I wan to do a drop-down menu looks like android gmail. You can see the picture as this pic (http://i.imgur.com/PtyQI35.png), the green area is not full width size of screen. All I can find sample was slide menu, even gmail version on iphone was not the same with android. How to do that in iOS?
thanks!
Now that you mention it thats a pretty cool menu, I did it here in a sample protect:

Of course there's no delegates or anything in it. If you or users here believe its a nice menu I might go and make it better.

I am having a problem with making my mobile app home screen look like the image below, I have tried using grids but everything aligns to the left.
Has anyone successfully used grids in jquery mobile as home screen with icons?
I created a quick example that should help you on how to create such a home screen. The reason everything aligns to the left in your trys might be because you added style="text-align: left" to your grids? Cant really tell without any code from your side. Here is the
Example
I've tested this on every other browser, it's only on iphone on safari where this is happening. I've built a site on wordpress and whenever a comment field is clicked on a comment, the screen goes white briefly. Cna someone point me in the right direction on how to diagnose this? Thanks!

Found the answer: By applying position: relative on all the form objects, this fixes the issue iOS was having with the form fields.
Try pressing F12 on Google Chrome for developer tools and emulate the device (by clicking the phone icon and selecting the device required) that is causing the problems (e.g. Apple iPhone6), run the console while leaving a comment and it should display whatever Javascript is running in the background and debug from there.
I am creating an iphone application, where i am getting confuse. I need to show a control (displaying Online option) as i have mention in below screenshot. I have seen such type of controls in Android.
When user will press, it should display Offline and Online two options in one small pop up view. Selected option text will come on to the control field. How to implement or give me suggestion to show such type of field in iphone.
Thanks in Advance.
Check the answer here: Any pull down or drop down menu for iOS?
Personally I would make a text box with an image view to make it look like a drop down box. then on tap load a UIActionSheet for the user to select from.
I am trying to recreate a popular effect that all iPhone users have seen before on their settings page. Something like when selecting a wireless network. There is normally a title that says "Available Networks" with a blue arrow icon to the right. onClick there is an accordion style slide down effect to reveal the available networks.
I am trying to recreate this to use as a drop down input for my app's settings page since iPhone does not have anything like that in their storyboard builder interface. The other issue is the options will be dynamic (coming from a database).
Has anyone seen a tutorial on this or maybe an open source app I can use as reference.
I am using iOS 6.1 using Storyboards.
EDIT
I should have spent a little more time researching I am sure I would have have this post that was very helpful regardind the actual code for the drop-down not so much the dynamic data. How to create DropDown in xcode?
How to activate/use this feature in D2010 ?!?
I have checked Zoom to full screen in Tools > Option > Editor Option > Display clicked Ok button but nothing happened. Ok, i said to myself, let's see what the help has to say about this. I pressed F1 key, wait a little, help's coming up but as i have expected, it has no idea about this, ironically: the help didn't help. Google did find some old blog posts which provided some outdated information like double click on the editor tab or pressing F5 will do the thick. But, that's not the case, so i'm asking here maybe somebody has more information about this.
That option controls whether the code editor, when zoomed, will zoom to occupy the entire screen. If that option isn't set, then maximizing the edit window will leave space at the top of the screen for the main IDE application window. If you never maximize the editor window, then that setting has no effect. It might also only have an effect when you're using the "classic undocked" layout mode.
