I am trying to create a new app on iTunes Connect. I have filled in the form however it says "Your app information could not be saved. Information for atleast one field is invalid or is in the wrong format"
However it doesn't tell me what is wrong, so no clue about how I should go about this. (I also tried different browsers hoping one would work).
Here is a screenshot of the form:
I dont think there is any restriction on version number, but have you tried changing your SKU ? I always keep my bundle ID and SKU same (as it's already unique).
I couldn't add comment hence writing it as an answer.

App Store Connect now requires the bank account holder’s address.
However when I try to add my address to my bank account on AppStore Connect I get an error saying:
This address has been modified. Verify the changes and resubmit
I tried clicking save multiple times and changing the address but nothing works.
Does anyone else have this issue? Anyone knows how this can be fixed?
Thank you
How many times did you click save button? I had the same issue and I saw this: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/112590
I had to click it like 4 times or something. Make sure you don't close the window or leave the page. It's definitely a bug.
I've submitted a new app to itunesconnect - which got rejected because of a metadata issue. I fixed the metadata issue and replied to them in the resolution centre. However, I was not sure whether I need to press "Submit for Review" again on the app page (since they do not really specify). So, I went to go press it just for in case. It does not want to trigger and gives an error "This field is required" - with NO indication of what it actually wants?
Please, does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this. I have already set the age rating, privacy policy etc. It has screenshots and a binary file. As far as I can see, it should be good to go. At this stage, it looks like they are just trying to make life difficult.
OK, so after scrambling around and changing random fields, I inserted a value for "Copy Right" and that seemed to work. After I submitted though, it immediately cleared that field from the entry I had put in? So, not sure what that is all about. Hopefully this helps someone else too.
Hi I am trying to set up a adset for the Apple App Store (Google Play doesn't give this), but i am facing this error message;
Missing or invalid field in promoted objects: Application_id must be
valid for the APP_INSTALLS optimization goal. Set it in Promoted
objects.
I have through topics regarding this, but couldn't find a solution, can you please assist?
Thanks,
E.
Same Issue here: application_id needs to be Valid Facebook Ad
I had the exact same error and solved it by changing the app type to Consumer. Unfortunately you cannot just change the type for an existing app, so you have to create a new app and select the right type, see:
https://developers.facebook.com/docs/development/create-an-app/app-dashboard/app-types/
I guess that for me the error occured because I chose hte Gaming type which does not support App Events, see link above. The Consumer type worked for me.
Of course you get a new app ID, which you need to put again into the Facebook SDK inside your app, so it is kind of starting all over again.
After a whole day search, i'm unable to find a good solution
Apple does't allow to check IMEI number of iDevice
Apple does't allow to check UDID (Its deprecated)
there is an option of "identifierForVendor" , but i found it may change if user uninstall and reinstall the app.
My Problem at this time is this
for single "Specific USER NAME" any one can install my app on upto 5 iDevices, after that user must change the "USER NAME"
my app just ask this on first Launch and never again. at this stage i want a check or Counter Like anything that counts the iDevices for that "USER NAME" to check if it is 1st, second …. ……… or fifth. ….
need your ideas or help on this matter / issue
What i have got from your question is that you need a unique identifier to identify total devices . Please take a look at my answer here at this post i may help you understand many things ( How to generate unique identifier which should work in all iOS versions? )
you may try to use the token given by apple for APN (Apple Push Notification), it's unique for device+app… there may be the problem that app will ask user permission for push notification, but you can make that mandatory for your app, and let it works just in casa user accepts it..
I am trying to publish an iPhone app; it is not the first, I already published others in the past. So I entered the required info in the first and second form, and then filled in the big third form, the one where you also upload icon and screenshots. Well, I pressed the "Save" button before uploading the screenshots, because I noticed that I had no retina-4 screenshot available, and had to produced it first.
Why did I press "Save"? Well, I just wanted to make sure all the info I had entered wouldn't get lost.
Reasonably, I got an error message regarding the missing screenshots.
After a while I uploaded the screenshots, but when trying to save again, I got a generic error, something like "There has been an error, contact support". Maybe my session had expired in the meantime???
OK, so I press "Cancel". I return to the initial screen, where my apps are listed. No sign of the new one, so I guess I have to re-enter everything again.
The bad surprise is that when I fill in the first form I get an error message:
The Bundle ID you entered has already been used
I guess I will have to choose a different bundle ID... sounds crazy, just can't believe it... any suggestions?
Had faced the same problem at the time of my last app uploading. And as i was not having time to go through the Error, I simply changed the bundle id with new one. And it get done. I will suggest you to create new one and go with that.
The message is trying to tell that the bundle ID already exist in apple there. Because it must be unique, thus no body can create a new one.
Why you saw this is probably the account you using in your mac book or xcode no longer have access to this bundle. Try login to apple developer account to check whether you still able to see this app or not. And try to check with application admin to check is it your account being remove for this bundle access.
