i am developing an Adobe AIR Mobile Application with Flashbuilder and Actionscript. I need to open the device's (mobile phone or tab) image gallery on a button click event and select the image to load in my AIR Application. Could anyone please help me in that... Thanks in advance.
I believe you're looking for the CameraRoll API. Note that this only returns photos (and not video). Someone ask this same question on the Adobe forums, check it out.

I am struggling with taking ios photo. Is there any possibility to capture photo in iOS real device using Appium? I dont have access to shell and cannot send keys like on Android phone, I also have a problem with tapping on element related to capturing photography. It seems like it is not responding to any tapping/clicks. Is there any API/ way to automate capturing photos using real device camera in iOS?
Also I do not have a problem with picking photography from gallery or uploading it to the phone. I have a problem with clicking on a button responsible for taking photo.
I looked at the internet but most of the solutions are related to the Android phone (which I automated already).

Toms
I am using swift to build a mobile app. I see some Android apps support showing in a smaller size on top-right on the home screen. I wonder how I can acheive this on iOS. Does it require any kind of permission?
Below is a screenshot about YouTube app show on the top-right of the homescreen.
The only comparable thing in iOS is for videos on an iPad — not every iPad supports it. It's called Picture In Picture.
Following this thread URL Scheme to post to Instagram Stories I could post a video directly to Instagram from my iOS app.
The video generated from my app is 1080x1920 (Instagram Stories full-screen size), but for some reason Instagram is transforming the size of it (it makes it wider) only on iPhone X. I have tested iPhone 7, 8Plus and SE.
Is anyone having the same problem?
I have tried to report this bug to instagram through their developer site but they only let me report API issues (not iOS issues).
Thanks!
PS: On iPhone X, if I save the video to the camera roll, and manually navigate to instagram, post new story, and select the video, everything works as expected. The problem is only when sending it through URL Scheme.
Good news. I got connected with someone at Instagram and they reproduced the bug. They are fixing it and it’s going out in their app update next week.
I want to develop live wallpaper app for iOS for 3d touch Apple devices. I tried with gif images and videos but somehow it did not worked. Is it possible? Am I in the wrong direction? This tells its a video. But when I downloaded a live wallpaper from a app and checked its extension its jpeg. Can someone explain?
I will appreciate any help.
I would like to save audio tracks, generated in my MonoTouch application, to the iPod library, so that they appear in the iPod App, and are synced back up to iTunes.
Can anybody point me in the right direction for achieving this?
Thanks
It is not possible to save songs into the iTunes storage space on iOS.
