i'm trying to compile the ootb web_ui sample. (Using Generate Sample Content - Web Application (using the web_ui library)
I have updated to latest editor 0.0.0_r18915 and have run pub update but am getting
Internal error:
'http://127.0.0.1:3030/C:/Users/me/dart/WebApplication/web/packages/logging/logging.dart':
Error: line 250 pos 24: wrong number of type arguments in type 'Comparable'
class Level implements Comparable<Level> {
^
Anyone have any ideas?
Got the same problem here, and after some time, i've decided to pay attention at the stack trace... It says "Wrong number of type arguments in type 'Comparable'". Then, i just opened "logging.dart" and changed this:
class Level implements Comparable<Level> {
to this:
class Level implements Comparable {
Don't know if i did right, but worked fine for me. If someone knows the right way to do it, please, let us know ;)
Click Dart Editor (menu item) -> About Dart Editor.
Click the Download Update button.
After the update has downloaded, install/apply the update.
After the installation is complete, go to Tools (menu item) -> Pub Install.
Go to Tools (menu item) -> Pub Update.
After doing those five steps, I am able to compile the code.

My project started to throw that error suddenly even though i dont use FMenu. I created a new empty project and tried to build it but got the same error. I didn't even add anything to the form just created new project and tried to build. I am using classic borland compiler on the project options btw.
Interesting side is that error coming from a library file Vcl.Forms.hpp. I dont know what to do. Here is the line that error navigated me when i click on it.
In Vcl.Forms.hpp Line 925;
__property Vcl::Menus::TMainMenu* Menu = {read=FMenu, write=SetMenu, stored=IsForm};
I am trying to use Terminal IDE on Lollipop 5.1.1. Using a Samsung E7 device, a mod version of Terminal IDE is provided by someone on XDA
here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1340852&page=7
I tried to use javac script in that mod but it gave an unsatisfied link error, saying that:

It is strange that there is a UnsatisfiedLinkError , because it doesn't say that VM cannot find xyz.so library or cannot find xyz method.
I tried using logcat command right after using Terminal IDE's javac script on Device, the odd thing I found from there is :
I/art ( 6558) : rejecting re-init on previously-failed class java.lang.Class<org.apache.harmony.security.fortress.Services>
I couldn't understand why this happened,
The javac script uses android's dalvikvm command to load
com.spartacusrex.spartacuside.external.javac
class. People have faced this rejecting re-init issue on sdk version 20+ but it's not clear to me why this info message uccurs and how to solve it.
I copied /system/lib/libjavacrypto.so to Terminal IDE's ~/system/lib folder and now javac and dx tools are working.
It seems like Google messed up with things in /system/lib which resulted in errors.
Answering so someone else might find it useful.
I am using analyzer_experimental to parse a Dart file into a CompilationUnit:
import 'package:analyzer_experimental/analyzer.dart';
var unit;
try {
unit = parseDartFile(path);
} on AnalyzerErrorGroup catch(e){
print(e);
}
The above code will catch any parsing errors encountered.
I am also interested in seeing any warnings associated with the file (e.g. 'Undefined name "foo"'). I know that the experimental_analyzer library has the capability to generate these warnings when running from the command line but it does not seem to be possible to get the warnings programmatically, without directly referencing classes in the src folder (which seems like a bad idea).
Is there any way to achieve this?
It's likely this package was very incomplete at the time.
There's now an analyzer package on pub and also a (work-in-progress) STDIN/STDOUT Analyzer Service aimed to help making tooling support easier for IDE extension authors.
I am trying to compile jabber-net in Xamarin Studio so I can use it in a Xamarin.iOS app.
From other searches I have done I am told I need to recompile the source.
From command line I can build the dll, but I have no idea what version of .NET/Mono this is targeting.
This makes a jabber-net.dll and a jabber-net.dll.mdb.
If I add jabber-net.dll to my project, add the reqiured
using jabber.client;
...
...
...
JabberClient client = new JabberClient ();
and try to compile I am told.
/Users/brad/Projects/XMPPChat/XMPPChat/AppDelegate.cs(37,47): error CS0584: Internal compiler error: Could not import type jabber.client.JabberClient' fromjabber-net, Version=2.1.0.702, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=924c5b18328d6f09'

I got no idea what is going on here...
When I try to open any of the .sln's (or include any of the existing projects, even the mono specific project) that came with jabber-net into my solution it will either hang trying to convert the project, or will tell me
The file '/Users/brad/Projects/XMPPChat/JabberNet-2.1.0.710/mono-jabber-net.csproj' could not be loaded.
and will spit out this error.
Any idea where to go from here? :|
Start a new solution from scratch, and add all of the .cs files except those in the test and examples directories. Also make sure you don't have an old version of the .dll around somewhere.
Why I try to run the following OpenCV program, it shows the following error :
ERROR:
test_1.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0x80000003).
Click on OK to terminate the application.
CODE:
#include "cv.h"
#include "highgui.h"
int main()
{
IplImage *img = cvLoadImage("C:\\face.bmp");
cvSetImageROI(img, cvRect(100,100, 100, 100));
cvAddS(img, cvScalar(50), img);
cvResetImageROI(img);
cvShowImage("Test", img);
cvWaitKey(0);
return 0;
}
When i press F5(im using vs2008express), the program encounters a break point...i have attached a picture...dont know, whether, it will help or not.
Error Snapshot Link
It is not that, only this program is producing this error, but also any kind of image manipulation funciton containing (OpenCV)program is resulting in this sitution.
Such as : cvSmooth
one last thing, it there any dedicated OpenCV forum or sth like that?
I am an administrator.So, yes, ive the permission.
a version mismatch.
sorry, i didn't get it?Version mismatch with what?
But, i have found the error using dependency walker.
Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to a missing export
function in a delay-load dependent module.
and also found that, it is a common problem, and found some info in the FAQ of DW...
Why am I seeing a lot of applications where MPR.DLL shows up in red under
SHLWAPI.DLL because it is missing a function named WNetRestoreConnectionA?
I also get a "Warning: At least one module has an unresolved import due to
a missing export function in a delay-load dependent module" message.
Function name : WNetRestoreConnectionA
But there is no guideline about how to solve it. Though, they say, it is not a problem.
i googled a little and found a suggestion.It says,
Turn off your compilers setting to assume you are programming for Win9x.
(I just lost which setting but it is not that difficult, use a #define...)
But i have no idea, how to do that in Visual Studio 2008 express.
Any suggestion how to solve it...
This usually indicates a problem with a dll; either you don't have permission, or a version is mismatched. Try running as Administrator to see if it is a permissions problem. If that doesn't help, try using the Dependency Walker.
