Download build from Travis - travis-ci

Is there a way to download latest compiled travis binary? I want to try the unreleased version, but I can't compile it by myself.
Is there a button to download the compiled software?

Travis doesn't compile binaries and save them, it just compiles them and makes sure they can be compiled without errors.

Is it required to build LLVM in order to build hipSYCL?

I'm running Centos 7 and am trying to build hipSYCL (see here)
The issue is that hipSYCL needs to have cmake info from the LLVM build (via the LLVM_DIR cmake variable).
This is problematic for me because building LLVM requires a massive 35Gb for the libraries and exes. I don't have that much memory to spare.
I did find a build of llvm-toolset-8.0 online for Centos 7 and installed it, but to my surprise, that didn't seem to work with LLVM_DIR because there's no cmake files (since I didn't build it locally).
So, my question would be, is there a way to build hipSYCL using pre-built LLVM-clang?
If I'm missing or misunderstanding something, I'd appreciate any help.
LLVM publishes the necessary cmake files, and the binary OS packages I've seen include it, generally in a directory called /usr/lib/llvm*/lib/cmake and in a package called something like llvm-*-dev.

Delphi XE2 can not load CnPack

I have a fresh win 10 installation with Delphi XE2.
I tried to install CnPack but there was no chance (It says couldn't find wizard):
Also registry is OK and the file is in there and the permissions are OK.
Its version is CnWizards_1.1.3.896 which is currently the latest version.
I have tried older versions as well but there was no chance.
Any idea ?
I had the same problem and I got it to resolve to do this.
I downloaded the Source file and the Installer file.
I used this version 1.1.3.896.
First I open the source in Delphi and Compile, Build and Install the following components.
CnPack_DXE2.dpk. (Compile and Build)
CnWizards_DXE2.dpr (Compile and Build)
dclCnPack_DXE2.dpk (Compile, Build and Install)
Execute the Installer file.
Now, this is the secret for me.
Replaced the files (CnWizards_DXE2.dll).
In the Third Step, it creates CnWizards_DXE2.dll (CnWizards\bin). Copy this file and paste in the local installation ([program files\CnPack\CnWizards]).
I created the mini tutorial in Portuguese for this situation, if necessary I can send it for you.

How to compile ActionScript projects from Github source

I am new to Flash Builder development environment. I need to use the library below in my project but don't know how to compile it to produce a .swc file. I tried importing the source folder as a Flash Builder project to no avail. Can someone help please?

I have a Subversion server 1.7.1 installed and also on the client side I upgraded to 1.7.1.
I did a svn upgrade and then I get this error in Xcode.
If I repeat the svn upgrade on the terminal I get the message Can't upgrade '...' as it is not a pre-1.7 working copy directory.
So what is wrong? How an I solve the problem?
Xcode doesn't yet support SVN 1.7. Only 1.6 is supported. In order to fix your problem, you'll need to switch to using an SVN 1.6 compatible working copy.
Since SVN 1.7 client is unable to work with 1.6 working copies at all, you'll need to remove SVN 1.7.x from your client and revert to 1.6. (Or perhaps just adjust your PATH so the SVN 1.6 tools are first.) Once 1.6 is back, delete or move aside your existing working copy and check out a fresh copy with SVN 1.6. Now Xcode should be able to work with your working copy.
Note that you can freely use SVN 1.6 client with an SVN 1.7 server. Some of the newer features won't be available, but it will work. There's no need to downgrade the server or your server-side repositories.
Keep an eye on the Xcode release notes in updates as I'm sure Apple will note when Xcode is capable of using SVN 1.7. When a 1.7 compatible release of Xcode becomes available, it should then be safe to upgrade your client to 1.7 and migrate your working copy again.
There is a post that appears to imply that you can fool XCode into using svn 1.7 client by changing your PATH and setting up a couple of soft links in strategic places. Unfortunately, the post is in Chinese. Fortunately, Google translate and the presence of UNIX commands make it possible to decrypt what the post is saying. I will try it in the next few days, and update the answer if anything useful comes out of this exercise.
EDIT: I tried the steps from the post, and it worked. Here is what I did:
Downloaded and installed svn client 1.7.2 into /opt/subversion
Added /opt/subversion/bin to my PATH in .bash_profile
Created a backup directory /Developer/usr/bin/orig.svn
Moved /Developer/usr/bin/svn* to /Developer/usr/bin/orig.svn
Ran ln -s /opt/subversion/bin/svn* /Developer/usr/bin/
After that I re-started XCode, went to Organizer, and was able to attach a working copy of a checkout created with svn 1.7.2 client. Organizer showed a green dot next to the repository, displayed a list of revisions, etc., so at this point I believe that the trick has worked.

The package will install to /opt/subversion while the xcode version of SVN is installed in /usr/bin. If you prepend /opt/subversion/bin to your path variable, it will be chosen instead of the xcode version.
If you don't want to mess with your path, you can just alias one version or the other. man alias for details.

How do I run D3D9 programs (that have already been compiled) on a machine without the SDK?

I have a simple 3D application programmed in C++ and D3D9 using MSVC++ 2008 Express. Some weeks ago, I had to format my hard disk, so the DirectX SDK is not currently installed.
However, I found that the exe file that I found in my "Debug" folder for the project does not run. The error it gives is:
"This application has failed to start because d3dx9d_38.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."
Of course, it worked after I installed the SDK. Then I compiled a "release build" thinking that that was the solution. Then I uninstalled the SDK and tried to run the .exe file.
Still gave me the error.
So how does one make such .exe files run on machines without the SDK?
I think you cannot run the app without the SDK. See XBMC, which requires the SDK to run.
However, you could try simply placing the required dll file from your SDK in the same directory as the executable.
I followed the solution as stated here.
I copied the d3dx9_38.dll file into my Release folder. It still didn't work. However, I renamed the dll file to "d3dx9d_38.dll. Then it worked.
Wondering why I had to rename to the debug version of the file even though it was a RELEASE build...
