I am getting the following error just after I press one of the document interaction controller buttons i.e. mail etc:
LaunchServices: invalidationHandler called
My email is not configured with iPhone Device.I want to show the alert for that.
Here is the code that creates the interaction controller - the URL etc is all valid however the delegate calls don't hit my controller even though I have implemented the delegate methods.
- (void)openAppList:(FileInfo *)fileinfo {
NSURL *fileURL = [NSURL fileURLWithPath:fileinfo.fullName];
UIDocumentInteractionController *interactionController = [UIDocumentInteractionController interactionControllerWithURL:fileURL];
[interactionController retain];
interactionController.delegate = self;
BOOL present = [interactionController presentOptionsMenuFromRect:CGRectZero inView:self.tabBarController.view
animated:YES];
if (!present) {
[MainteOrErrorDialog initWithErrorCode:kAlertNotOpenInFileId filename:fileInfo.filename target:nil action:nil];
} else {
[interactionController retain];
}
}
UIDocumentInteractionDelegate Method
- (void)documentInteractionController:(UIDocumentInteractionController *)controller
willBeginSendingToApplication:(NSString *)application
{
NSLog(#"Will Begin: %#", application);
}
- (void)documentInteractionController:(UIDocumentInteractionController *)controller
didEndSendingToApplication:(NSString *)application
{
NSLog(#"Did End: %#", application);
}

In previous iOS, I used this code and UIDocumentInteractionController to open a file, from my app, with another app. Since iOS 9, the UIDocumentInteractionController appears on the screen, I select the option "Copy to", but nothing happens. How can I solve this?
NSURL *URL = [NSURL fileURLWithPath:path];
if (URL != nil) {
// Initialize Document Interaction Controller
documentController = [UIDocumentInteractionController interactionControllerWithURL:URL];
documentController.delegate = self;
[documentController presentOpenInMenuFromRect:CGRectZero inView:self.view animated:YES];
}
you have to manage your response time of open :-
-(void)exportToDropBox{
[self performSelector:#selector(presentImagePicker) withObject:nil afterDelay:1.0];
}
-(void)presentImagePicker{
NSURL *targetURL = [NSURL fileURLWithPath:exportedPdfFileName];
[self presentDocumentWithURL2:targetURL];
}
- (UIViewController *)documentInteractionControllerViewControllerForPreview:(UIDocumentInteractionController *)controller{
return self;
}
- (void)presentDocumentWithURL2:(NSURL*)url {
self.documentController = [UIDocumentInteractionController interactionControllerWithURL:url];
self.documentController.delegate = self;
[self.documentController presentOpenInMenuFromRect:CGRectMake(self.view.frame.size.width/2 - 49/2, self.view.frame.size.height-49, 49, 49) inView:self.view animated:YES];
}
- (void)documentInteractionControllerDidEndPreview:(UIDocumentInteractionController *)controller {
self.documentController = nil;
}
I use the latest Facebook SDK for iOS platform.I use FBSDKShareDialog to share image to Facebook,the code can share image to Facebook.But I want to get the share result delegate.
- (void)sharedImage:(UIImage *) sharedImage
fromViewController:(UIViewController *) fromViewController {
FBSDKSharePhoto *photo = [[FBSDKSharePhoto alloc] init];
photo.image = sharedImage;
photo.userGenerated = YES;
FBSDKSharePhotoContent *content = [[FBSDKSharePhotoContent alloc] init];
content.photos = #[photo];
FBSDKShareDialog *dialog = [[FBSDKShareDialog alloc] init];
dialog.fromViewController = fromViewController;
dialog.shareContent = content;
dialog.delegate = self;
dialog.mode = FBSDKShareDialogModeShareSheet;
[dialog show];
}
#pragma mark - FBSDKSharingDelegate
- (void)sharer:(id<FBSDKSharing>)sharer didCompleteWithResults:(NSDictionary *)results {
}
- (void)sharer:(id<FBSDKSharing>)sharer didFailWithError:(NSError *)error {
}
- (void)sharerDidCancel:(id<FBSDKSharing>)sharer {
}
Also I add suggest code in AppDelegate.m
- (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:(NSDictionary *)launchOptions {
[[FBSDKApplicationDelegate sharedInstance] application:application
didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:launchOptions];
return YES;
}
- (void)applicationDidBecomeActive:(UIApplication *)application {
[FBSDKAppEvents activateApp];
}
- (BOOL)application:(UIApplication *)application
openURL:(NSURL *)url
sourceApplication:(NSString *)sourceApplication
annotation:(id)annotation {
[[FBSDKApplicationDelegate sharedInstance] application:application
openURL:url
sourceApplication:sourceApplication
annotation:annotation];
}
But the FBSDKSharingDelegate method has been never called.
