no segments* file found in Lucene.Net.Store.SimpleFSDirectory# - asp.net-mvc

I've downloaded some samples of Lucene.Net library and tried to run but it always throw this error
no segments* file found in Lucene.Net.Store.SimpleFSDirectory#
It throws an error while creating object at this line,
var searcher = new IndexSearcher(_directory, false)
Is anyone has idea on this?
Is there any configuration required to implement this lucene.Net library?

For me it was two issue, 1st this is index was not created so for the 1st time it was throwing this error, Following code resolved that issue.
if (!System.IO.Directory.EnumerateFiles(indexDirectory).Any())
{
return new List<Model>();
}
2nd thing,
Do not forget to dispose object of IndexSearcher,IndexReader and IndexWriter.
Disposing memory of these object in sequence, resolved my issue.

Properly Load Microsoft.ML model in Xamarin App?

I was learning a bit about how Machine Learning works and eventually built a small C# application because of a tutorial I was watching where a model determines what species of Bee a particular bee IS. It works well in the C# application, but I was also developing an app project that had picture taking capabilities in mind so I thought "No reason the model I saved in the first project can't work in the second, right?". Apparently there is a reason why it can't work because here is the necessary code to view in the app project:
MLContext m_mlObj;
DataViewSchema m_modelSchema;
ITransformer m_loadedTrainedModel;
var folderPath = DependencyService.Get<IFileSystem>().GetExternalStorage();
var fileDir = Path.Combine(folderPath, "trainedModel.zip");
bool testValue = File.Exists(fileDir);
if(testValue)
{
Console.WriteLine("File in fact exists.");
try
{
m_loadedTrainedModel = m_mlObj.Model.Load(fileDir, out m_modelSchema);
}
catch (Exception e)
{
Console.WriteLine("\n\n\nInner exception: " + e.InnerException);
}
}
else
{
Console.WriteLine("File does not exist");
}
I have a breakpoint on the "m_loadedTrainedModel = m_mlObj.Model.Load(fileDir, out m_modelSchema);" line of course and it always triggers an exception.
The exception states:
---> System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type of field 'Microsoft.ML.Transforms.DnnRetrainTransformer:_tfInputShapes' (9) due to: Could not resolve type with token 01000060 from typeref (expected class 'Tensorflow.TensorShape' in assembly 'TensorFlow.NET, Version=0.20.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cc7b13ffcd2ddd51') assembly:TensorFlow.NET, Version=0.20.1.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cc7b13ffcd2ddd5 1 type:Tensorflow.TensorShape member:(null)
What I THINK this means is it's checking for Tensorflow.TensorShape inside of the package TensorFlow.NET and isn't finding it. If that's the case, I believe I don't have the correct package installed so my Xamarin project will be able to load the model correctly, maybe? Or if not, then what may be the real underlying issue? The code seems straight forward so I'm a bit perplexed as to how this is failing.
If the solution is blatantly going over my head, my apologies and thank you to anyone who is willing to help.
When working with ML.NET on ARM, TensorFlow is one of the limitations at the time of this writing.

What you might want to consider in the meantime is deploying your model as a Web API and making requests to that API from your mobile app.

CSOM 2013 error: Unable to cast object of type 'System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary

I'm using this code to loop columns of a SharePoint 2013 List.
currentContext.Load(currentList.Fields);
currentContext.ExecuteQuery();
foreach (Field f in currentList.Fields) {
}
No problem with normal columns. But, when I arrive to a lookup column I have this error:
"Unable to cast object of type
'System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2[System.String,System.Object]'
to type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Field'."
I found for example this discussion
This issue came when we were working with TaxonomyFieldValue fields. For us changing references was not an option. This helped:
TaxonomyItem dummy = new TaxonomyItem(web.Context, null);
It will force program to load adequate libraries forcing correct type in runtime.
I had this same issue and updating the references fixed it for me. This question helped me figure it out.
I went from version 14 of "Microsoft.SharePoint.Client" and "Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Runtime" to version 16 and no longer had the error.

