I just installed Jira on an EC2 instance using puppet. While I was able to get everything installed and running, I'm seeing performance issues when logging into the application. Once I'm in, everything seems to work fine, but it takes forever to login.
Below are my specs.
Puppet Module: puppet-jira
OS: CentOS 7
Java Version: Oracle JDK 1.8.0_60
Jira version: 7.1.9
I've pulled the following stack trace out of catalina.out. Seems to be an issue with Jira gadgets, but not sure. How can I fix this error? Please note I masked my IP to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080:

I guess the gadgets (or some other code) try to pull some info through rest and they fail due to wrong base url. Set the base URL so it's resolved externally and locally. By locally I mean that you should be able to wget https://your-jira-domain.com from ssh session.
The url is set in the System Settings screen:

Try this:

put ip of slave here
Setup ssh between master and slave. And if you are using any user credential as shown in image then update ssh key inside user credential.
I configured sonarqube 5.6 using LDAP 2.0 plugin. The issue is user is unable to connect sonarqube using LDAP credentials. But unfortunately, sometimes it get connected after throwing up this error in log

This is my LDAP configuration

I installed jenkins on my raspberry pi and when I opened the jenkins page, the introduction page comes up. The weird thing was that it said that my jenkins is offline and I should configure a proxy. That's weird because my raspberry pi has an internet connection and everything works fine. But then I tried to download github plugin for jenkins and no plugin was installed successfully. This is the exception:

But when I try to go to that site (http://updates.jenkins-ci.org/download/plugins/github/1.25.1/github.hpi) manually, everything downloads just fine. Any ideas why my jenkins cannot access internet and seems to be offline?

I don't understand the issue. Could someone help me? The master and slave are correctly set up as far as i can see. Thanks in advance!
This is a two-year old question, but for what it's worth, I had the same thing happen to me. I fixed it by removing the slave and then adding it back in. It was previously add and the log file showed it, so not sure what was wrong. At any rate, if this happens to anyone, give that a try.
I kill the java process and tried again with success.
Turned out to be an SSH permission denied issue for me. I discovered that by disconnecting and relaunching the node.

When Jenkins is managed by Tomcat8 (with a JDK7 or JDK8) and Http11Nio2Protocol, there seems to be a size limit which triggers that exception for a connector using SSL.
But simply changing the connector to Http11NioProtocol makes that limitation disappear.
This works:
<Connector port="9443" protocol="org.apache.coyote.http11.Http11NioProtocol"
maxThreads="150" SSLEnabled="true" scheme="https" secure="true"
keystoreFile="D:/CI/jdk-7u65-windows-x64/jre/lib/security/cacerts"
keystorePass="xxx" keystoreType="JKS"
clientAuth="false" URIEncoding="UTF-8" keyAlias="yyy" />
That is Http11NioProtocol, not Http11Nio2Protocol.
