Is there a way to receive or get the image sent from Facebook Messenger Chatbot to Amazon Lex?
Currently when I send an image to my chatbot in Facebook Messenger it doesn't reply or have the "seen" status.
Unfortunately, no.
AWS Lex is a conversation bot that only responds to voice and text.
You should setup an API Gateway which will connect to your FB bot.
This API Gateway will forward the request to Lambda function, which will do pre-processing, image processing etc, then forward the request to Lex using PostText (if required) or directly reply to your FB bot. Lex, then, can call one more Lambda function as it normally does.
Your architecture will then look like below image:
Instead of Twillio you can use Facebook, and in the Lambda function you can decide which requests to forward to Lex and where you need to apply image processing or anything.
See this link for detailed information.
Hope it helps.

I have a BOT running which reponds to api/messages URL from the BOT Framework Emulator, and I can send text to it.
However what I need to do is write an application which sends text to the BOT over this URL. That is basically does what the BOT Framework Emulator does when I enter text and send it, probably over the graph API.
I am aware of information which demonstrates sending to a chat in a channel, but I just need to send to the BOT itself.
Can anyone advise how I can do this, or is there a suitable sample which demonstrates it.
Thanks
At the end of the day, your bot is really just a web api endpoint. If you set up a tunneling service like ngrok, you can use it's built-in web viewer to see the traffic that is sent to you bot, e.g. via the emulator or even via the azure bot registration page (there is a similar emulator built into the page in Azure). Once you've seen that traffic, you can essentially just mirror it from whatever you want to call from - it's essentially a json payload.
However, considering your bot is just a web api, I'm not sure why you want to "call" your bot from another app. Why not just make another endpoint that you can use for app-to-app communication (like a normal api endpoint). You can then refactor your code so that whatever you need to do can be done either via a bot message OR via the API call.
I have integrated rasa assistant with twilio to show chat in watsaap messenger.
Currently, when i send the message to the bot this error is coming up.
I faced this issue while trying the Twilio WhatsApp API with test credentials (expecting it to work).
You need to use the LIVE Credentials instead of the Test Credentials. The test credentials do not support WhatsApp at time of writing. It will cost you some money per successful API call (because it is a real API call to WhatsApp).
This error indicates the destination (To:) number is not WhatsApp enabled. If that is not the case, you should open a ticket with Twilio via the Twilio console to have them further investigate.
Twilio could not find a Channel with the From address
I'm using Twilio platform to provide whatsapp messages. I'm saving medias on external link (S3 bucket) and I'd like to know how much time this external link should keep available on S3 for the final user get images downloadables.
Did you check your Twilio message logs, to see if Twilio is hosting the media files for you, which were pulled from your S3 bucket when you made the outbound API call?

I Imagine it is handled in a similar manner to SMS.
Can I use Alexa skill from my iOS application (just like we do it from the Echo dot etc)?
I checked a few old links which are working as follows, and I think it can be done using AVS:
record the message
upload it and get Alexa's response
Play it using some player
For that, it needs token (which can be obtained if a user logs in).
I checked a few SO links (link1, link2) as well but didn't get the answer.
Is there any SDK or API to do it? I didn't get enough info from AWS documentation.
Is it even possible? How to use AVS in my iOS app?
I believe you need to explore AWS LEX. It is the same service that powers Alexa. It allows you to create conversational bots, that can consume voice or text input and can give back voice or text output. You can integrate lex in any application whether it is mobile, web or voice application.
Here is a useful link that you can follow to understand how you can utilize LEX for your iOS app.
Deploying an Amazon Lex Bot in Mobile Applications
We are setting up a chat bot through Dialogflow. A user will receive a weblink to the bot in a call or SMS sent through twilio. I'm wondering if it is possible for us to set up an HTTP get request to twilio in fulfillment so that we can set a context parameter to the user's phone number in the fulfillment inline editor in Dialogflow.
I took a look at twilio's api docs but could only find information on HTTP requests regarding numbers purchased or available for purchase through twilio.
So to clarify: in Dialogflow's fulfillment inline editor, we want to set a context parameter equal to the user's phone number that twilio called or sent the SMS to with a weblink to our chat bot.
Thanks!

If I'm understanding right, you want to send a URL to a user via SMS (or over the phone?) which will link them to a web based chat with your bot. And you want to be able to link that chat back to the original phone number?
If that is the case, then the first thing that comes to mind for me would be to create a unique URL for each phone number you send this message to. If you store a link between the URL and the number it is sent to in a database somewhere, then when th euser clicks through to it you can recover the phone number and apply it to your Dialogflow context.
I don't believe you need to make any requests to the Twilio API for this aside from sending the initial SMS.
I hope this helps.