You are setting fromViewController properly but that controller should be the delegate not the object.Below is code that is working and delegate is getting called
- (IBAction)facebookButtonClick:(UIButton *)sender {
// FacebookShare *facebookShare = [[FacebookShare alloc] init];
// [facebookShare sharedImage:[UIImage imageNamed:#"facebook_share"]
// fromViewController:self];
FBSDKSharePhoto *photo = [[FBSDKSharePhoto alloc] init];
photo.image = [UIImage imageNamed:#"facebook_share"];
photo.userGenerated = YES;
FBSDKSharePhotoContent *content = [[FBSDKSharePhotoContent alloc] init];
content.photos = #[photo];
FBSDKShareDialog *dialog = [[FBSDKShareDialog alloc] init];
dialog.fromViewController = self;
dialog.delegate = self;
dialog.shareContent = content;
dialog.mode = FBSDKShareDialogModeShareSheet;
[dialog show];
}
//FBSDKSharingDelegate
- (void)sharer:(id<FBSDKSharing>)sharer didCompleteWithResults:(NSDictionary *)results {
NSLog(#"completed");
}
- (void)sharer:(id<FBSDKSharing>)sharer didFailWithError:(NSError *)error {
NSLog(#"fail %#",error.description);
}
- (void)sharerDidCancel:(id<FBSDKSharing>)sharer {
NSLog(#"cancel");
}
In my case ,that 's because my view controller has dismiss , so that's impossible to call my delegate function. So please check weather your view controller was dismissed . Hope would help .
I want to show the Alert message When no mail is configured on the device.But when i click Mail from document interaction it just simply dismiss the controller none of the two following Delegate method will call.Please refer Image for better understanding.
Please help. Thanks in Advance

Unfortunately, you can't really interact with the Mail delegates through UIDocumentInteractionController. UIDocumentInteractionController is extremely limited to what you can do with properties and attributes of all apps it supports, you can't even set a mails message body to a custom message. In fact, documentInteractionController:canPerformAction: is deprecated in iOS 6.0 because Apple was moving towards UIActivityViewController. They're own deprecated statement is :
Apps should use UIActivityViewController for actions
So alternatively, with UIActivityViewController you can.
A work around for this, implement UIActivityViewController, they both support the same apps and check if a user can send emails, if not, exclude Mail from the menu :
if ([MFMailComposeViewController canSendMail]) {
NSArray *shareItems;
shareItems = #[[Config emailMessage], snapshot]; //emailMessage is an NSString containing the body of the mail or mms message located in a different VC
UIActivityViewController *activityController = [[UIActivityViewController alloc] initWithActivityItems:shareItems applicationActivities:nil];
[activityController setCompletionWithItemsHandler:(UIActivityViewControllerCompletionWithItemsHandler)^(NSString *string, BOOL completed) {
}
[self presentViewController:activityController animated:YES completion:nil];
} else {
NSArray *shareItems;
shareItems = #[[Config emailMessage], snapshot]; //emailMessage is an NSString containing the body of the mail or mms message located in a different VC
UIActivityViewController *activityController = [[UIActivityViewController alloc] initWithActivityItems:shareItems applicationActivities:nil];
activityController.excludedActivityTypes = #[UIActivityTypeMail];
[activityController setCompletionWithItemsHandler:(UIActivityViewControllerCompletionWithItemsHandler)^(NSString *string, BOOL completed) {
}
[self presentViewController:activityController animated:YES completion:nil];
}
I have an iPhone app connects to a server using OAuth. On success, it fetches the a user from the server. Again, upon success, it adds an item to the array of objects that populates the table view. Here is the code that does this:
- (void)setEditing:(BOOL)editing animated:(BOOL)animated
{
if (editing) {
[super setEditing:YES animated:YES];
self.backButton = self.navigationItem.leftBarButtonItem;
UIBarButtonItem *leftButton = [[UIBarButtonItem alloc] initWithBarButtonSystemItem:UIBarButtonSystemItemAdd target:self action:#selector(signInWithCatapult)];
self.navigationItem.leftBarButtonItem = leftButton;
} else {
[super setEditing:NO animated:YES];
self.navigationItem.leftBarButtonItem = self.backButton;
}
}
- (void)signInWithCatapult
{
[self signOut];
GTMOAuth2Authentication *auth = [self catapultAuthenticaiton];
NSURL *authURL = [NSURL URLWithString:#"https://oauth.lvh.me:3000/oauth/authorize"];
GTMOAuth2ViewControllerTouch *viewController;
viewController = [[GTMOAuth2ViewControllerTouch alloc] initWithAuthentication:auth
authorizationURL:authURL
keychainItemName:kCatapultKeychainItemName
delegate:self
finishedSelector:#selector(viewController:finishedWithAuth:error:)];
[[self navigationController] pushViewController:viewController animated:YES];
}
- (GTMOAuth2Authentication *)catapultAuthenticaiton
{
