Markup feature in images in swift - ios

I've created a chat app, where user can chat and share images. Now I need to add feature where user can edit and perform some annotation on images. I've heard from iOS 9 there's a new feature called markup to perform editting on images. I've checked UIActivityViewController and couldn't find in it. Is this feature available and can it fit to my requirement? If not, is there any other alternatives that I can approach?

Yes you are Right Markup feature is available from ios 9.
iOS 9 has introduced a set of markup tools for images that you attach
with a message in the Mail app.
To use this feature,
1) Open the Mail app and compose a new message (or reply to an old one if that’s what you need to do).
2) Tap and hold on the message body area and in the floating actions bar, tap the Insert Photo or Video option. From your camera roll, insert a photo.
3) Tap and hold on the photo and in the floating actions bar that appears on the photo, tap the new ‘Markup’ option.
--> Your photo will be enter in Editing mode.

From the link whats-new you will find that apple implement markup option for mail.
So, As per your Question , Markup image facility provided bydefault by apple in Mail. so, i think you can't implement it programatically. but when user will open the mail from UIActivitycontroller from your application then user will get Markup feature with following above procedure. (But user have to manually do process to enable Markup feature)

For iOS, is it possible to have a Toast message that can display on top of system app Settings?

I have a button in my app that brings up the system app settings UI. Instructions are given around the button.
I want to provide further instructions to the user via a toast message after the settings page shows up so they know exactly what to do. It's not a super intuitive setting, related to notification style, and such instructions would be a lot clearer when the user is actually on the settings page.
In Android, this is easily done via toast.makeText().show(). The resulting toast would have no problem going on top of the system settings UI.
In iOS though, I've looked up several guides, mostly using the UIView animation. The problem is, the resulting toast window seems to only work inside the app itself. It cannot go on top of the system settings UI.
Is what I want to achieve technically possible in iOS?
No. You are sandboxed; Settings is a different app and you cannot impose anything on to its interface.

How do I invoke iOS photo editing extension?

Let's say I'm writing a word-processing application. Users can embed images using the app. Now since the application is not a photo editor, naturally it would delegate photo editing of embedded images to other applications.
The question is, how to do that? How to invoke photo editing extensions in an iOS app?
Theoretically it should be as simple as passing an image, invoke the extension, and then get another image back as the "edited" image. However the SDK documentation doesn't seem to provide any hint on how to do this.
Looks like the SDK doc actually says it doesn't provide a UI per se:
When using built-in editing controls, the image picker controller enforces certain options. For still images, the picker enforces a square cropping as well as a maximum pixel dimension. For movies, the picker enforces a maximum movie length and resolution. If you want to let the user edit full-size media, or specify custom cropping, you must provide your own editing UI."

I'm looking at the Adobe Creative SDK Image Editor, which seems to provide a UI. Might show some of their branding in the photo editor, however. Hope to follow up...

Facebook like button in iPhone native application

This question seem duplicate but problem is that other question are old or not giving answer as my need.
What I have done:
I have integrated facebook for iOS 5 and iOS 6 both and it is sharing on wall properly.
Problem
My application have a UIButton "LIKE" to like my application page on facebook.
I want that if user click on this button he should be able to like that page.
I have search for hours but not able to get any proper solution.
For iOS 6 I get following link of apple iOS 6 site

Here in third segment it show an image where app page is open in UIViewController with facebook like button.
and it said that we can open it without leaving our app.
I search but don't find how to open this page in UIViewController as we open dialog for share.

As far as I know, the app shown by Apple with the Like button integrated (i.e. the App Store) is using a webview to display its content. This button is not something you get from a native code. The reason is that Facebook don't wan't to get Like actions without a user action to trigger it (I heard that from a Facebook guy at the App Day 2012 conference in Paris). And the only way to ensure that is to encapsulate and hide that in an HTML component.
What I would suggest is to instantiate a small webview displaying a page containing only the Like button of the desired page. Let us know if it work! ;-)
Mathieu is right, there is no way you can do that with a normal UIButton.
You have to use an iFrame (loaded in a UIWebView) if you want the button to like the page immediately. I did not like this approach as it takes some time for the iFrame to load.

I ended up having a UIButton that opens the Facebook page in Facebook.app or Safari.app. The user has to press the like button manually.
It's just allowed for testing purposes and iOS only.

creating an interactive page (videos, photos) for sharing on iOS device

I am building an iOS app, using storyboard. I have created a page where the user can create a page that will then be then published on DropBox and shared between all app users. this page lets you add photos, videos (not yet), and textviews (with scrolling enabled). Until know when the user presses the upload button, a screenshot is taken and uploaded, then views from a table view. but obviously it is just an image, so you can't scroll the textfields to see all the content and if I wanted to add the video support it would not be able to play it. I tried doing research on the internet, but I am a bit confused. Do I have to save all the components (UITextField...) separately, and place them in the same DropBox folder, and then put them all back together? What do you suggest? Is there a way?
Of course you will have to save the data separately...how else would your program know how to create the view? I recommend JSON or XML. Don't ask about how to structure it, that is a different question and one you should think about yourself.

iPad Photo Gallery Framework

I am looking for some framework that allows me to create a Photo Gallery that allows the user to swipe through pictures, and then select one and it takes them to a specific view based on that image. I seen this idea in another App, and didnt know if this was an open source framework, or if there is anything similar.
