I'm trying the communication between javascript and Ros.
I use the example code of
"github.com/RobotWebTools/roslibjs/blob/develop/examples/simple.html "
with these changes:
var cmdVel = new ROSLIB.Topic({
ros : ros,
name : '/fromRos2Can',
messageType : 'ackermann_msgs/AckermannDrive'
});
and
var twist = new ROSLIB.Message({
speed:1.0,
acceleration:2.0,
jerk:3.0,
steering_angle:4.0,
steering_angle_velocity:5.2
});
and I receive these two error message:
[ERROR] [WallTime: 1404116229.210210] [Client 2] [id: advertise:/fromRos2Can:1] advertise: Unable to load the manifest for package ackermann_msgs. Caused by: ackermann_msgs
[ERROR] [WallTime: 1404116229.213060] [Client 2] [id: publish:/fromRos2Can:2] publish: Cannot infer topic type for topic /fromRos2Can as it is not yet advertised
My c++ program works with AckermannDrive.msg and a test with a std_msg/String works too.
Where is my mistake?
Thanks
There's a very similar post in answers.ros.org. Since that web site is the official QA forum for ROS I'd suggest continuing over there.

Can someone please help to understand what will be the root cause of this issue and how to resolve it
I've been attempting to import some wikipedia templates in my local mediawiki wiki, but most attempts at using them end up with the same error. For instance, for the following code :
==Title==
{{Main|Title}}
(which uses the main template), I get the following error :
Lua error: Internal error: The interpreter has terminated with signal "-129".
No further details are available.
I haven't been able to find any occurence of that error, or even a relevant use of 129 in the source code I could find, and there is nothing generated in the Lua error log.
The Lua binaries have all been given permission to be executed, and I have installed the Scribunto and TemplateStyles extensions and a variety of modules, although beyond the ones advised for main, I don't know where to find a list of missing modules if there are any.
Edit : Here is the output of $status in Scribunto :
array(8) {
["command"]=> string(459) "'exec' '/bin/sh' '/XXX/extensions/Scribunto/includes/engines/LuaStandalone/lua_ulimit.sh' '7' '8' '51200' ''\''/XXX/extensions/Scribunto/includes/engines/LuaStandalone/binaries/lua5_1_5_linux_32_generic/lua'\'' '\''/XXX/extensions/Scribunto/includes/engines/LuaStandalone/mw_main.lua'\'' '\''/XXX/extensions/Scribunto/includes'\'' '\''0'\'' '\''4'\'''"
["pid"]=> int(17067)
["running"]=> bool(false)
["signaled"]=> bool(true)
["stopped"]=> bool(false)
["exitcode"]=> int(-1)
["termsig"]=> int(-129)
["stopsig"]=> int(0)
}
I am beginning to suspect that the issue may be that my server doesn't allow executables.

I was getting the same error with Flume-1.6 version. In flume.conf, update Twitter source type as below:
TwitterAgent.sources.Twitter.type = org.apache.flume.source.twitter.TwitterSource
I didn't use flume-sources-1.0.SNAPSHOT.jar

Worklight Studio 6, SQL adapter attempting connection to DB2 database.
Standard pattern for procedure
return WL.Server.invokeSQLStatement({
preparedStatement : listUnassignedWorkOrders,
parameters : []
});
When I invoke my procedure I see this error
[ERROR ] FWLSE0035E: Invocation of procedure 'SqlStatement' failed.
[project Infrabel01] Type 'Function' currently does not support
marshalling to JSON.
And the logs show
[err] 0 WorklightPU WARN [Scheduled Executor-thread-1]
openjpa.Runtime - An error occurred while registering a
ClassTransformer with PersistenceUnitInfo: name 'WorklightPU', root
URL
[file:/C:/djna-nobackup/Workspaces/WL6.0/01/WorklightServerConfig/shared/resources/worklight-jee-library-6.0.0.jar].
The error has been consumed. To see it, set your openjpa.Runtime log
level to TRACE. Load-time class transformation will not be available.
How to diagnose? How would I set the trace level in worklight?
JPA docs say:
property name="openjpa.Log" value="DefaultLevel=WARN, Runtime=INFO,
Tool=INFO, SQL=TRACE"
But where to put that in worklight?
The WorklightPU WARN in the log is not relevant and has been removed in newer releases of Worklight.
For your actual issue, see the following developerWorks threads with the same issue that was resolved.

Posting here is always my last resort, but I'm going crazy here. I'm a Mule ESB beginner. I've been trying to do some simple examples to get me on the right track.
But I've encountered a problem with one of the examples I've seen on the mule website...
http://www.mulesoft.org/documentation/display/current/WSDL+Connectors
I'm trying to set up a generic WSDL endpoint, which invokes a web service without generating a client.
The WSDL I'm trying to access...
http://www.webservicex.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?WSDL&method=ConversionRate
The problem is, I keep getting the following error
[ERROR] IOException during exec() of compiler "javac". Check your path environment variable.

And yes, I've hunted around the internet for hours looking for a solution.
Things I've done to try fix the problem.
Make sure the javac path is set in the environment variables.
(%JAVA_HOME%\bin)
Make sure that mule studio has the correct path to JRE
I know it's a simple problem, but I need to figure it out to tackle a larger project that I have in mind.
If anyone could shed some light on a solution this problem, then I'd be extremely grateful.
Thanks :)
Other info:
Using Java 1.7
Using MuleStudio 3.4
Ok, after trying and failing at many different solutions, I've figured it out.
I've seen a lot of people asking the same question as me, with very few solutions.
Here is mine...
The JRE was incorrect.
My java directory consisted of..
And Mule studio was using the folder jre7
So I changed it to use the JRE in the directory jdk1.7.0_17/jre
Ran it again and.. OMG it worked!!
Here is how to do it in mule studio/eclipse...Right Click on your Project --> Properties --> Java Build Path --> Libraries Tab --> Click JRE System Library --> Press Edit --> Click Alternate JRE --> Click Installed JREs.. --> Then Add the JRE from the correct directory like I stated above.
Hope this helps anyone with the same problem! :)
