Open popup conditional from controler MVC And Retrieve the answer - asp.net-mvc

I want from my controller open a poup-up that contains data and ask a question to the user. According to his answer, I continue or stop treatment.
Function Traitement(model As TraitementViewModel, confirm_value As String) As ActionResult
Try
If (ModelState.IsValid) Then
Dim exception As Exception = Nothing
Dim mois As Integer = Mid(model.dateTraitement, 4, 2)
Dim annee As Integer = Right(model.dateTraitement, 4)
Session("mois") = mois
Session("annee") = annee
Dim extract As Extraction = New Extraction()
Dim result As Integer = extract.Recherche(mois, annee).Rows.Count()
If (result <> 0) Then
OPEN POPUP
Artciles Montant
1 100

Google Sheet If dropdown

I have drop down for column A where I want to select value from drop down only for certain times (ie. 3 times), after I select value from dropdown 3 times, if I try to select it 4th time, value should be removed from dropdown or not able to select. Is this possible using excel or google sheet?
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nbXAkK565V24KDTAzE68q8rQgQWzn-jDJz_6piNYyEw/edit?usp=sharing
In above google sheet, I had selected Red 3 times, now if I want to select Red 4th time, I should not be able to select or Red should be removed from list.
I know using excel VBA, I can do same using below code, but can we add same to google sheets?
Option Explicit
Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
Dim rngDV As Range
Dim oldVal As String
Dim newVal As String
Dim lVal As Long
Dim check2 As Long
If Target.Count > 2 Then GoTo exitHandler
On Error Resume Next
Set rngDV = Cells.SpecialCells(xlCellTypeAllValidation)
On Error GoTo exitHandler
If rngDV Is Nothing Then GoTo exitHandler
If Intersect(Target, rngDV) Is Nothing Then
'do nothing
Else
Application.EnableEvents = False
newVal = Target.Value
Application.Undo
oldVal = Target.Value
Target.Value = newVal
lVal = Application.WorksheetFunction _
.CountIf(Columns(Target.Column), _
"*" & newVal & "*")
If lVal > 3 Then
If newVal = "" Then
'do nothing
Else
MsgBox "Not available"
Target.Value = oldVal
End If
Else
If Target.Column >= 47 And Target.Column <= 56 Then
If oldVal = "" Then
'do nothing
Else
If newVal = "" Then
'do nothing
Else
Target.Value = oldVal _
& ", " & newVal
End If
End If
End If
End If
End If
exitHandler:
Application.EnableEvents = True
End Sub
So after doing some research I found the way of achieving what you were aiming for here.
Solution
In the class data validation it mentions a method to set the validation to null within the range class. You can check more details about this method here. In that method it mentions that if the parameter is set to null, it will disable the data validation (dropdowns) therefore not allowing to select other values.
Here is a piece of sample code self explained with comments to achieve what you want in your specific case:
function onEdit(){
// get the sheet and values to check if in that range there are more than 3 elements selected
var ss = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSheet();
var values = ss.getRange('A1:A18').getValues();
// this variable is for counting the amount of elements selected
var count = 0;
for(i=0;i<values.flat().length;i++){
// if an element in that range is not empty
if(values.flat()[i]!=''){
count++;
}
}
// if the count is over 3 then disable the dropdowns
if(count>3){
ss.getRange('A1:A18').setDataValidation(null);
}
}
I hope this has helped you. Let me know if you need anything else or if you did not understood something. :)

Google Closure Compile REST Api suddenly Throws Error 405 "Method not allowed"

I've been using Closure as part of y application to compress Javascript for a while now, but just started getting an error 405 - Method not allowed
My code as below was working for a couple of years, but has now stopped.
NOTE: this is not called frequently, just when ever any changes are detected in the Javascript files in my application.
I get no further error information from the Closure app than this.
Obviously this code performs a POST operation. If I use the form found here https://closure-compiler.appspot.com/home, it works, but if I either browser to the URL or use my code I get Error 405, it's almost as if my code is trying a GET method... but it's not...
Any ideas?

VBA to read in tab delimited file

I have some code which reads in a tab delimited file where cell reference B2 matches the reference in the first column in the tab delimited file. This works fine where the text file is small. The below works on a sample file with aa bb and cc as the headers with dummy data.
Option Explicit
Sub TestImport()
Call ImportTextFile(Sheet1.Range("B1"), vbTab, Sheet2.Range("A4"))
End Sub
Public Sub ImportTextFile(strFileName As String, strSeparator As String, rngTgt As Range)
Dim lngTgtRow As Long
Dim lngTgtCol As Long
Dim varTemp As Variant
Dim strWholeLine As String
Dim intPos As Integer
Dim intNextPos As Integer
Dim intTgtColIndex As Integer
Dim wks As Worksheet
Set wks = rngTgt.Parent
intTgtColIndex = rngTgt.Column
lngTgtRow = rngTgt.Row
Open strFileName For Input Access Read As #1
While Not EOF(1)
Line Input #1, strWholeLine
varTemp = Split(strWholeLine, strSeparator)
If CStr(varTemp(0)) = CStr(Range("B2")) Then
wks.Cells(lngTgtRow, intTgtColIndex).Resize(, UBound(varTemp) + 1).Value = varTemp
lngTgtRow = lngTgtRow + 1
End If
Wend
Close #1
Set wks = Nothing
End Sub
I am trying to get the below bit of code to work using ADO as this will run much faster on a text file with a couple of million records however I am getting an error on the '.Open str' part of the code (no value given for one or more required parameters).
It looks like it is to do with how I am defining the string- could you review and see if there is something I am missing...?
Sub QueryTextFile()
t = Timer
Dim cnn As Object
Dim str As String
Set cnn = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
cnn.Provider = "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0"
cnn.ConnectionString = "Data Source=C:\Users\Davids Laptop\Documents\Other Ad Hoc\Test Files\;Extended Properties=""text;HDR=Yes;FMT=Delimited;"""
cnn.Open
Dim rs As Object
Set rs = CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")
str = "SELECT * FROM [test1.txt] WHERE [aa]=" & Chr(34) & Range("B2") & Chr(34)
With rs
.ActiveConnection = cnn
.Open str
Sheet1.Range("A4").CopyFromRecordset rs
.Close
End With
cnn.Close
MsgBox Timer - t
End Sub

