Use Vaadin's Valo theme outside of Vaadin - vaadin

I find the Vaadin's Valo theme so beautiful that I would like to use it without Vaadin. That is, I want to grab only the theme files (*.scss) and use them in an app written in Emberjs.
Does the Vaadin license allows this scenario?

Assuming the license of Vaadin's Valo theme is the same as the main project (e.g Apache 2.0), the answer is yes, as along as you comply with the license terms that are rather simple.

Ability to not use ShadowDOM in Monaco Editor

I'm using Monaco Editor + a lot of custom CSS styles in my project. The problem is that "quick fix" feature (languages.CodeActionProvider) uses ShadowDOM for showing a quick fix suggestions:
Because of that, I cannot override any CSS-styles of this component due to ShadowDOM encapsulation feature.
Thus, the questions are:
Does Monaco Editor provide any API/workaround/etc. in order to not use ShadowDOM?
Mb it is possible to override CSS-styles of ShadowDOM element using only CSS ?
Thanks in advance!

Style issues due to Sap Fiori 2.0 update

I have some style issues with the SAP Fiori 2.0 upgrade.
In the new version, the sap_bluecrystal style theme has been deprecated, and has been replaced with sap_belize. In our Fiori applications some style is not showing good since the upgrade and we need to revise it.
Is there a way to migrate the old sap_bluecrystal styles to the new ones?
Thank you for your time.
It would be helpful if you describe the problem in more detail. Screenshots would be nice.
Maybe the issue is something that can be solved differently.
Otherwise we see 4 options:
Use bluecrystal, that, despite being deprecated, is still available.
Use belize
Create your own style on top of bluecrystal using the Theme Designer
Create your own style on top of belize using the Theme Designer
We generally recommend option 2.
If this is not feasible, you might go for option 4 and adapt belize to your liking.

Is there a WYSIWYG for rails that allows you to do syntax highlighting for F#?

I'm currently writing a blog web app in rails and ultimately this blog is for me to post about F#. I currently have TinyMCE installed a along with the samplecode plugin found here. However... after installing it I realized that the TOOLBAR version doesn't support F#.
prismjs does support F# highlighting but TinyMCE does not! Is there a way to support F# in the tinymce drop down?
I do care about others such as Python, C#, Scala but most importantly I need F#.

I work for the company that created TinyMCE. In order to get Prism to work in TinyMCE's Codesample plugin we had to make a few changes to the Prism.js that is included with TinyMCE. (Most notably to not immediately try to add its markup to the page)
You could try to generate a new Prism.js file with additional languages and merge in the customizations we made. You would then update the plugin (and its dialog) appropriately.
The languages you see in the select list are the only ones we provide as a part of the TinyMCE open source product.

Dart Editor Visual Theme...editable?

The new visual theme picker is awesome! Thank you! We can finally "dim the lights". Although, black and, specially, blue fonts, on a dark background, are hard on the eyes. Is there some sort of editable CSS like file that we can tune?
The quick answer is to look in the files in this folder:
plugins\com.google.dart.tools.deploy_0.2.8.r15948\themes
(where r15948 is the version of the editor)
This contains a series of xml files - one per theme, where you can edit the relevant color values.
If you look at Preferences >> Visual Theme, it says:
Download more themes or create your own on eclipsecolorthemes.org. It also lets you import themes.

Requirements for cherry picking a single function out of jQuery Mobile?

I'm interested in incorporating the jQuery Mobile Datetime text input capabilities into a hobby Rails app that I'm building. I do not need any of the other jQuery Mobile features.
What is the best way to go about this? Will it work if I include nothing but the jquery.mobile.forms.textinput.js file from github or are there other required jQuery Mobile files?
I know in the Release Notes for RC1 they had decoupled jQM and were working on a Download Builder
http://jquerymobile.com/blog/2011/09/29/jquery-mobile-1-0rc1-released/
Download builder: In the works
Now that we’ve decoupled most of the UI widgets, we’ve set the stage
for there to be a download builder. This will let you build a custom
version of jQuery Mobile to only include the parts you need. For
example, you could just use the core files to add Ajax-based
navigation with pushState and leverage some of the touch events and
other utilities with a very lightweight build (roughly 10k). Or, you
could add in specific UI widgets like form elements, listviews, etc.
to create an optimized build. We’re aiming to have a download builder
tool launch as part of 1.0 final in some form. We’re working on a
dependency map now for all the plugins to support this tool.
Not sure if this is release as of yet
As far as I know there is no widget for a date/time picker packaged with jQuery Mobile at the moment.
There are however several options out there (and I'm sure you can find more with some Google-time):
http://mobiscroll.com/ - I use this one on mobile websites
http://dev.jtsage.com/jQM-DateBox/ - Updated to work well with jQuery Mobile 1.0RC3, but note that it requires jQuery Mobile (see J.T.Sage's comment below).
