Firebase Push Notifications - ios

I've got FCM working, but I can't get the traditional banner notifications working.

Everything is configured according to the documentation. I'm getting console outputs when I send messages to my app via the notifications console on Firebase.
However, banners don't appear when notifications are sent. When the app is backgrounded, notifications don't appear to be sent either - only when the app is in the foreground.
Looking for help. Thanks in advance!

Try disabling method swizzling.
Add FirebaseAppDelegateProxyEnabled to info.plist and set it to NO.
Then add this code to the app delegate

push notification appearing in Xcode output but not showing on actual phone

I am currently working on setting up Firebase push notifications with the console and with Firebase functions. I went through the documentation that was available on github to get everything setup, but for some reason nothing appears on my actual phone that I am testing it on, not the simulator. When I send a push notification from my Firebase console to my phone the message appears in my console, but there's no sound or banner that comes down wether i'm in my phone or not. You need to pass 'UNNotificationPresentationOptions' in completion handler like this in 'willPresent notification' delegate method

Probably the app is running foregrounded, try to put the app in the background and try again. Check the settings of iPhone to see if banners are disabled for your app. Or if you are sending a silent push. Good luck.

Push notifications in Swift iOS

I am working with iOS Swift Notifications Module. I'm not getting the Alert/Banner Notification on the device.
I’m able to get notification when the App is open i.e. in Foreground, but not when app in in Background or Terminated.

For iOS 10.*, you need to give push notification present option in completion handler of willPresent notification method list below. Try like this may be helpful.

Device receive notification but never appears on my device

In my Firebase console I added from my KeyChain my Apple iOS Development Push Service .p12 key also, I added the GoogleService-Info.plist and the identifiers are ok.

FCM notification not receiving in IOS 10 swift 3

I have been trying to get firebase push-notification in my ios app for a long time. I have tried everything on the internet I could find. But sadly no luck.
Any help would be appreciated.

I solved the problem by adding the code below to the project.
FIRInstanceIDAPNSTokenType.Sandbox will be used when you install the app though TestFlight,
and FIRInstanceIDAPNSTokenType.Prod when your app goes live on the App Store.

There is a problem with priority in this case. If you are not setting it means at normal priority, it may have chance that notification not appears immediately. If you are setting priority to high that means you receive notification immediately. may be because of the way iOS bundles notifications handles it like that.
So what does High Priority do: (Instant messaging)
Attempts to deliver messages immediately and simply makes a network connection with your app server as soon as notification appears to your device. But one more thing you need to consider is power consumption of device. High priority consume more battery than normal one.