NSURL *tokenURL = [NSURL URLWithString:kDoorkeeperTokenURL];
NSString *redirectURI = #"https://catapultcentral.com/iOSClientCallback";
GTMOAuth2Authentication *auth;
auth = [GTMOAuth2Authentication authenticationWithServiceProvider:#"Catapult Central"
tokenURL:tokenURL
redirectURI:redirectURI
clientID:kDoorkeeperClientID
clientSecret:kDoorkeeperClientSecret];
return auth;
}
- (void)signOut
{
}
- (void)viewController:(GTMOAuth2ViewControllerTouch *)viewController
finishedWithAuth:(GTMOAuth2Authentication *)auth
error:(NSError *)error
{
if (error != nil) {
#if DEBUG
NSLog(#"ERROR: %#", error);
#endif
} else {
NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:#"https://api.lvh.me:3000/api/users/me"];
NSURLRequest *request = [NSURLRequest requestWithURL:url];
GTMHTTPFetcher *fetcher = [GTMHTTPFetcher fetcherWithRequest:request];
[fetcher setAuthorizer:auth];
[fetcher beginFetchWithDelegate:self didFinishSelector:#selector(currentUserFetcher:finishedWithData:error:)];
}
}
- (void)currentUserFetcher:(GTMHTTPFetcher *)fetcher
finishedWithData:(NSData *)data
error:(NSError *)error
{
if (error != nil) {
#if DEBUG
NSLog(#"ERROR: %#", error);
#endif
} else {
NSLog(#"Before: %#", self.accounts);
[self.tableView beginUpdates];
[self.accounts addObject:#"Success!!!"];
[self.tableView endUpdates];
// [self.tableView reloadData];
NSLog(#"After %#", self.accounts);
}
}
It's in the currentUserFetcher:finishedWithData:error: method that I add the object to the self.accounts mutable array. Now if I use this code it doesn't work:
[self.tableView beginUpdates];
[self.accounts addObject:#"Success!!!"];
[self.tableView endUpdates];
It fails at the line [self.tableView endUpdates]; with the following error message:
2013-03-28 08:56:21.040 Catapult for iOS[55012:c07] *** Assertion failure in -[UITableView _endCellAnimationsWithContext:], /SourceCache/UIKit_Sim/UIKit-2380.17/UITableView.m:1054
And on the endUpdates line, XCode is complaining saying Thread 1: breakpoint 1.3. Now, if I use this code, it works normally:
[self.accounts addObject:#"Success!!!"];
[self.tableView reloadData];
Now I suspect that it is failing because I add an object to the self.accounts instance variable but I don't actually add the cell. So my question is: How do I add a cell to the tableView from the currentUserFetcher:finishedWithData:error: method?
If you just override this method:
- (UITableViewCell *)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView cellForRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath;
Calling [UITableView reloadData] should just work itself out. The UITableViewController will just ask the amount of data (cells) that are there (using "tableView:numberOfRowsInSection:") and is requesting the Cell for every indexPath using the first mentioned method.
I'm trying to login to Tumblr via OAuth and a Mac App I begin to code.
I donwloaded gtm-oauth source code, everything is fine.
I just began with this code inside a view controller :
- (GTMOAuthAuthentication *)myCustomAuth {
GTMOAuthAuthentication *auth;
auth = [[[GTMOAuthAuthentication alloc] initWithSignatureMethod:kGTMOAuthSignatureMethodHMAC_SHA1
consumerKey:kConsumerKey
privateKey:kConsumerSecret] autorelease];
auth.serviceProvider = #"Custom Auth Service";
return auth;
}
- (void)viewController:(GTMOAuthViewControllerTouch *)viewController
finishedWithAuth:(GTMOAuthAuthentication *)auth
error:(NSError *)error {
NSLog(#"finishedWithAuth");
if (error != nil) {
NSLog(#"failed");
} else {
NSLog(#"done");
}
}
- (void)signInToCustomService {
GTMOAuthAuthentication *auth = [self myCustomAuth];
if (auth == nil) {
NSLog(#"A valid consumer key and consumer secret are required for signing in to Tumblr");
}
else
{
NSLog(#"Ok auth");
}
NSURL *requestURL = [NSURL URLWithString:#"http://www.tumblr.com/oauth/request_token"];
NSURL *accessURL = [NSURL URLWithString:#"http://www.tumblr.com/oauth/access_token"];
NSURL *authorizeURL = [NSURL URLWithString:#"http://www.tumblr.com/oauth/authorize"];
NSString *scope = #"http://api.tumblr.com"; // HERE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE
GTMOAuthViewControllerTouch *viewController;
viewController = [[[GTMOAuthViewControllerTouch alloc] initWithScope:scope
language:nil
requestTokenURL:requestURL
authorizeTokenURL:authorizeURL
accessTokenURL:accessURL
authentication:auth
appServiceName:#"My App: Custom Service"
delegate:self
finishedSelector:#selector(viewController:finishedWithAuth:error:)] autorelease];
[self presentModalViewController:viewController animated:YES];
}
- (void)viewDidLoad
{
[super viewDidLoad];
[self signInToCustomService];
}
But nothing happens.
- (void)viewController:(GTMOAuthViewControllerTouch *)viewController
finishedWithAuth:(GTMOAuthAuthentication *)auth
error:(NSError *)error;
This method is never called.
Perhaps this is my scope variable. I don't know which value I have to write for it.
Thanks for your help !
