I am about to submit an App to the App Store and I am wondering if the "By WhatsApp Inc." (in the top left, under the app name) is coming from the Company name. (see attached screenshot)
How can I update that information in the iTunes Connect? I am not able to find updated details and this page is the only one which is talking about that (and the screenshots are not up to date)
Decide On Your Company's name
Thank you

I submitted my app for review for external testing and the binary got rejected due to missing username and password for a test account in Test Information tab of testFlight.
Here is the response in Resolution Center in App Store connect. I have added the username and password in test information tab and replied in Resolution Center as suggested.
Do I need to submit the app for review again?. As the status of binary shows rejected.
From Apple
2. 1 Performance: App Completeness
Guideline 2.1 - Information Needed
We have started your beta app's review, but we were unable to successfully access all or part of your app.
In order for us to continue the review, we need to have a way to verify all app features and functionality. Typically this is done by providing a demo account that has access to all features and functionality in your beta app. It is also acceptable to include a demonstration mode that exhibits your app’s full features and functionality. Note that providing a demo video showing your beta app in use is not enough for us to continue the review.
Next Steps
To help us proceed with the review of your app, please provide a user name and password in the Beta App Review Information section of App Store Connect. Please be sure that the demo account includes content that demonstrates the features and functionality available in your app.
To provide demo account information:
Log in to App Store Connect
Click on "My Apps"
Select your app
Navigate to the "TestFlight" tab
Select “Test Information”
Scroll down to “Beta App Review Information”
Select the "Sign-in required" box
Enter demo credentials in the "User Name" and "Password" fields
Click “Save”
Reply to this message in Resolution Center
After entering the Test Information, all you have to do is reply to the message in Resolution Center. They will get back to you and update the status accordingly.
However, if you would like to expedite the app review, sometimes it's faster to just submit a new build.
I was searching for a while and not found nothing...
I have an app published in iTunesConnect, but instead of the app description (previously setted in AppstoreConnect),
like in the image below:
Subtitle demonstration
... The owner account name (individual account developer name) is being presented.
Like this:
App Store demonstration
How i can change this to the appstoreconnect description text?
You are mixing things up. By default the App Store displays two values:
a) App title/name at the top
b) App subtitle at the bottom
If there is no active app subtitle, the App Store falls back to the developer name. (Sometimes if the App Store is "slow", you will see the developer name for a couple of seconds, before it is replaced by the subtitle)
You can check the behaviour in this short video/gif I just made: https://imgur.com/a/ZR3f42v
The developer name is something you cannot change yourself in App Store Connect. It is the initial name you signed up with over at https://developer.apple.com/enroll
If you signed up as an individual developer, it will show your personal name.
If you signed up as a company, it will show the full company name.
You can change this, but need to contact Apple Developer Support for that: https://developer.apple.com/support/app-store-connect/ They can also help you with upgrading your account from personal to company.
For ios 11 to onward enter subtitle it will display below app name.
Go to iTunes -> select app -> select app store -> app information -> enter subtitle
This is my first time adding an in-app purchase into my brand new iOS app that has not been published yet. I'm trying (and failing) to add a new "product" (i.e. in-app purchase) into iTunes Connect. I've read every thread I can find on stack-overflow and used my favorite search engine quite extensively. Haven't found any posts that are similar.
Here's what I've tried:
Go into iTunes Connect and select the app I'm working on
Go to the "Features" tab on the top of the User interface
Select the "In-App Purchases" on the left side of the User interface
Click on the (+) button next to the text that says "In-App Purchases" in the content area of the page
Result: I get a nice popup that says "Select the In-App Purchase you want to create", with an empty list. Only the Cancel button is enabled because there is nothing in the list to select (see screenshot below). I expected to see a list of in-app purchase types like "subscription", "consumable", etc.
Other background that may or may not be relevant, but seems to come up a lot in the threads I have read:
My app has never been submitted, its status is "Prepare for Submission"
I do not have a wildcard in my appID
My AppID shows the In-App Purchase "Application Service" as Enabled for Development and Distribution
My user Role is Admin
Thanks for any help!
You need to go to 'Agreements, Tax and Banking' inside iTunes Connect and request and agree to the Paid Applications agreement. Then you should fill in the contact, bank and tax info.
Once this is done, the In-App Purchase types should be listed as they are supposed to.
Important requirement is an iTunes Connect user with an Admin or App Manager role, sign in to iTunes Connect to add in-app purchase. Once logged in and clicked in screen. You will get below screen. Does your ID has correct credentials?
Clear your browser cache ( try using different browser ). Logout/login again?
1) In my iTunes connect account there is a Support URL (required) and a Marketing URL (optional). If you look at any app's App store page there it says Developer Website. So is the developer website the same as iTunes connect Support URL or Marketing URL?
2) Also, I want to do manual release to get promo codes for review sites and others. So if I were to set app for review in iTunes Connect, how far do I set the "Availability date" in the "Pricing tab" in the future? How long is a review if approved?
3) Also, lets say it's approved and I set the future date to September 1st for example for manual release. Would Apple instantly upload my App into the App store September 1st or would I have to confirm something first or is there more to it?
1) Developer Web site will be same as support URL.
2) As per my knowledge, if you use promo code then you may not post review for it.
3) Apple will instantly publish your app on availability date.
I have uploaded my one app in Apple Store, its live. Now i need to send metadata for the new version of the same app. But before uploading new binary for second version, i need to change large app icon (1024x1024). Currently my new version app status is "Prepare for Upload" and first version app status is "Ready for sale" on iTunes connect. Now after clicking on edit option in Version Information section. I have changed the app large logo successfully..but when i am clicking on save button then its not saving properly, and i am getting below error :
Select a frequency/intensity level for each Apple content description.
I have checked this link also : How do you change the app store's large icon on iTunes connect?
I think this error related to Ratings, i have given all the ratings of Apple content description as None (Total 4+ Ratings). Please help me to solve this error. I have attached screenshot for reference.. Thanks
If you couldn't find edit button for age rating like me in the app information page, It is in the preparing for submission page.
The alert indicates you have not filled all the Rating - Apple Content Descriptions which is below in your screenshot.
Let's go quick to the answer you need and then to the explanation. When you update your app, you have to check some checkboxes that are not by default:
As you can see in the image, my app has three rating fields that are empty: Medical / Treatment information, Unrestricted Web Access and Gambling and Contests.
You should check those for your app.
Now for the longer explanation:
In the case that you have filled all data, then I recommend to switch to another Internet browser, since it could also be a problem with processing the data you are submitting.
By the way, Apple changed the section. You may have received an e-mail:
There have been several recent changes that may impact the content rating of your apps. These changes give users more information about your apps and help ensure legal compliance.
New App Content Descriptions
You can now use the following descriptions: Medical/Treatment Information, Gambling and Contests, and Unrestricted Web Access (for apps that permit navigating and viewing web pages, for example with an embedded browser).
Update to Territory-Specific Restrictions Based on Rating
Territory-specific restrictions in the Korea, Brazil, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia App Stores have changed. You can see the current rating and territory restrictions for your apps in Manage Your Apps on iTunes Connect.
New Rating System for the Brazil App Store
In case you had difficulty finding the ratings section in the new iTunes Connect:
In the new iTunes Connect (2014) under the versions tab, scroll down to General App Information where you will see a small section titled Rating with a blue button titled edit. Tapping this button will bring up the Ratings section where you must make sure all fields are check-boxed. See attached screenshot
As described in the alert (Red text), make sure you have selected either of the options for all Content Descriptions.
Go to General -> App Information -> General App Information -> Age Rating -> Edit