LSXLC ODBC Stored Procedure

I'm trying to connect to an Oracle RDB database using LSXLC (ODBC Connector).
But when it comes to stored procedures I'm having a hard time getting it to work.
The code below always results in "Error: Parameter name not supplied: fnl_date, Connector 'odbc2', Method -Call-". The error is triggered on "count = connection.Call(input, 1, result)"
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Public Function testLsxlcProc()
On Error GoTo handleError
Dim connection As LCConnection("odbc2")
connection.Server = "source"
connection.Userid = "userid"
connection.Password = "password"
connection.procedure = "proc_name"
connection.Connect
If connection.IsConnected Then
Dim input As New LCFieldList()
Dim result As New LCFieldList()
Dim break As LCField
Set break = input.Append("fnl_date", LCTYPE_TEXT)
break.Text = "2014-07-01"
Dim agrNo As LCField
Set agrNo = input.Append("fnl_agreement_no", LCTYPE_TEXT)
agrNo.Text = "123456"
Dim curr As LCField
Set curr = input.Append("fnl_currency_code", LCTYPE_TEXT)
curr.Text = "SEK"
Dim stock As LCField
Set stock = input.Append("fnl_stock_id", LCTYPE_TEXT)
stock.Text = "01"
connection.Fieldnames = "status, value"
Dim count As Integer
count = connection.Call(input, 1, result)
Call logger.debug("Count: " & count)
Else
Error 2000, "Unable to connect to database."
End If
handleExit:
connection.Disconnect
Exit Function
handleError:
On Error Resume Next
Call logger.error(Nothing)
Resume handleExit
End Function
Thanks in advance!
I had made a stupid mistake and had a mismatch between the name of the input parameter in Domino and the name of the input parameter in the stored procedure.
Make sure all names match up and there shouldn't be a problem.
Stored-Procedure "mylib.MyStoredProc" wird aufgerufen ...
LcSession.Status = 12325: LC-Error: errCallStoredProc 12325 (Error: Parameter name not supplied: P_S651_AC, Connector 'odbc2', Method -Call-)
Solution: changed "mylib" into "MYLIB" and all was well.
Check not only Parameter-Names, but also the Search-Path.

Why does my stored procedure always think there is a value?

I have an ASP.NET 2010 app hitting a SQL 2005 db. I am attempting to build a stored proc dynamically, depending on the values selected on a search screen. I have done this many times in previosu versions of .net & sql with no problem. However, now, my IF statement always always acts as though no data was passed in. I have debugged the app and am sure that data is being set. I should note that when I run the procedure directly, with or without data, the correct data is returned.
Here is the rather simple stored proc..
ALTER PROCEDURE get_cases_by_search_criteria
#vin as varchar(30) = null
AS
declare #sqlstr varchar(1000)
set #sqlstr = 'SELECT
[Case].CaseID,
[Case].VIN,
[Case].Make,
[Case].Model,
[Case].VehicleYear,
if #vin is not null and #vin <> ''
set #sqlstr = #sqlstr + ' and ' + ('[Case].VIN = ''' + convert(varchar,#vin) + '''')
exec(#sqlstr)
RETURN
And here is the code that calls the stored proc...
Public Function GetCases(ByVal oSearchCriteria As SearchCriteria) As List(Of BE.Case)
Dim lstCase As New List(Of BE.Case)
Dim oCase As BE.Case
Dim oProviderFactory As New ProviderFactory

'non-specific parameter

param1.Value = DBNull.Value
oCmd.Parameters.Add(param1)
Else
param1 = oFactory.CreateParameter()
param1.ParameterName = "#vin"
param1.DbType = DbType.String
param1.Value = oSearchCriteria.VIN
oCmd.Parameters.Add(param1)
End If
oCmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure
oCmd.CommandText = "get_cases_by_search_criteria"
Using (oConnection)
oConnection.Open()
oReader = oCmd.ExecuteReader()
While oReader.Read
oCase = New BE.Case
'Case
If oReader("CaseID") IsNot System.DBNull.Value Then oCase.CaseID = oReader("CaseID")
If oReader("Make") IsNot System.DBNull.Value Then oCase.Make = oReader("Make")

If oReader("VehicleYear") IsNot System.DBNull.Value Then oCase.VehicleYear = oReader("VehicleYear")
If oReader("VIN") IsNot System.DBNull.Value Then oCase.VIN = oReader("VIN")

End While

Catch ex As Exception
