Cannot upload iOS simulator build for Facebook App review - ios

I literally cannot upload iOS simulator build for Facebook App review.
I have an iOS universal (iPhone/iPad) video game that I need to submit to Facebook review in order to get approval for "publish_actions" permission.
I've successfully built the iOS simulator build, compressed it to a ZIP archive and then it simply doesn't get uploaded to the corresponding Facebook web site form.
What I've already tried:
I've tried to upload different versions of my app - one is 216MB
compressed, the other is 360MB. Could it be the size of the archive
that is too big?
I've tried to use different archive programs to make the ZIP
archive.
I've tried to upload it from different browsers (Safari, Chrome)
and platforms (Mac OS X, Windows 7).
No success at all.
I do the following steps:
Click the "provide a version" link
Click the "Use an Uploaded Simulator Build" button
Click the "Choose a File" button
Select the ZIP archive with the app
Then I see a spinning progress bar
And then - nothing happens.
UPDATE:
I've additionally tried the following things as advised:
Created a new empty application. Did a simulator build. And successfully uploaded it. Size of the archive was 23KB
Enabled network state logging in dev tools of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and indeed there's no sign of data transfer when uploading my application archive
UPDATE 2:
I've filed a bug to facebook
They know about this issue.

Most internet connections have much crappier upload speed than download speed. Uploading 200MB would really take a long while. How much did you wait?
Try making an empty new project and uploading a build of it to see if it goes up.
Try checking your network activity while you're waiting to see if you're really uploading anything.

File a bug # developers.facebook.com . Facebook support will help you figure out the issue much faster.

Firebase - iOS App Installation on iPhone X is not working

I uploaded an iOS enterprise build using App-Distribution feature of Firebase Console and shared with my testers.
We are able to download it on all devices except on iPhone X. The error shows "os version not supported". On click of this error, it displays details that "The developer needs to upload a build that supports iOS 10.15". Please check screenshots for reference.
Please note that iPhone X have iOS 13.3. I suspect not be an iOS version issue, because I downloaded app on my personal iPhone XR which has iOS 13.3.
Safari Browser Desktop mode was the culprit. If turned on, any distribution provider's script will think the link was opened it mac instead of iOS.
No need to reset the phone in my case!!!
Edit:
Actually Ram's answer works
Go into settings
Safari
Request Desktop Website
Turn off the switch
Old:
For me erasing all content and settings worked.
Steps:
open Settings
go to General
Reset (at the bottom)
Erase All Content and Settings
Remember to do some backup of your data because it will erase all the content.
I didn't check if Reset All Settings option works.
I hope it will help you!

React native Branch io deep linking in IOS not working

I have followed the set up doc of branch for react native io i.e. https://help.branch.io/developers-hub/docs/react-native
React native Branch io deep linking is working fine for Android part and For ios part if click the banner from my website it is taking me to appstore and not the app though app is installed in device.
When copy the link getting created when user clicking on the banner and pasting it in notepad and on long press I am getting "open in your app" option and its navigating to app.
Since the 'Open in your app' option is visible on long-pressing the link on Notes app, it means that the universal links are setup fine here.
As per your query in regards to the link being redirected to the AppStore even when the app is installed, occurs when the AASA files are not being fetched by the device. This is a common issue occurring in iOS (https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/123554) as in when the device fails to fetch the AASA files but this is an intermittent one and can be fixed manually. Your device will also try to fetch the AASA files at certain durations so that might also solve the issue at times.
As for the manual process, would request you to check on the Branch documentation here and follow the necessary steps : https://help.branch.io/developers-hub/docs/ios-troubleshooting#section-validate-if-aasa-file-successfully-downloaded
If the console shows as the AASA files are not getting fetched, please try uninstalling the app, restarting the device, and reinstalling the app. Recreate the method of testing for AASA once more.
PLEASE NOTE : These steps are advisable only if the SDK is integrated fine as per our docs.

