How to restrict an application to download only in iphone and not in IPad

I have an only iPhone application I don't want to use this application install on iPad because some UI doesn't look good on iPad!
I can select "iPhone" in General-->Deployment Info-->Device
My app install on iPad like mode iPhone 1x size I want to restrict this installation.
Does anyone know to how to restrict app on iPad installation?
You can simply change Development Devices from Project's general target page.
from Xcode 11 Beta
from Xcode 10.3
You can restrict the application by programmatically from app delegate method.
You just check the for current device type.
Than navigate to another screen which is design out of the current storyboard just one screen to tell to user why they are not able to use your application.
NOTE : You have to mention all details in Appstore description to save your application rejection chances.

Xamarin App Keyboard is a different size to iOS Keyboard

I'm developing an iOS app in Xamarin (not using Forms, using Xamarin.iOS) and I have noticed that the keyboard which appears in my Xamarin built app is larger than Keyboards which appear in other apps.
E.G. My app
E.G. Other iOS app (Apple Notes)
The numbers aren't really important, what is important is that there is definitely a difference in size between the two keyboards in terms of key height and key spacing.
There does not appear to be any obvious options or settings surrounding this. Trying different Keyboard Styles (I'm using "Default") does not solve the problem.
I would like to get my Keyboard to be the same size as a normal iOS App Keyboard.
EDIT
Krumelur's answer is correct.
This is how I specified the launch screens

In Visual Studio, there does appear to be an issue with this XML entry being lost if you edit the project file through the IDE.
This is not Xamarin related. Your app is running in compatibility mode on an iPhone5 or 6. You will have to provide a launch screen for the particular device or a launch image to let iOS know you support the bigger screen.
See here on how to use launch screens.

UI Issues in converted android Apps to BlackBerry platform

I am on a process of converting an Android app to run in Blackberry platform and to publish it in BlackBerry World (BB Market place).
So I continued to follow the following TUTORIAL and yes it runs well in BlackBerry 10 Device Simulator but with some issues.
In the android App, it has seperate UIs defined for the main screen catogories as follows and works great in all the screen sizes when it is running on android.
layout-small
layout
layout-large
But the converted App to BB, in some cases a part of the UI from the bottom goes beyond the screen limit (In BB 10 device simulator) and does not fit well with the blackberry screen. Basically UI height is too much for BB 10 emulator screen
Also when I check in the converted app while it's running on BB 10 Device simulator it has refered to the UIs defined under layout-small from android APP.
So my questions are
1). What can I do to make the UIs fit well (In converted android App to BB) with all the screen sized BlackBerry devices?
2). How can I ensure that the app will work fine in all the Blackberry screen sizes? (Cause I am using BB 10 device simulator and found no way to get BB Z10 or Q10 device skins)
3). Is it possible to convert the Android app to work fine with pre blackberry 10 OS versioned devices? (As I am not getting the exact point explaining under the "Overview" section of the following LINK)
If someone have experienced the above issues and found solutions would be great to hear and also aprreciate any guidance to get this sortedout. Thanks in advance...!!!
1.) That's a tricky point. If the layout-small is used, I guess you are using the 720x720 simulator, which is Q10 resolution (the Z10 will use layout-large, according to http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Android-Runtime-Development/Android-drawable-folder-layout-folder-for-BB-Z10-and-Q10/m-p/2169275#M3862). Your layout is probably not adapted for a square screen. I'll guess there's no magical answer: you'll have to adapt it. Maybe try it with a Z10 resolution (see point 2) first, to check that it solves your issue.
2.) With the latest simulator, you can choose between a 1280x768 (Z10) or 720x720 (Q10) screen. If the layout is displaying fine on both screen sizes on the emulator, it will display fine on real devices. To change between Z10 and Q10 resolution, you have a number to choose when the emulator is starting (at the very begining).
3.) Android apps runs on two kind of devices: the PlayBook, running BB Tablet OS, and BB10 devices (Q10/Q5/Z10). I guess your question was related to BBOS 7 and before. No, there's no way to run Android apps on them.

Preview icon design on iPhone/iPad (for amateurs)?

our company is having an app made and our app developer is providing this service in-kind. They asked for icon files which I need to prepare for them.
Is there anyway I can preview what the app icon will look like, directly on my iPhone/iPad? I have Adobe Creative Suite (for preparing the graphics), but don't have any iOs developer tools.
Thanks!
If you have a mac, you can download XCode for free and preview your icon with the simulator.
I have ecountered this a few times. And there are a number of ways to do this.
1) Create the icon in png format and upload it to the HTML directory of your webserver. Name the icon 'apple-touch-icon.png'. Point safari on your phone to the url and hit the 'share' button and click the "add to home screen" button. Safari will add that link as an icon to your homescreen and use the "apple-touch-icon.png" as the icon for the link.
2) LiveView Screen caster is a great app for previewing in semi-real time your screen designs on the device. http://www.zambetti.com/projects/liveview/ If you create the icon in the right dimensions and you can preview it on device that way. (My mistake, I actually thought there was a PC version of liveView, but appears there isn't)
Try this iOS App, works great. It connects to your Photoshop, mirrors Photoshop's canvas onto your iOS device.

I'd just send my icon files (pngs for example) to my iPad via e-mail or Dropbox. :)
I made a tool that lets you upload an icon and it will text you a link that you can add to your home screen and preview the icon.
