I published my first App a few days ago (actually: two Apps; one Ad-free Version for Pricetier 1 and a free Version with Ads), and after the initial ~24 hours to show up in the AppStore it could be found by searching for "Dotoro" (the name of the App).
That was until yesterday afternoon. Since then, the App is nowhere to be found when searching from an iOS-Device:
I have not made any changes to the App after the initial release and iTunes Connect lists it as "ready for sale".
However, the direct Links on a Mac/PC do still work:
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1104775660
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1107224494
https://itunes.apple.com/us/developer/jan-udo/id1104775659
Is there anything i can do about this? What's the reason an App can't be found by the search anymore?

EDIT: The Apple support status website is now showing an issue for the app store, starting at 11 AM. The issue seems to be fixed at 7:30 AM
You can check Apple servers issues on this website.Today seems to be a normal day.
I advise you to open a support ticket. I check your apps on my Ipad and can not get them too. However, the autocomplete form shows me your two app names.
Hope it will help !

Apple just approved my update for my app but it doesn't show under the updates page of the app store. You have to manually go to the app page on the store and there is a cloud icon that appears that will download the update.
I named the first version of my app 6.1 for some reason, don't know why. And my update is version 2.0. Is this the reason? And if so, can i change the version number of the first to 1.0.
Apple never publishes the updates / new apps right after ready for sale. You have to be a bit patient and wait for about a day or something.
Also, it does not matter how you name your app versions. It can be whatever number you want it to be. Apple just recommends using numbers that make sense but they won't do anything about it.
Hope that helps :)

I try to upgrade Xcode to support IOS 8.2 as instructed by Auto-update from App Store.
The STATUS_CODE_ERROR at login Username and Password.
I am sure my password is right (tested with web login to the iTunes.apple.com
Any work around ?
There is no workaround as it is a problem at Apple's infrastructure.
You find articles about this by web search or people complaining on twitter etc. Example:
http://www.neowin.net/news/apple-services-including-app-store-hit-by-major-worldwide-outage
Useful site for checking services of big companies as it is fed by user complaints: https://downdetector.com/
P.S.: Apple's https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ currently does NOT show any failures… :-/
Just saw on Apple's page https://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ that they mention the problem: "iCloud Account & Sign In - All users were affected Users may have been unable to sign in.". The wording indicates that Apple considers the problem as resolved (however, still no login...).

I've been using TestFlight for my internal beta testings, everything was set and it was working for a while. after one of the submitted binaries got rejected from AppStore review, there seems to be a problem.
On any new uploaded binaries and turning on the Beta testing switch in iTunes Connect, I get the notification from testflight app that the new version is ready to be downloaded but on the app it says "UNAVAILABLE Expires in 30 days" and when I click on the beta app in TestFlight, on top it says "This version is no longer available for testing" even though the expire date is in a month from now.
Any workarounds for this?
So I solved this issue, not once but twice, apparently it's a bug.
what you have to do is turn off all the beta testings and then turn on the one you want to test, and then it works :)

I hold my application for "Developer release after approval" on iTunes Store. I have released my application and current status is "Ready to Sale". I am still not able to see the latest version on the iTunes Store. I am already waiting from last 6 Hours. Could anyone please tell me how much time Apple takes to make live the new version of the application?
As per the documentation,
Your app version will then be live on the store pending the customary processing times. The delay is due to propagating your application's status across their all iTunes servers. This process usually takes different time for different servers. But, it'll be available within a day.
It can happen. It might take an undetermined period of time before the app actually show up in searches.Normally for my apps the time period was about half an hour to one hour although I remember one of my apps took about half a day to appear normally on the iTunes. In the initial period you might also notice that not only you cant search for it but the app does not even appear in your apps list in the iTunes.
Usually it takes upto 24 hours.

I've recently had my app rejected, but they have not sent over the "explanation" email yet. has anyone experienced a rejection without a tandem explanation or reasoning from app review?
When your app is rejected without a letter, it usually means it crashed. Check it out again and resubmit.
Could be the app not being compatible with OS 3.0.
Check this: techradar.com - New iPhone Apps Must Be 3.0 Compatible
same thing happened to me, my app was rejected sometime last night, but I got no notification. It would suck if it was the 3.0 compatible issue because my app was submitted almost a week before that email came out.
Relax, we've got an app rejected in March, now it's July and we never got any explanation: sometimes they just don't send anything
