This video is showing how to embed tweets in umbraco 7. In the current version it does not seem to work anymore. When I try to do it I get the error message "not supported".
Is there anything additionally to do to get this working? Any additional packages?
I think that feature uses OEMBED, it's possible that Twitter have updated their API and the functionality is broken. I'd log an issue on the Umbraco Issue logger: http://issues.umbraco.org so that the core dev are aware of the issue and can investigate further.
Could also try this package https://our.umbraco.org/projects/website-utilities/utwit/ , have used it before and works perfect but haven't tried it on v7 yet but it says it work and i trust Matt (the guy that made it big umbraco dev and contributor) so should work.

I set up the live example of the Revit Design Check on my Autodesk Hub.
Link Here: https://revitdesigncheck.herokuapp.com/
After uploading the example model, it never created an issue.
does the live example still work? Or has the older api used in the live example been deprecated? Thanks.
That was indeed a problem, wrong Activity name (probably from old deploy), thanks for bringing this up. It's now fixed, and it created the issue as expected (see image)
I had been happily using Java live reload while debugging my Vaadin application over the past few months.
Today, after I started my browser and directed it to my locally running Vaadin application I got a popup in the lower right corner stating:
Java live reload unavailable. Live reload for Java changes is currently not set up. Find out how to make use of this functionality to boost your workflow. Read more
Clicking onto the read more link (pointing to 'https://vaadin.com/docs/v14/flow/workflow/workflow-overview') just brings me to a "404 Page Not Found" error page.
So - two or actually three questions:
what could cause my live-reload functionality go missing? I am using MS Edge and the Live-reload plugin is enabled (and it used to work until yesterday).
where has the page gone explaining how to set that up?
and finally: Any idea, what to check or fix to get this working again? I consider that pretty essential functionality for efficient UI development!
For question 2, you can find the documentation here: https://vaadin.com/docs/v14/guide/live-reload
I am trying to use Swagger UI to document our node.js API, so I went to http://swagger.io/docs/, down to Swagger UI Documentation -> Usage, to find this
Now, this is not the only place that provides these instructions, there are dozens of blogs & tutorials saying the same thing, so that's exactly what I did.
Cloned the repo, went into /dist/ and ran the /dist/index.html and all I get is an empty page with an error:
I'm slowly going crazy now as I can't find anything about it and literally every place I looked just has the same, copied, instructions with nothing else provided (like what could go wrong? you just open a file...)
Any help or explanations are much appreciated!
P.S. for some reason opening the /public/index.html works (mentioned nowhere on the www)
I think this is bug in new version of swagger-UI. This is fresh release and they are still modifying and fixing bugs.
Look here: Swagger-ui cannot access JS scripts. This seems to be similar problem, maybe it will help you.
Recently I got the error "automation server can't create object", for which I know the solution is to add your website to trusted sites and enable the setting: "Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe for scripting". But since this is a security issue, I searched for an alternative workaround but came up with nothing.
So, I am wondering if there is any other work around for this?
Please look at this SO question. Check if you did everything that was discussed there.
The first thing is to implement IObjectSafety interface. Then sign the activex and installer and CAB. You might also want to look at this example how to implement an activex.
I have created a website that downloads videos from Youtube. But now I want this as a firefox plugin.
I searched in google since last 2 days but hard luck to find the things. So please help me to convert my website code to firefox plugin.
Thanks
Take a look to Add-on SDK. Here the documentation, and you can also download it from Github.
I would say that the Getting Started section of Add-on SDK docs is a good place to start your reading.
You can also join the IRC channel #jetpack on irc.mozilla.org and ask help directly to the SDK team, if you have any doubt!
