Two days ago my manager say to me to start learn Phamlp.
I develop my projects whit symfony 1.4 and zurb foundations css framework. I'm wondering how to implement this technology in my project.
I search in Google for tutorials and posts for this, but can't find materials about this.
Is it posible to implement this technology in symfony framework 1.4 and how ?
maybe you could write a plugin similar to this one http://www.symfony-project.org/plugins/sfHamlViewPlugin

I want to develop a Umbraco package. Where do I have to start and Where do I have to end?
I have knowledge on Asp.net MVC 4 and using the Umbraco cms as a user
A package is quite a broad definition. A package can for example be an extension to Umbracos back office, but can also simply consist of nodes.
There is plenty of guides and documentation on Umbracos website.
Read more here, for example https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/extending/
This should definitely be where you have to start. Where you have to end is hard to say, because it depends on the package you want to create.
I'm working on a UI application with asp.net mvc. I'm currently using bootstarp.
As i'm still learning about it, i'm confused about where to find the needed components. I used to work with kendo UI where all widgets and api are in the same place.
But now when I need some new functionality or widget (such as datepicker), I find that there are a lot of alternatives and plugins to be installed to choose from..
How should I choose, is there a bootstarp library that I can integrate and which will provide most of what I would need?
As far as I know, there is no package of widgets similar to jquery.ui. But some often used features like popovers and modals are already included in the bootstrap.js.
We are using bootstrap-datepicker by Stefan Petre and Andrew Rowls, which you can install using NuGet.
$('#datePickerId').datepicker();
I am little confused which one is best for build hybrid mobile application.
IONIC Framework, Onsen Framework, IBM Worklight, Sencha or other. I am familiar with javascript, css, and angular.js
There is no "better" framework. They all have their own strength and weakness.
The only things that matter for me when I want to start a new project with a new technology are:
Is it mature enough to be used in production?
Is it still in developpment?
Is it well documented?
Is the community active?
Is it hard to use?
I'm using Onsen UI And Ionic and for what I can tell, both are doing the job, are easy to learn once you know how to use Angular.
Ionic:
Big community and support
Lots of tool to make your developpment easier
Plugins and themes available
Growing project
Onsen UI
Can be used with multiple framework
Good Documentation
Easy Router implementation
Small community
I am planning to integrate Mvc.Futures in my project, but am unable to find any official documentation for this library.
Official project page on nuget.org points to old asp.net project page on codeplex and even there is not so clear where information about Futures can be found.
I might be missing something, but would appreciate if anyone can give me pointers to the right place.
Thanks.
This is follow up on my own question:
I haven't found anything else related to Mvc.Futures after i posted this question, so i ended up using T4MVC which seem to get more love from MSFT than the Futures itself (lead developer of this template is MSFT employee David Ebbo).
We are using it quite successfully so far (more than 8 months) and i am pleased with the results.
For better integration with Visual Studio i am using AutoT4MVC extensions which runs the T4 templates on each change in the sections of the MVC app that require rebuild (such as Controllers, Content*, Views etc..)
To sum up - i would suggest that you stay out of Mvc.Futures for now and use T4MVC instead.
I want to create a web application using ASP.Net MVC5. It is a big enterprise application and having lots of modules, earlier i worked on Siverlight and use the Prism architecture.
I already Google this and found lots of posts but most of them are at least 1 year old so just want to know Is there something new coming introduced which help me to implement the plugin framework.
Hi I was also in search of similar things. I found below helpful.
