I have just downloaded Xcode 9.0 and all the components. When I am trying to lunch simulator it is showing me blurred. I have restarted Xcode and Simulator but that doesn't help. This is happening with all the simulators. Am I missing any thing ?

I had a specific issue reported in iOS 12.4 in my project and so I wanted to install the iOS 12.4 simulator in Xcode (Xcode 11.5).
I went to the Preferences -> Components and installed iOS Simulator 12.4. It showed the installation successful and shows simulator with a blue checkbox as it is in.
I killed the Xcode and restarted. However, the Simulator is not showing up in the List of simulators for some reason.
Anybody have come across such an issue before?
Thank you in advance!
I am using Xcode 10.0 on macOs 10.13.6, in past several days I am facing issue on xcode simulator that "Simulator shows black screen always" Even not showing boot screen when device boot or simulator boots
Xcode still shows Launching, Attaching application to simulator
Even XCode shows Running of on Device still black screen
Note: It is not issue of lock button simulator tried it also.
Tried multiple solutions including Simulator > Reset content and setting. ,
Delete Derived Data, Tested on different simulator of different iOS Versions, Checked with multiple Projects
None of above solved my problem, I can run application on only my personal physical Device, Attached Image on links
Anyone seeing the simulator like this as attached?
With new Xcode Version 9.0 (9A235), my simulator hangs as shown in picture, and I have to restart it to get it fixed.
Ever since this newest update, the app icon is missing and showing as a generic app icon on my iPad running iOS 8.3. Everything else works fine as far as I can tell. On my iPhone running the newest iOS, everything seems ok (the icon shows up). I have specified the App icon in images.xcassets. Is this an iOS bug?

So it just never launches, even without a project when I just want to start the simulator from XCode, all I get is the phone with a black screen in it, the home button will not even work, the screen remains black forever
However if I just go to hardware -> device -> iOS 6.1 to switch the iOS version to 6.1 instead of 7.1, it will launch the home screen, so it must be an issue with the 7.1 simulator that came with the fresh XCode install (5.1.1) And I got the iOS 6.1 simulator using the XCode downloads.
What I tried doing:
iOS Simulator -> Reset Content and Settings..
Restarting the computer
Deleting everything in /Users/xxx/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator
Thanks!
