When Jenkins is managed by Tomcat8 (with a JDK7 or JDK8) and Http11Nio2Protocol, there seems to be a size limit which triggers that exception for a connector using SSL.
But simply changing the connector to Http11NioProtocol makes that limitation disappear.
This works:
<Connector port="9443" protocol="org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol"
maxThreads="150" SSLEnabled="true" scheme="https" secure="true"
keystoreFile="D:/CI/jdk-7u65-windows-x64/jre/lib/security/cacerts"
keystorePass="xxx" keystoreType="JKS"
clientAuth="false" URIEncoding="UTF-8" keyAlias="yyy" />
That is Http11NioProtocol, not Http11Nio2Protocol.

I'm having trouble deploying application after upgrading to grails 5 from 3 made all the necessary config changes. I dont see any issue while running application locally but i see the error as above while deploying not sure what am missing.
Please help me in this
I have two different JNDI datasources in my Grails 3 app. The app starts and runs correctly when not using JNDI (either dev or prod). But when building and running a war in Tomcat with JNDI datasources I get the exception shown below. It seems to originate as a conflict with jmx, but I have tried disabling jmx wherever I see it, in application.yml and in the datasources themselves. Still, the problem persists. Grails 3.2.13, Tomcat 9.
NOTE: Using an Oracle db as the primary database eliminates the problem. It seems to me that the error with Postgres is caused by the default datasource factory in use. That said, I don't know how to correct it; I thought disabling jmx would do it.
application.groovy:

The answer seems to be to set spring's property.
spring.jmx.enabled: false

Is there any way to recover from this aside from restoring a backup? I don't presently have shell access to the system, so please keep that in mind for your answers.
Jenkins version: 2.46.2
Splunk plugin version: 1.3.1
I was able to get SSH access to the system and did the following to solve my problem. Solution taken from the Removing and Disabling Plugins wiki page.
touch /var/lib/jenkins/plugins/splunk-devops.jpi.disabled
touch /var/lib/jenkins/plugins/splunk-devops-extend.jpi.disabled
Then, I rebooted. From the documentation, I assume that this is possible with any plugin.
I just installed Jira on an EC2 instance using puppet. While I was able to get everything installed and running, I'm seeing performance issues when logging into the application. Once I'm in, everything seems to work fine, but it takes forever to login.
Below are my specs.
Puppet Module: puppet-jira
OS: CentOS 7
Java Version: Oracle JDK 1.8.0_60
Jira version: 7.1.9
I've pulled the following stack trace out of catalina.out. Seems to be an issue with Jira gadgets, but not sure. How can I fix this error? Please note I masked my IP to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080:

I guess the gadgets (or some other code) try to pull some info through rest and they fail due to wrong base url. Set the base URL so it's resolved externally and locally. By locally I mean that you should be able to wget https://your-jira-domain.com from ssh session.
The url is set in the System Settings screen:
I'm using the private repository to store my own custom settings.xml. When i try to use it i get the following log message:
$ /usr/bin/tenant-isolate sudo /opt/jenkins/sbin/mount-webdav https://repository-laures.forge.cloudbees.com/private laures alert
mountpoint: /private/laures: No such file or directory
when my buildjob later wants to access my custom settings.xml i get an exception:
Executing Maven: -B -f /scratch/jenkins/workspace/JacksonLegacyIntrospector/pom.xml -gs /private/laures/settings.xml clean verify site emma:emma

I was following the cloudbees guide: https://developer.cloudbees.com/bin/view/DEV/Sharing+Files+with+Build+Executors
Did i do something wrong?
This job is validating pull-requests. A malicious user could hack your build script in a pull request and extract confidential informations from your account.
To prevent this, CloudBees run such a build using tenant-isolate script. This prevent /private to get mounted, this is intentional - but not nicely reported on the web UI.
