Is there any way to modify the label using gmail query (GTLQueryGmail).
I had gone through the api documentations the api which perform this is:- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify
I want this to be done through gmail Query in iOS
Thanks in advance
I don't know what GTL Query is specifically, I imagine some iOS client object. the "https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify" you mention is just the auth scope name you need in your oauth2 token in to be allowed to make the call (there are a few that'll work for modifying labels actually).
What you want to do is use the message modify() operation, I don't know what that translates to in iOS but here are docs on it:
https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/v1/reference/users/messages/modify
Or to change labels on all messages in a thread, use thread modify:
https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/v1/reference/users/threads/modify

I'm trying to create a simple application that reminds me of two weeks before I was supposed to get a delivery. My data is store in a Priority database and I'm looking for a way to read it using code (prefer in Python).
I read about Priority REST API and tested it with the examples that are in the site(https://prioritysoftware.github.io/restapi/request/). it seems like this is the way to do it but I see that it requires a URL to the Priority account and I don't know what is my URL because I use the desktop app.
So I have 2 questions:
Is using the API is the best way?
how do I find the URL to my account?
In addition I would be happy for further help regarding my idea for a program reminiscent of two weeks before receiving a delivery (examples, tips, ways to implement and so on).
Thank in advance
In order to use Priority API you need to install its application server.
More information can be found here.
If you are working locally you can access carefully directly to your SQL server and look for your data.
Priority has built-in functionality to send email reminders (BPM rules)
I can get the Information of user data and email address from google api with help from this link.
But my task is to get all user mails from a Gmail account, and display them in a table view.
I checked the Gmail API but can't get enough reference.
Is there any way to do it ?
You probably want to look into threads. While normally a programmer would probably think of background processes when talking about threads, Google refers to "groups" of messages as threads (how it groups an email and replies into a single message in the client). While the API Reference for threads has an example in Java, it shouldn't be too hard to translate it into Obj-C if you're already set up to make other calls to the Google API.
Specifically, look into the list method (linked above). Alternatively, you could use messages.list but they will be much less organized. Also know that I'm pretty sure you'll need to increase the maxResults as I believe the default max is 100.
I was wondering if anyone could point out how to create new user / lead entries in salesforce?
I've tried looking at http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/api_rest/index.htm but I can't seem to find anything.
I think you can't do it out of the box with the Rest API, but, you can make your custom webservices with Apex REST (check out some code example: http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/apexcode/Content/apex_rest_code_sample_basic.htm )
I found myself doing that for things I could not achieve using the regular Rest API, in your case, you could do just about the same thing.
We're looking to create a tool to help with time management in Redmine. The issue we are currently having is that we want to get a list of issues that are watched by a particular user but can't find an API for it. Does anyone know if this is possible or are we just going to have to try and modify Redmine directly?
SOLUTION: Similar to the solution provided below by dmf85, I found a solution to this problem that worked for me. The Issues API takes a query_id as one of its parameters. What I ended up doing was filtering my issues by Watcher (like dmf85 said) then saving the query. I then used the query_id from that saved custom query in my API call.
At least in Redmine 3.1, there’s an undocumented parameter for the Issues API that allows you to specify a watcher directly: watcher_id. It works just like assigned_to_id, you can pass either a user ID (i.e. watcher_id=23) or the special string me (i.e. watcher_id=me).
An example of URL could be like the following: https://example.com/redmine/issues.json?watcher_id=me&key=redmine_api_key
Under your issues tab in the interface, click:
add filter
watcher
select a watcher in the box
Then, click the atom, csv, or pdf link at the bottom for a link that you can write a program to consume at your discretion.
Does this help?
For an event in a couple of weeks I'd like to make an web page/app which display tweets from a specific user, a specific hashtag and all #reply's at the first user in 3 boxes on the screen.
However I've never tried this. I want to use either .NET (C#) or HTML/CSS/JS since I'm proficient in those. Are there any libraries/API's I can use? Or is there an readily available freeware/open-source app I can use?
Have you seen TweetSharp?
Use Twitter's profile and search widgets. Profile for the first box, a search of the hash tag for the second box, and a search of to:username for the third box.
I actually just posted this as an answer to another question:
I just updated a plugin to work with the Twitter 1.1 API. Unfortunately, per Twitter's urging, you will have to perform the actual request from server-side code. However, you can pass the response to the plugin and it will take care of the rest. I don't know what framework you are running, but I have already added sample code for making the request in C#, and will be adding sample code for PHP, shortly.
The plugin makes a call to statuses/user_timeline, but you will likely want to look at statuses/filter or statuses/search, instead. All you will have to do is add your desired parameters (hashtag, replies, etc.) to the server-side code and it should work (with the addition of your security keys and tokens, of course).
Good luck! :)