Dynamic link does not open the app, and "open in app" option not available in context menu

I just encountered a very weird behaviour with Firebase dynamic links.
It works perfectly on all of our test devices except for one.
This specific device is an iPhone-x, and the account was restored via iTunes (Not sure if this info is relevant, but i'm trying to give a full picture).
Our app is installed on this device from the app store (also tried deleting and reinstalling), but when trying to open a dynamic link it opens Safari instead, there we have the "open" button that opens the app store page of this app.
When trying to long tap on the link as suggested by developers that experienced the same issue, we have only one button that says "Open" which opens Safari again. I would expect that when the app is installed we would have two options:
1. "Open in Safari"
2. "Open in [App]"
Has anyone experienced this issue before? Anyone has any idea how to solve this?
The overall diagnoses here is that Universal Linking is not configured properly on the device. If Universal Links works on all other devices, then it is probably the case that the AASA file is not being downloaded properly. iOS 11.2 has had issues with this recently.
Check device logs
I suggest that you check the device logs when installing the application to see if the AASA file is being downloaded properly.
1) Delete your app and plug in the device to your computer
2) Open up Xcode and navigate to Window > Devices & Simulators
3) Select the device in the left-hand menu
4) In the bottom of the window you should see a triangle in a box. Clicking this will bring up the device logs.
5) Use a cmd-f to search for applinks and if your app downloaded the AASA correctly. You should see something like
Added service 'applinks', appID 'RXXXXXXXP.io.branch.Branchsters', domain 'branchster.app.link'
If this is not the case, then it looks like you AASA file is not being downloaded and you may need to delete the app, restart your phone, and try again.

How to run iOS app in iPhone without USB connection to Mac

I have developed my first apple app and i wish to run it in iphone (its working well in XCode). By running in iphone i don't mean to connect it with mac and run with USB connection.
I mean something like there will be uuid of iphone and i upload my app some where and it can be run by Iphone user without any wire-connection to my MAC where i have app in xcode.
Is it possible to achieve by anyway? Is that way to achieve is free of cost ?
What I understand from you question is you want to distribute your application to others,
If you have apple developers account , you can use TestFlight ITunes Connect, where you can distribute upto 1000 users
Or you could use other free providers like,
Fabric
Hockey
I personally recommend Fabric , it's free, has lot of features
In your project set your distribution profiles in code signing options
Then click on product-->Build wait for a moment until it opens an Organizer window .
After opening organizer window select save for AdHoC deployment --> choose your organization--> select for all devices compatibility(if you are running with latest Xcode 7.3 version otherwise devices compatibility window won't appear) click next next.
Finally you can get an api file in the Organizer window. In that select the first api file which has recently you built -> click on export to your any finder location.
Then open your api file location in your Finder.
Then open your browser and open https://www.diawi.com and drag and drop your api in the specified field and wait until it reaches 100% to upload and click on send so that you can get a link. Now you can share your link.
Note: In iOS device he can install the api by using safari browser with the link we have shared

PhoneGap Build - BlackBerry link doesn't work

I'm new to mobile development and I've compiled my app through the online PhoneGap Build.
It returns me the links to download all the apps, but the BlackBerry
link doesn't work properly, even if phonegap doesn't return me
any sort of error.
The link is only a single jad file. There are no .jar or .cod files,
and if I try to install it on a blackberry, I can't.
What am I doing wrong?
I don't know much about BlackBerry apps, so maybe I miss something.
Thanks in advance
on your desktop computer, go to https://build.phonegap.com/apps, and click the name of your app (not the d/l links)
it will show a list of qr codes, one for each platform
on your blackberry, open App World, menu, scan a barcode, then scan the qr code and it will download it like a normal app
That same issue would occasionally happen to me as well. I resolved it each time by deleting the app in PhoneGap Build and then resubmitting it and then waiting for the build notification to be shown instead of continually hitting refresh in the browser. It's not scientific but it's what resolved the issue the last 2 times for myself.
