Im having a problem with youtube rss. a week ago, the rss feed of this "http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/M_vDwwo498dNg3FADnV-vQ/newsubscriptionvideos" worked really good. It displays my last suscribers videos. But since 2 days, it says "forbidden". I did not do anything into youtube since 2 weeks in my configuration, so i dont know why it says that. But if i replace, "newsubscriptionvideos" for "uploads" it show my uploads, so i think its a problem on youtube, or i dont know. Someone have an idea?
http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/M_vDwwo498dNg3FADnV-vQ/newsubscriptionvideos
gdata.youtube.com/feeds/base/users/M_vDwwo498dNg3FADnV-vQ/uploads
I don't know if this has anything to do with this, but this API is deprecated.
And it looks like new API has no replacement. Here is the issue http://code.google.com/p/gdata-issues/issues/detail?id=3946
It's working again !
Try it again

The sorting is not working as expected since a few hours.

Can be tried in the API explorer (Execute without OAuth) as well.
https://developers.google.com/apis-explorer/#p/youtube/v3/youtube.search.list?part=snippet&channelId=UC_x5XG1OV2P6uZZ5FSM9Ttw&order=date
date: Resources are sorted in reverse chronological order based on the date they were created.

What is going wrong?
In case you are looking to get the latest videos of a channel:
Get the channels upload playlist from Channels
Get the latest videos in the channels upload playlist from PlaylistItems
Alternatively, you can use the channels RSS feed:
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id={ChannelId}
https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?user={User}
This does not replace the full search sorted by date function however.
Thanks YouTube for making me work on a Sunday, all I wanted was to watch the latest videos from my favorite channels. At least I don't have to wait for a fix anymore, good luck to those less lucky!

YouTube is aware the search/sorting functions aren't working as expected – this is temporary and part of our efforts to better respond, review and remove graphic, violative content from YouTube. Thanks for your patience while we work through this. Will update this thread when these features are working normally again, feel free to subscribe for updates.
Bug reports for this include:
https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/128673031
https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/128673552
Both have an official comment from Google:
Thank you all for bringing this up here. These specific filters have been currently disabled on both YouTube.com and through the APIs. We should have updates on this soon. Thanks again.
Not sure how credible that is:
Just confirming that this is only temporary, and related to YouTube's efforts to better respond, review and remove graphic, violative content from YouTube. Thanks for your patience while we work through this.

I'm creating a website for users to post their videos on a particular topic. The videos will be processed with an intermediate server and then uploaded to each user's YouTube channel. However, I would like to know if the YouTube API, lets you know the number of likes you get each of these videos on YouTube.
Thank you for helping me

This is where to look. Please invest some effort of your own before asking on SO. Your question is easily solvable by using a search engine.
If you don't yet know how the YouTube API works, inform yourself first. Once you do know and were able to try something out, but are stuck, I encourage you to ask another question with your particular problem (after researching, of course).
I am having problems using regional weather rss feeds that i have been using for many years, and am not much of a programmer, so i do not understand what i could do to get my feeds up and running again... Could someone please help me?
here is one of the weather feeds that worked for me until 2 days ago:
http://weather.yahooapis.com/forecastrss?w=3563&u=c
is there something i can add to it to make it work again?
Thanks for any hints
Unfortunately i had the same problem.
It seems that yahoo changed the URL to
http://xml.weather.yahoo.com/forecastrss?w=”+postal+”&u=c
instead of http://weather.yahooapis.com/forecastrss?w=3563&u=c
I'm creating an app where i would like to display video result from the YouTube site.
However, i do not want the user to register for this.
After i registered my app, and allowed "YouTube Data Api", Still when i'm calling from my app:
https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/search?part=snippet&maxResults=3&order=relevance&q=test®ionCode=AR&type=video&key={MyKey}
I'm getting back "forbidden (403)"
This issue suppose to be really simple, but i'm really straggling to get this to work, i'm thinking maybe it has something to do with the new API version 3.0, that you can not search without authentication?
Any help would be much appreciated thanks.
You can use below URL for searching of youtube videos using version3
https://www.googleapis.com/youtube/v3/search?part=snippet&q=nokialumia&key=#"API _KEY"&maxResults=20&pageToken=0
For suggestions of you tube videos you can use below link. It will gives you the data in XML format. You can parse and get results.
http://suggestqueries.google.com/complete/search?output=toolbar&ds=yt&q=nokialumia
If you want to use Version 2 use below link
Youtube Search using version 2.0
Hope it helps you...!
What kind of results do you want to see? Views, comments, share, likes? I think that you are not able to see any results by Youtube Data Api or Youtube Analytics API V3 without a valid key. You can find all error codes and their meanings from this link.
I hope it helps.
I test with browser with the link I get from "http://www.youtube.com/get_video_info?&video_id=xx" to see if it is be able to download.
After remove some parameters from original link, some works but some still don't.
I read some post here but most of are pretty old. A lot of change since then.
I wonder if there are somebody working on this recently.
The purpose I need this is because my youtube view program need a better quality video to display.
This is link doesn't work:

What wrong with it? I removed fallback_path and replace sig with signature.
The working link is for webm. This is for h264. Both have the same kind of parameters.
And this is working now.

That's not a supported method of interacting with YouTube. You need to use one of the official YouTube Player mechanisms to display YouTube videos.
Please familiarize yourself with the YouTube API Terms of Service if you have any more questions.
