I can't see anywhere in the Intuit Partner Platform documentation that explains which countries my app will be available in or the limitations of the versions used in international countries.
I've been told by a QuickBooks Online sales rep that "not all programs that work in the US version application center will work in international countries."
I'm specifically interested in knowing if users from Canada, Jamaica, the UK, India, and Australia can use my app if it is published on the Intuit App Center here in the US.
At this time, IPP only supports apps that integrate with QuickBooks Online (QBO) for the US market. However, we do plan to enable developers who want to integrate with QBO for customers outside of the US where QBO becomes available.
This is a high priority for Intuit and IPP and we'll share our detailed roadmap with the developer community ASAP. In the meantime, you can register for today's webinar here http://ippblog.intuit.com/blog/2013/02/registration-for-ipp-quickbooks-api-v3-webinar-.html that provides the roadmap for the IPP QuickBooks API including some details on global readiness.

Jarred
Intuit Partner Platform and Intuit Anywhere works ONLY with USA versions of QuickBooks. Period, end of story.
Intuit has indicated they are working on internationalization, but haven't given any timelines on that yet.
Sooo...

No, they won't be able to.
Update with regards to QBO v3 API.
The QBO v3 API supports every country that has a QuickBooks Online version.

I am using Vonage(Nexmo) to send SMS to our service users.
While integrating, I want to test if the SMS is well delivered to our users located in 10+ countries.
However, I do not own the local numbers to send SMS in each country, since those numbers to send SMS are all users' numbers, not mine. (I do not own local branches or offices so I do not own any local numbers to test.)
I tried to use Vonage to buy numbers for each country to test, but as the article shown below, using Vonage's virtual numbers for testing may not be possible.
(Article : https://api.support.vonage.com/hc/en-us/articles/217923827-Can-I-send-SMS-to-my-Virtual-Number-using-the-Vonage-SMS-API- )
How can I test the real-word delivery for my SMS integration in Vonage? Any Ideas?
Please share your knowhows on integrating SMS platform and testing the feature.
first of all a disclaimer: I am the product owner in the platform i am about to talk about i.e Routee. It seems to me that your issue can be easily addressed if you perform the following steps:
Rent a VLN from our platform (We offer 100% coverage). You will need to create an account first in go.routee.net
Set the inboundSmsCallbackUrl as defined in our documentation relevant to receiving inbound SMS
Send an SMS to the virtual number and observe the message being forwarded to your selected endpoint.
And you are done, if you have any issues let me know and i would gladly assist you.

I am developing an iOS app that basically allow people to donate money to charities. This app will be free on the App Store.
Apple guidelines state the following:
21.Charities and contributions
21.1 Apps that include the ability to make donations to recognized charitable organizations must be free
21.2 The collection of donations must be done via a web site in Safari or an SMS
i want to use PayPal mobile sdk (MPL library) to charge the user and pass the money between his PayPal account and the charity's PayPal account.
Is this comply with apple rules (especially 21.2)? will my app be rejected by apple?
must i use a web-view in my app for the implementation of the payment stage? is PayPal mobile sdk apply to their rules?

If I develop and app for a non-tech company for whom it will be an effort (i.e. non-IT people) to get their own Apple iOS developer ID, can I upload it myself under my company ID?
The reason I ask is that it appears to be the norm among other similar companies doing apps for other companies. (At least in the segment/niche I am planning on entering)
In appstore they list: "Developer dev-company Copyright for-company and the app is associated to their account.
I would love if the companies I intend/hope to develop custom apps for would get their own account, but I can just already now see it being at least a small obstacle for some who want "hands off".
What do you do?
You can upload it yourself with your own company name.
You will be the one signing contracts with Apple, and you will be the one legally responsible for the apps.
Your name will be listed in the App Store as the developer.
You can put whatever you want in the copyright notice.
You can use whatever you want for the app name and description, so if you are developing the "Foobar" app for "XYZ Corporation", you can call it "XYZ Foobar" and in the app description you can say it is the official Foobar app for XYZ Corporation. (This assumes that XYZ Corporation has given you permission to use its trademarks.)
If it is a for-pay app, you will receive the payments.
If the other company eventually joins the Developer Program, you can transfer the app to them. (Note: This is a new feature. It wasn't possible until recently.)

Can we register for iOS developer program from India and sell the apps? In Google Play for Android I can not sell apps from India. So is it possible for iOS? and can I pay $99/year by VISA Debit card?
Sorry I searched everywhere but cant find the answer, even if this is not a 100% programming question but still please do answer if you can.
Thanx in advance.
Yes, but no online registration support for India, you need to fax form to Apple. Last april I did same. Yes its 99 USD. You need credit card.
You can get iOS developer certificate here. CLICK HERE
In this link, click on Enroll Now button and continue till you get fax form from apple and follow their guidelines and send fax to apple.(They suggest all)
UPDATES : Now a days apple support online purchase for India also...no need to fax now..its are all in online mode now.
According to this article you can join iOS developer program and you can sell your apps on the App Store. If this information is not enough for you, you can contact Apple and ask them. Good luck!

I want to upload a paid app to andriod market from egypt, they told me that support is not available for egypt for paid apps. can anybody tell me how i can do that and what is alternative to that.
Thanks
Move
Probably not viable, but this is the perfect solution.
Make a free version, and from there link to your own site where you can sell an activation code, no purchase goes through Google.
Might be a violation of TOS, I don't see why it would but I'd take a look into it before you take this route.
Ignore the store altogether.
Just sell the APK from your own site. Not a great option as it's hard for customer to find your app.
Make an account in another country, not sure if this is legal, and almost certainly against TOS. If you have family in other countries you could "sell" your source to them, have them publish it and send your 100% "commission" back.
I would seriously check with a lawyer before taking #4.
I'd go with #2 if it isn't a violation of TOS. Makes it a bit of a pain, but if the app store can't sell paid apps in egypt, then likely the population is used to making purchases outside of the app store.
(Disclaimer: I'm an android dev in Canada, and I have no knowledge of the laws or google policies in Egypt)
