I need to explicity specify the url for adding a row via inlineNav.
But, I do not know HOW to do that, other than something called saveparameters has the url value I need to specify, documented here: http://www.trirand.com/jqgridwiki/doku.php?id=wiki:inline_editing&s[]=addrowparams
However, function that uses that is saveRow, and that is called by inlineNav save button using default saveparameters, which has wrong URL (the window location, because grid has not editurl specified).
QUESTION: How can I configure jqGrid saveparameters with the url my inlineNav save button needs?
I could put 8 or 10 URLs here showing many asking same question and no answer. Is this stupid question, or not supported or possible?
Any help much appreciated.

I am doing testing for linkedin post. I entered this code for POST button but that does not work. Can you please suggest about this?
It seems that #id attribute value is dynamic so, it will not be able to interact with the Element. You can try with dynamic X-path techniques. Generally, a set of data keeps on changing and rest data remains same.
e.g. <button "id":"emns1233">
here starting part of id will remain same every time but last part that is 1233 will change (may be each time). So, one can try to write X-path as
driver.findElement(By.xpath("//button[starts-with(#id,'emn')])).
Hope it helps. Thanks
I couldn't find an answer to my question anywhere so i decided to post it here.
So, we have eVar33 set up within adobe analytics, when someone submits a form on our website how do i set eVar33 equal to the email address field?
$("form").submit(function(){
$("input#email").val(eVar33);
});
I'm assuming you have an appmeasurement library (aka s_code) on your page. In that case, Crayon Violet is right, something like this is what you want:
$("form").submit(function(){
s.eVar33 = $("input#email").val();
});
That will set the variable. To send it to Adobe, you need to fire either s.t() (for a page view) or, as is more likely the case for you, s.tl() (for things you want to track not associated with a page view- https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/sc/implement/function_tl.html and https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/sc/implement/link_variables.html.)
I suspect in the end, you'd do something like this:
$("form").submit(function(){
s.eVar33 = $("input#email").val();
s.linkTrackVars="eVar33"
s.tl(this,"o","form submitted")
});
I'd like to create an index view which shows a list of items followed by a 'view in app' button to download data directly into the app.
Solution 1. [Not a sulution] I think deepviewcta call is appropriated to use in a single product page. It doesn't look like suitable in my case, because it has to call deepview before calling deepviewcta.
Solution 2. I'm trying to construct the URL directly using 'dynamic' deeplink. The documentation says any additional query param appended will shows up in the initSession callback, but it doesn't work for me.
the construct link looks like this:
https://bnc.lt/a/key_test_kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk?has_app=yes&channel=character&my_list_id=0c56c4bc-fac9-412a-be19-c0feefe30d29
what I got in the callback only has following data
"+clicked_branch_link" = 0;
"+is_first_session" = 0;
in the callback, other params are just missing, I got:
url NSURL * #"my-app://open?link_click_id=197576253652400385" 0x00007fad90d47450
Any Other Solutions?
It turns out I was using live key in ios App while using test key in server end. So solution 2 works now.
Also for anyone want to do the same thing. For regular Branch Links, it is not possible to stay on the same page as the Branch link was clicked from. they suggest adding a $after_click_url to the Link's data. This key will tell the system to route to a particular web address after the Branch Link has been clicked.
Thanks for branch.io's support, they responded very quickly.
The scenario:
I have an ApEx page which pulls a record from a table. The record contains an id, the name of the chart (actually a filename) and the code for an image map as an NVARCHAR2 column called image_map.
When I render the page I have an embedded HTML region which pulls the image in using the #WORKSPACE_IMAGES#&P19_IMAGE. substitution as the src for the image.
Each chart has hot spots (defined in the image_map html markup) which point to other charts on the same ApEx page. I need to embed the:
Application ID (like &APP_ID.)
Session (like &APP_SESSION.)
My problem:
When I try to load the &APP_ID as part of the source into the database it pre-parses it and plugs in the value for the ApEx development app (e.g. 4500) instead of the actual target application (118).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Not a lot of feedback - guess I'm doing something atypical?
In case someone else is trying to do this, the workaround I ended up using was to have a javascript run and replace some custom replacement flags in the urls. The script is embedded in the template of the page and assigns the APEX magic fields to local variables, e.g.:
var my_app_id = '&APP_ID';
Not pretty, but it works...
Ok - I think I've left this open long enough... In the event that anyone else is trying to (mis)use apex in a similar way, it seems like the "apex way" is to use dynamic actions (which seem stable from 4.1.x) and then you can do your dynamic replace from there rather than embedding js in the page(s) themselves.
This seems to be the most maintainable, so I'll mark this as the answer - but if someone else has a better idea, I'm open to education!
I found it difficult to set a dynamic URL on a link to another page - directly - attempting to include the full URL as an individual link target doesn't work, at least in my simplistic world, I'm not an expert (as AJ said: any wisdom appreciated).
Instead, I set individual components of the url via the link, and a 'Before Header' PL/SQL process on the targeted page to combine the elements into a full url and assign it to the full url page-item:
APEX_UTIL.set_session_state(
'PG_FULL_URL',
'http...'||
v('PG_URL_COMPONENT1')||
v('PG_URL_COMPONENT2')||
'..etc..'
);
...where PG_FULL_URL is an item of Type 'Display Image', 'Based On' 'Image URL stored in Page Item Value'.
This is Apex 5.1 btw, I don't know if some of these options are new in this release.
I am using ColdFusion 9.0.1.
I have a new web site that uses Bikes.cfm and Makers.cfm as template pages. I need to be able to pass BikeID and MakerID to both of the these pages, along with other variables. I don't want to use the Actual page name in the URL, such as this:
MyDomain.com/Bikes.cfm?BikeID=1234&MakerID=1234
I want my URL to look more like this:
MyDomain.com/?BikeID=1234&MakerID=1234
I need to NOT specify the page name in the URL.
I want these two URLs to access different data:
MyDomain.com/?BikeID=1234&MakerID=1234 // goes to bike page
MyDomain.com/?MakerID=1234&BikeID=1234 // goes to maker page
So, if BikeID appears in the URL before MakerID, go to the Bikes.cfm page. If MakerID appears before BikeID, go the Makers.cfm page.
Is there an easy and existing method to arrange the URL keys in such a way to have them point to the appropriate page?
Should I just parse the the URL as a list and determine the first ID and go to the appropriate page? Is there a better way?
Any thoughts or hints or ideas would be appreciated.
UPDATE -- It certainly appears that using the order of parameters in a URL is a bad idea for the following reasons:
1) many programs append variables to the URL
2) some programs may reorder the variables
3) GoogleBot may not consider order relevant and will most likely not index the site correctly.
Thanks to everyone who provided advice in a positive manner that my approach was probably a bad idea and would not produce the results I wanted. Thanks to everyone who suggested alternate means to produce the results I wanted.
If anyone of you positive people would like to put your positive comment/advice as an answer, I'd be happy to accept it as the answer.
Despite my grave misgivings about the whole idea, here's how I would do it if I were forced to do so:
index.cfm:
<cfswitch expression="#ListFirst(cgi.query_string, '=')#">
<cfcase value="BikeID">
<cfinclude template="Bikes.cfm">
</cfcase>
<cfcase value="MakerID">
<cfinclude template="Makers.cfm">
</cfcase>
<cfdefaultcase>
<cfinclude template="Welcome.cfm">
</cfdefaultcase>
</cfswitch>
