How to move cell without NSIndexPath in UITableView? - ios

I am going to move a cell from a section to another in UITableView. The problem is that I don't know the index path of this cell. (Or in other words, I have an index path for this cell but the index path is likely out of date now). Instead, I have a reference point to this cell. How can I move this cell?

If you have a reference to the cell's object then you can simply get its indexpath.

Pavithra I tried sample project for your question and output.If I get unselected and selected cells in separate array,it crashed as I could not check two array in cellForRowAtIndexPath.So that I save selected and unSelected values in one array.
I created simple understandable solution.I have set values in tableview as unselected as default.If you selected(when you click the cell) it shows UITableViewCellAccessoryCheckmark and other show UITableViewCellAccessoryNone.
It works perfectly.You can easily get.

UItableView load data on scroll in ios

Hi in my array there is huge amount of data and I have to display it in UITableView. But the condition here is I have to display only 5 records initially,then once the user scroll down I have to load more records.I tried searching it but didn't get any useful answer please help me and I agree that we have to use ((void)tableView:(UITableView *)tableView willDisplayCell:(UITableViewCell *)cell forRowAtIndexPath:(NSIndexPath *)indexPath )
Another way
we can adjust the return value of tableView:numberOfRowsInSection: method, every time we want to insert ten rows, you can plus 5 to the return value.

Create a model class for your items

So attTableData will be
self.attTableData=[Item1, Item2];
Now when you make a selection you can set the selected property of the item. In cellForRow check this property and set setAccessoryType.

UISearchbarController is returning a wrong indexpath?

Im working on a tableview with a searchBardisplayController but when I type a search this shows the correct results but when I select the cell shows me a different selection (such as if I select a cell when the tableview is normal, the normal indexpath)
So heres my code:

So Ive tryied with the indexpathforselectedrow from the tableview and the indexpath from searchresultscontroller, whats wrong? I need someones help please
If you set the search display controller's resultsTableView's delegate to this View Controller, then the results TableView will be looking for the didSelectRowAtIndexPath.
You can do this in the viewDidLoad and put self.searchDisplayController.searchResultsTableView.delegate = self
Replace NSIndexPath *index = [self.searchDisplayController.searchResultsTableView indexPathForSelectedRow]; with NSIndexPath *index = indexPath;
