pkgver
# here are the problems :

# some other rm calls
rm ${pkgdir}/usr/share/foomatic/db/source/printer/HP-LaserJet_1005.xml
}
I got the following :
PKGBUILD: line 24: ./make_configure: Permission denied
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package().
Aborting...
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build foomatic-db-foo2zjs.
I tried to add a call to "sudo chmod" in this file to get permissions but it doesn't work.
And if I try to build myself the package (with makepkg) :
it returns :
-> Creating working copy of foomatic-db-foo2zjs bzr repo...
bzr: ERROR: Not a branch: "/home/vmonteco/build/foomatic-db-foo2zjs/foomatic-db-foo2zjs/.bzr/branch/": location is a repository.
==> ERROR: Failure while creating working copy of foomatic-db-foo2zjs bzr repo
Aborting...
Any idea?
By the way, I also found a tutorial (in French, sorry) that is exactly what I was searching for (same case, same devices, same package...), I put it here in case it could help somebody else, even a non-french speaker with just the commands.
http://www.azurs.net/carnet/2013/09/raspberry-pi-serveur-impression-imprimante-hp-laserjet-p1006/
I'm stuck (see the two errors above) at the two last steps "L’AUR sans peine, mais avec yaourt" ("AUR without troubles, but with yaourt") and "Empaquetage avec makepkg" ("packaging with makepkg"). I tried both but both failed when I tried.
I finally managed to fix it.
I'll recapitulate :
I added swap and made a larger /tmp to get rid off space issues. (The first problem I was encountering)..
But I also had to mount the /tmp without "noexec" option, to permit yaourt to run the PKGBUILD file (as suggested here : https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=189625).
I still have an issue (filter failed) with installing my printer with cups with the new drivers, so I'll wait to have a solution for this too before I mark this post as "solved". :)
EDIT:
I finally reinstalled my printer with the hp-setup tool (hp-lip package) and it worked. :)
I hope it could help anybody else!

"Required package rtl not found" when building with Hudson

I am trying to get Hudson to work with my Delphi project. I am using the following batch file to build my project (as suggested in this blog post):
call "C:\Program Files\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\8.0\bin\rsvars.bat"
msbuild /p:Win32LibraryPath="$(BDS)\lib;$(BDS)\lib\win32\release;$(BDS)\lib\win32\debug;$(BDSUSERDIR)\Imports;$(BDS)\Imports;$(BDSCOMMONDIR)\Dcp;$(BDS)\include;" /t:build /p:config=Debug /verbosity:detailed "MyProject\src\MyProject.dproj"
if errorlevel 1 exit 1
I always end up with the error
Embarcadero Delphi for Win32 compiler version 22.0
Copyright (c) 1983,2010 Embarcadero Technologies, Inc.
Fatal: E2202 Required package 'rtl' not found
I don't understand this as rtl.dcp is in "$(BDS)\lib\win32\release" which is on the library path. I am using runtime packages by the way.
Any hints what I can do to solve this?
Edit It seems that the paths do not end up in the command line, which looks something like (after removing project-specific paths):
C:\Program Files\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\8.0\bin\dcc32.exe -$O- -$W+ --inline:off -$A4 -$R+ -$Q+ --doc --no-config -B -LUrtl;vcl;ReportingR;ComponentsR -Q -AWinTypes=Windows;WinProcs=Windows;DbiTypes=BDE;DbiProcs=BDE;DbiErrs=BDE -DDEBUG;CONSTRAINT_CHECKING;_VER6;EUREKALOG_VER6;EurekaLog -V -VN -GD --drc -W-SYMBOL_DEPRECATED -W-SYMBOL_PLATFORM -W-UNIT_PLATFORM -W-UNIT_DEPRECATED Myproject.dpr
I found the answer in a comment to the original blog post. It turns out that in Delphi XE they changed the name of the Win32LibraryPath property to DelphiWin32LibraryPath. Changing the batch script accordingly fixes the issue.
The first path $(BDS)\Lib for XE,XE2 and XE 10.2 should be change for $(BDSLIB)\$(PLATFORM)\release