HHVM non-deterministic behaviour of the typechecker

I've noticed that calling hh_client is not always returning correct result. For example: I have following pieces of code:
backend\ConvertMessage.hh:
<?hh // strict
namespace ApiBackend\ConvertMessage {
enum Status: int {
success = 0;
// ... error codes
};
// ... some other classes
};
other place in project:
throw new \SoapFault(
'Server',
\ApiBackend\ConvertMessage\Status::getNames()[$result->status]
);
Sometimes, after doing some changes in project I get following error message: Could not find static method getNames in type ApiBackend\ConvertMessage\Status (Typing[4090])
When I remove a semicolon after one of closing curly brackets, hh_client stops displaying error. But when I insert semicolon back on its place, typechecker still gives me No errors! message.
This is not the only file that causes this problem - it happens to all enums.
It seems to me that it is problem with some cache of either hh_client or hh_server.
Thanks in advance for helping me with solving this problem (and sorry if my english is not too good).
You are probably using an outdated version of HHVM. This problem sounds an awful lot like this race condition, which was fixed in HHVM 3.5.0 and newer (and was backported into the 3.3.3 LTS release). Notably, 3.4.x still had the bug.
What version of HHVM are you using?

Action not defined in controller cakephp

I am having this issue while using findbyid to get a unique url for a page on my shared hosting. The problem I have is that I keep getting the following error while trying to access the unique page via the Id number of the item on shared hosting(i dont get this issue on localhost):
Error: The action item is not defined in controller ProductsController
Error: Create ProductsController::item() in file: app/Controller/ProductsController.php.
However item is defined in the productscontroller:
public function item($id = null) {
if (!$id) {
throw new NotFoundException(__('product not found'));
}
$items = $this->Product->findById($id);
if (!$items) {
throw new NotFoundException(__('Invalid post'));
}
$this->set('item', $items);
}
you can see the problem at this url: http://entourmag.com/hava/products/item/39
it works on localhost via wamp so I am not sure what the problem is.
Thanks in advance
Well I figured out the issue. The problem was with the files uploaded; the files uploaded were incomplete or missing, when I check the ProductsController.php file I realised that most of the code was missing. Reuploading solved the problem.
For others with problematic internet connection take note of this while coding.
Error: A Database connection using "Mysql" was missing or unable to connect.
The database server returned this error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'root'#'localhost' (using password: NO)
Notice: If you want to customize this error message, create app/View/Errors/missing_connection.ctp
I think you have not created/configured your database.php in app/Config
I am using cakephp 3.8 and I figure out one possible cause of this kind of messages.
In my case, I am expecting the __construct method is responsible for creating the base class.
And the solution is to use initialize method, like so:
function initialize() {
parent::initialize();
}
In conclusion, we should more carefully read the documentation, it clearly stated here and please take time to do the 20 min cms tutorial

Error with spring security plugin in grails 2.4.0.M1

i'm running into a compilation issue, using grails 2.4.0.M1 and spring-security-core:2.0-RC2
this is the error:
..../target/work/plugins/spring-security-core-2.0-RC2/src/groovy/grails/plugin/springsecurity/ReflectionUtils.groovy:
205: Apparent variable 'org' was found in a static scope but doesn't
refer to a local variable, static field or class. Possible causes:
You attempted to reference a variable in the binding or an instance
variable from a static context. You misspelled a classname or
statically imported field. Please check the spelling. You attempted
to use a method 'org' but left out brackets in a place not allowed by
the grammar. # line 205, column 18.
application = org.codehaus.groovy.grails.commons.ApplicationHolder.application
^
the problem seems to be around this method
private static GrailsApplication getApplication() {
if (!application) {
application = org.codehaus.groovy.grails.commons.ApplicationHolder.application
}
application
}
on the class ReflectionUtils.groovy,
does anyone else as ran into something like this? if so how do you fixed it?
I fixed this today - https://github.com/grails-plugins/grails-spring-security-core/commit/ef3aab05bfb0eb2f2cbb2c5945f4fc9ca2f0697d
You can make the change that #Bubuntux showed as a temporary workaround, and I'll be releasing 2.0 final in a couple of weeks with this fixed. Hopefully you're not planning on using a Grails M1 release in production, so the delay shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Seems like the ApplicationHolder class was deprecated a long time ago, and now removed on grals 2.4
so i just change the line
application = org.codehaus.groovy.grails.commons.ApplicationHolder.application
to
application = Holders.grailsApplication
