I have a new project in which I need to work on PrestaShop and create a universal mobile application. I am not getting anything anywhere about how you use it in an iOS application to get the items in different categories, Search API for items, etc.

PrestaShop implements a full-featured RESTful web service.
You need to enable the web service in Advanced Parameters > Web Service, then to use the guides and how-to located at http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Using+the+PrestaShop+Web+Service
You also have an example library on github: https://github.com/PrestaShop/PrestaShop-webservice-lib

Am I able to use Swift code to display all apps that are currently running on an Iphone (or Ipad)? I am hoping to integrate this with an "on/off" button, but am having trouble getting the display to appear.
No. The lists of installed and running applications are treated as private data, and are not available to applications. Apple has specifically rejected applications for attempting to determine what other applications were installed on a user's phone.

what is the correct https link to get JSON data for all the projects at once?
the current link to our dashboard is like this:
https://company.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa
Would like to get all of the projects then use another https call to get all the issues for all the projects. Then after that of course look at assignees etc etc. Looking to collect this data to put into an iOS app for R&D purposes.
I am coming at this blind but I have no idea if I also need someone to set up permissions to do this or something. Never used this API before so just doing some discovery here.
You have to speak with the API :)

Let me know if you need further help.

I was recently asked to create an iOS app for a client which controls all other installed apps' access to cellular data. For instance, the user would be able to turn off cellular data access to all apps but Safari.
I assumed that this wouldn't be possible because of sand-boxing but couldn't find any relevant info via Google or the developer's docs, so thought I'd ask the question here - is there a specific class or framework I should investigate?
No you can't , Apple does not allow such approaches . So there is no helping class or framework at all.

I just created an empty web application in Visual Studio 2013.
From then on, how would I add MVC and/or Web API capabilities similar to how we're able to specify those when creating a project?
In another somewhat similar case, I created an MVC app with no authentication (i.e., users don't log in to the site). How do I modify/set up this project to implement individual users and add Web API capabilities?

I’m currently trying to find a way of sending Instagram DMs to specific users via an API (im building an iOS app and this is one of the functionality im trying to build). I know there are solutions that currently offer that (like Jarvee or Instazood) however none of them seems to offer an API that will allow me to do that in my own app. Given that Instagram current legacy of Instagram API that seems to allow DM will be discontinued on Dec 1st, I cant seem to find an option that enables me to do that. Any idea guys ?
Hey you can use https://github.com/dilame/instagram-private-api to send dm's to your user.
It's written in node but you can find other libraries in other languages
